Food is very mediocre for such high prices. Everyone at my table of 8 ordered the lobster bisque and we all sent the soup back. It was almost inedible. Service is nice but very slow. Ambience is pretty but a very loud environment.

Topic: Seafire Steakhouse Date: 5/16/25 Quality: 8/10 Value: 2/10 Service: 7/10 Timeliness: 6/10 Atmosphere: 1/10 Total: 24/50 Regarding the atmosphere alone, I would not recommend anyone go here. We went at 8pm for a reservation, and it is INSANELY LOUD inside. (Easily the loudest restaurant I've ever been in - you have to yell for your table to hear anything you say, they also cheer very loudly for birthdays FYI which occur no less than once a minute) Part of the downgraded review is that the value is almost nonexistent here, the tab was about double what we expected to pay and we split 2 steaks for 4 people. We split the New York and they did kindly split it in the kitchen which was very thoughtful. If you drink water ensure you say tap and not flat or sparking as they charge $10 per bottle of water used. $37 for two prawns and an additional $5 for one side of sauce were other standouts for being very, very pricey. House bread and butter for table 2/5 (flavorless, butter needed salt) Moscow Mule 5/5 (Perfect amount of lime) Merlot Wine 4/5 New York 4.5/5 (Large cut - almost perfect! Just needed some plating work) Filet Mignon 4/5 (ordered medium, came closer to medium rare, still fairly good, needs a bit of seasoning) Hand Cut Steak Frites 1.5/5 (completely flavorless, needs salt and some more seasoning) Potato Puree 4/5 Brussel Sprouts 4/5 (a bit too sweet) Prawns 4/5 (a bit overcooked)

Main waiter was nice, friendly and accommodating.. but I did notice that there were lots of servers just standing around conversing when our waters needed to be refilled, and empty plates needed to be removed. We ordered Wagyu Beef Tartare - just mediocre, nothing special, beef was a big mushy. Porterhouse steak - cooked medium rare , found this to be very good. Thick cut, well seasoned and flavourful Brussels Sprouts -- we opted to get the honey drizzle on the side.. while it was well cooked, it was too salty Mac & Cheese - very decadent and creamy, ironically needed more salt/ seasoning. Total before additional tip was $232. Best part of the meal was the Porterhouse & complimentary bread.

I emailed them months beforehand and they had me fill out a form with food preferences and restrictions. We ate here twice. Both times, the chef came out and spoke with us. The bread was vegan. The chef also made an appetizer of heirloom tomato "salad" with vinegarette cucumber&olives, as well as brussel spouts. On the menu, the brussel sprouts had honey and cheese. The ones we received were sweet, but it seemed to be a slightly watery brown sugar mix vs agave vs maple syrup. I didn't think it tasted like honey but I haven't had honey for 10y. ‍ Also the waiter assured us it was not honey. However, we ordered this again the 2nd time and in conversation with the chef, I found out he was not aware honey is not vegan. I kindly educated him and recommended he assume vegans don't eat honey unless they state they do. He made our brussel sprouts the 2nd time with salt/pepper. We again ordered the tomato salad. Both times, the main was a special Beyond meat meal with baked potato and broccoli. The first one was more steak-like, the 2nd was more like a skillfully cooked Beyond burger patty. I never liked red meat and haven't had it since 2008, but both meals were still pretty good. Also had some bites of veganized steak frites (has gluten), but they were a littl dry. For dessert, we had sorbet both times. Overall, the chef was Michael and was EXTREMELY kind and caring. He did not get defensive about the honey issue and truly wanted to learn/improve. He made sure we were happy both times and even said goodbye after our meal.

The food and service were good, and the steakhouse had a nice ambiance, though it was very loud due to poor acoustics. The steak was slightly overcooked in places, but the dishes, including the Potter house, penne pasta, and apple pie, were enjoyable. However, the pricing for kids' fountain drinks was excessive at $4-$6 per small glass with NO refills, which was disappointing and added up quickly with teens who had multiple drinks. We wish the server would have informed us of this. Dinner was roughly a 2 hour experience. $$$$ Over all - good but expected better.

Fully stocked bar, right up front.

Reservations strongly encouraged. Very loud environment. Lots of anniversary and birthday songs are sung. Good selection for a steakhouse. The baked potato side is interesting. A mix of cheese, chives, and bacon. Pretty tasty. $170 for two entrées, one side and one cocktail. Remember, 25% get automatically added to every bill. It's worth a try. Enjoy!

It was ok. Family and I went around prime dinner time (6-7pm) which could have impacted our experience but we were overwhelmed from the start. The entrance is very small and packed and it was hard to reach the front desk because you can't tell who's in line and who isn't. Once we got back to our table we could barely move our seats. Our table was right against a pole and in between two large parties. My family and I could barely speak to each other because it was so loud. The food was ok. Nothing special.

The atmosphere was lively and upbeat. I was really to excited to come here for dinner because I had come years ago and it was very good. This time I will call it good but not excellent. We started with the oyster Rockefellers and we enjoyed those. We also had the crabcakes which I thought were OK but my son thought that they were great. we also had an order of grilled shrimp which were actually pretty well seasoned and tasty. For my entrée, I had the braised short ribs. The sauce they were served in was really good, but some of the meat was not as tender as I thought it would be. The mashed potatoes served with them were good. My son ordered the lobster mac & cheese, and it was terrible. We actually sent it back and had them remove it from the check because not only was the macaroni not flavorful, but it was also soft with a terrible texture. In addition , the lobster tail was also pretty yucky and it is very hard to mess up lobster tail so we didn't understand that one. The dirty martinis were absolutely excellent. The lemon drop martini was good as well. It was packed when we arrived at 7:45, but we were seated within 10 minutes of our reservation time. Our server was just OK. She never really asked us anything about ourselves or interact with us. She simply took our orders and brought everything to us that we asked for. She wasn't rude. She just really wasn't that friendly, but I know that it was busy when we were there. They have a very large menu selection and maybe next time I'll try the steak or salmon. Lastly, br prepared that this is one of the more expensive restaurants at Atlantis Me and my son split everything - two cocktails, one entree and two appetizers and two glasses of lemonade and it was $200. $40 of that was taxes, fees and tip.

First night in Bahamas, wasn't sure what to expect based off the reviews but glad we decided to try. Steak was cooked as requested and had perfect amount of seasoning and tenderness. Most importantly, not fatty! Mac and cheese was delicious as well as Mashed potatoes. Raw Oysters (not pictured) were also good. We ate around 830 & sat outside, around 9p there was a show/parade thru the town and was perfect - Dinner and a show!

From the moment I walked in the service and atmosphere was wonderful. I was sat immediately and my waitress was awesome. The staff were very attentive. The food came out hot and fresh. Everything was wonderful and that had been my best meal being on the island.

The steaks are amazing and the service is nice the interior reminds me of an old fashioned steak house which is exactly what it is.

If you're looking for a steakhouse, look no further. They have some super strong alcoholic drinks here as well. One will give you a great buzz. The service was great. We got the porterhouse and it was decent. The filet mignon half was juicy, but the other half was a little dry. Overall, it's decent but not the best.

It was fresh and zesty. The others loved the thanksgiving empanada which was basically an empanada with turkey and cranberry, etc. Tuna poke was also loved. The tallow fries tasty but I liked the regular ones better. But basically everyone loved all the fries. Entrees were just mediocre. The French dip would, have been nice but the beef was too thick and overcooked and the roll was thick and doughy. The cheese shouldn't be on a French dip at all, but even more so when it was congealed and not melted. Skip this one. The tacos were decent though. The snapper was really good but a little overcooked and seriously over salted. No room for dessert. Love the bar because they accommodated a silly pisco sour request with a humorous creative twist! So yes the food is uneven but I actually would go back because the apps were great, the cat was cute, the bar was clever and our server Liam was just the best.

Prime rib is limited so come early or call ahead if you want the rare/med rare. So why the 3 star review? This is more directed towards corporate. My wife and I won a 'dinner for 2' during a promo they were running over the holidays. When we came to redeem it, we found out it was actually only $30 off our bill. Even the manager was understandably annoyed that they call $30 off a 'dinner for 2' when most entrees on the menu are around $30. He said they haven't changed the amount in 20 years..... umm inflation!!! Look, this is all about setting expectations. Had we been told you won a $30 rebate off our next check, we would have been happy but that is vastly different than telling someone they won dinner for 2 where the average bill is around $80 and then telling them you're only getting $30 taken off the bill. You may want to update some of those marketing campaigns as they are not having the type of impact you are hoping for.

My wife and I agreed on sharing a Porterhouse steak but unfortunately, they ran out the night before. The Waiter told us their daily meat, fish, and starters. We ordered the Empanadas, Me So Crispy, Wedge Salad, 40oz New York Strip (daily meat special), Mac, and Fries. Way too much food for the 2 of us. They brought out a little free snack that's Curried Chicken Salad on a Tortilla chip. Absolutely delicious. Next was the Empanadas and Me So Crispy. The Empanadas with the chimichurri sauce was amazing. The best empanadas we've ever had. I'm not a big seafood fan, but the Spicy Tuna Tartare on the Crispy Rice was spectacular. That was my favorite starter. The Wedge salad came and that was delicious also, the egg was boiled perfectly. The service is amazing. Checking up on us throughout the time. They brought out steak knives from Argentina and we got to choose our weapons. The 40oz New York Strip with sauces, Mac, and fries came out and it was the best cut of meat I've ever had. We ordered it rare to medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. It had a great sear and crust on it, it cut super easily and was super tender. Mac was really good as well, and the fries were perfect. Didn't even need ketchup for them. After we were done, they brought out a free Madeleine and chocolate muffin. They also gave us free Champagne to celebrate our anniversary. We ordered Bread Pudding because why not and it was delicious too. My wife and I have been to quite a few fancy expensive restaurants where even one was 420$ a person. Nicholson Muir has turned to our number 1. We have zero complaints. They exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend them to anyone. We will definitely be back. The large meat platter highlighted the meal with steak, beef ribs, chicken, pork and chorizo sausages accompanied by potatoes and rice. For desert, I had the homemade flan and it was decadent. Every aspect of this meal, including the service was excellent, a great experience from start to finish. I can't wait to visit this place again. On my next visit I plan to try the Bacalhau (cod, potatoes and onions which is Portugal's national dish). In closing, and not to get on a soapbox with this topic, these are the types of restaurants that make a city or town interesting. We need to support these types of places or we will end up with a dining landscape that only offers the Carrabba's and Outback (Fake food) type of places. Convenience and budget are factors but as "they" say "It only cost a little more to go first class"

We made reservations weeks in advance for my father in laws birthday dinner. When we arrived we…read morewere seated in the perfect table for us, Drew was our waiter and made many great suggestions and knew his menu inside and out. we went with the Tomato-watermelon panzenella and the Crispy Duck salad, followed by the straight shooter pizza and for our main course we ordered the gnocchi sardi and the tagliatella. For dessert we went with the mini caramel sundae. Each of the items were so delicious that if I mentioned each item this would be a 4 page review.. I would say the my favorite items, was the pizza, and both Pasta dishes. Although everything was delicious. OMG It was so delicious we all shared and there was plenty to eat! Inside the decore was really interesting with a fun ambiance, bar area and outside seating. We finished with their home made desserts, we tried the Peanut butter ice cream sandwich the carmel ice cream with peanut brittle and fudge.

Oceano, why oh why did I wait so long!?…read more I have been wanting to try Oceano since it was located in its former Lantana location. So when friends asked if I were interested in joining them for an art exhibit, followed by dinner at Oceano, I could not say YES fast enough. I am thrilled to say the wait was worth it. All the chips fell into place when after a small wait we were seated outside (what luck), found our waiter was from Croton-on-the-Hudson (had to wait a year before he was able to land a job at Oceano), and our food was paced perfectly. Started with the Grilled Cucumber Salad that included sumac-labneh, medjool date, berbere spice pickle, pistachio, and the Sugar snap Pea Salad of rhubarb, pecorino, stracciatella, mint, lemon, marcona almond. Next up, Pizza! Had to of course start with the Straight Shooter Pizza which was a simple pie of tomato, mozz, basil, pecorino, good olive oil. Pizza #2 was the Zuchinni Pizza, a white pie of hazelnut, lemon, asiago, mozz, parm, stacciatella. To round out the meal we had the Gnocci Sardi. This was an utterly delicious bowl of pasta that included duck confit, morels, peas, parm, creme fraiche, fines herbs, wild ramps. Super meal with smiles all around. There are two restaurants I feel are super deserving of a Michelin Star in my area, and Oceano is definitely one of them! Not super close to me, but I see a few summer nights at the bar with a salad, pizza, and glass of wine in my future.
