Birthday celebration meals are great, aren't they? My wife and I have taken our family to celebrate our birthdays at Seasons 52 for over 3 years now. This year was no exception. We keep going back because the food and the service are always so good. When we arrived recently, they gave me (it was my birthday this time) a Complimentary Flatbread. We all enjoy the Pesto Chicken and Fresh Mozzarella Flatbread. A nice, tasty start to our meal. If you enjoy tender, flavorful Salmon, then you need to treat yourself to the Salmon. Of course, all of the other dishes are equally good. This time, however, all 3 of us decided to go with the Salmon. Everyone enjoyed their meal. One item of note on the Green Beans. They normal serve the Green Beans a bit crunchy. If you're like me, you can ask them to cook them a bit longer and still enjoy them. Almost forgot to mention, they have a nice selection of classy adult beverages; I even tried the Peach Riesling Mule this time which I rather enjoyed. Since tastes vary, check out the selections yourself and, maybe, try something different - you might like it. Of course, after the dinner comes dessert right? Well, this was no exception. And, being the Birthday Boy, they treated me to a Peanut Butter Torte Mini Indulgence (you can have your choice). The chocolate was smooth and the serving size was just right, after a big dinner. Continuing in the tradition of "exceeding expectations", after dinner the Manager came to check on our meal, and he was kind enough to present me with yet another Complimentary Flatbread for our next visit. Of course, you know, we will be going back - everyone in our family has a birthday. Heck, sometimes we go even without a Birthday to celebrate. Dined here recently for my birthday celebration. Although I've dined here more than once, I will say, this was the BEST service, quality of food, and overall experience thus far. I ended up ordering the shrimp and grits, which were perfectly seasoned (not too salty, nor was it under-seasoned) and the Hawaiian Cosmo. Both were superb. read more

Service was good. The ambiance was fine. Unfortunately, the food (Shrimp and Grits entree) was substandard. It simply lacked flavor.

So I did reservations via OpenTable app which were confirmed within seconds and that helped a lot with convenience - I'll give them five stars starting with their complimentary valet service in front of the restaurant that is a very nice touch - Another thing that I noticed being a new mom with the restaurants and dining out with children it is very nice to see a family restroom and this restaurant has one along with that it does provide a baby changing table inside the family restroom that was nice addition (Happy Mommy) The restaurant was crowded the ambience was simply remarkable and despite the restaurant being crowded it was not extremely noisy - I love the available seating from booking the reservation via OpenTable app and we had the perfect table in my opinion - Our waitress Kirby was very pleasant and extremely informative on the specials in the menu and the available minus the unavailable menu items before we ordered which was very helpful - Once we ordered our beverages in our food order was taken the food was presented to us and I believe it was within two drink refills so perhaps 15 minutes it wasn't that long of a wait the food came out really hot and fresh - I ordered the salmon cedar plank salmon it came with roasted vegetables turnips potatoes carrots squash it was very yummy the salmon was topped with grilled lemon as well - (Happy foodie) :)) read more

They have a vegan menu, so that's nice. The avocado toast appetizer was very good. The pickled onions, the wood grilled sourdough, the 15 year balsamic, it was so far beyond "avocado toast" as we had previously known. I ordered the Vegetable Tasting (wood-grilled kohlrabi steak, vegan paella, asparagus & broccoli). The kohlrabi steak was amazing, though the cut had a quite a few woody bits of bark left around the circumference. The paella was quite good and the other veggies were perfectly grilled. The wood gave the whole affair a subtle flavour that really enhanced the natural flavours of the veggies and smokiness of grilling. Oddly, the paella comes with fauxrizo but this isn't mentioned on the menu. This was quite alarming to see a meat substance in my vegan meal (you'll read why in the next paragraph). A simple indication of this on the menu would be much appreciated by all. The staff wouldn't need to waste time explaining that the meaty stuff was vegan and diners wouldn't let the paella get cold while they wait for a server to come around and check in on them. My wife ordered Knife & Fork grilled vegetable sammich. As instructed by the menu, she ordered it without without the burrata. The waiter even repeated back this instruction when he was confirming our order. The sammich came out with burrata. So that kind of negates the awesomeness of having a vegan menu and kind of put a damper on the night. The waiter of course apologized on behalf of the kitchen but we didn't get any discounts or comps at all. The manager stopped by and seemed to even think it was a bit funny that the error had occurred. That was also off-putting. This place does have a nice beer, wine, cocktail, and booze selection. Like, really, I wanted to like this place a lot. Their total mishandling of messing up an order from the vegan menu just left, pun intended, a bad taste in all our mouths. I enjoy this restaurant because it's fine dining and they do a great job highlighting healthy options on the menu. .. including calorie count ! My favorites are the asparagus soup (who would think that asparagus soup could be so good !), the sea-bass , grilled tuna , and the flatbreads. The only downsides are the bar is very crowded and they probably need a couple of more bartenders . The parking is not good .. it's located in a garage behind the restaurant , where there's no security or the next lot over . They almost force you to valet . read more

The food is good however the service is a bit slow. My colleagues and I went for dinner a couple nights ago after the marathon. We had a good time! Just mentally prepare yourself for slow service. I ordered the New York steak, it's really good! It's about 13 ounces, comes with mashed potatoes and some veggies. We also ordered the Brussels sprout dip and assorted desserts to share. The Brussel sprouts are a bit spicy, so if you're sensitive to spice, be aware. They have a good drink menu! And the wine and cocktails are pretty affordable as well. I have been here several times. Each time, including tonight, was amazing. They have the best Apple Martini that I have tasted so far. Their desserts are bomb. I just recently got into pumpkin and what I had tonight sealed the deal. Gingersnap that! Tonight was my first night trying the Pork Chop. Omg! New fav! So I've been in Memphis for a while and everyone has told me to try this place and i finally did. First thing first the service is trash. I shouldn't have to wait 20mins to order a water. Now with the wait time you'd expect the food to compensate.....it doesn't. I honestly had better food at the Chilis in Germantown. The steak i ordered was edible but definitely not Ruth's Chris. The drinks though were pretty good so at least they make up for everything with that. Back to the service. After finishing our food and waiting literally 30mins i had to walk up to the front desk and ask for my check or the waiter. After they told me some lie magically my waiter appears with our check. I enjoy the "fanciful but casual" vibe, the bar area seating is my favorite, the seasonal menu change-up are awesome, the calorie conscious dining, the delicious dessert shooters (pecan pie is BAE), and the fact that their flatbreads are divine! But what tops my list and sends me over the edge is the Jam Jar sweet Shiraz served by the glass! YAAASSSS! No one has it, ever, but Seasons has it! Really enjoyed myself, the food was great and the waitress was great. My only concern was the smell, when you walk in there is a smell of wetness, like mildew or old eggs. It's not super strong but I have a very sensitive sense of smell and it made my experience kind of odd. Overall food was pretty good, I would eat here again if the smell is gone. read more

Went here to treat my husband to a Father's Day dinner with our daughter. Beautiful space, a bit crowded in the back area on the other side of the bar and main dining room. Our waitress was friendly, but it took her a while to check on us after our food came out and my husband ordered a medium well wood grilled filet that was closer to medium rare. Once we flagged down out server it was taken back to the kitchen, but then they brought the wrong cut of steak back out ( wood grilled tenderloin I believe). Stopped by for dinner and happy hour. We were asked to sit in bar area, which is different from the last two times I've been here. I truthfully don't know why people who are participating in happy hour had to sit there. Service was slow due to all the people crammed into this small area and little staffing assigned to work in this area. Our waitress was friendly, I actually wondered if it was so slow to prevent people from ordering too much during happy hour. The food was good. I'm so in love with the golden Beets salad from here. They have a wonderful full wine selection but fall incredibly short when it comes to a beer list. Maybe only 4-6 beers ever available. While I would come here so much more often I can never get my boyfriend on board. Between the lack of beer and no real good steak options and overall limited menu he just refuses to go anymore. Absolutely ruined our Mother's Day lunch. We had 12:45 reservations yet had to beg to be seated at 1:30. Then had to ask the manager to be waited on. Then I had to go to the bar and ask for our food at 2:10. After not being waited on the entire time, we left money on the table and left. No check was brought, No dessert offered. First time diners, but we will DEFINITELY be back! My boo still talks about the food and it's been a couple weeks since our experience so I had to Yelp. Our anniversary falls in December so we tend to compete with other diners finding reservations due to parties, etc. Typically, this hasn't been a big deal in the past. Due to Covid and some of my own personal health issues, we haven't gone out to dine much at all, let alone for special occasions. This year was particularly rough for me, so I wanted to dress up and go out for our special night. Fortunately, the restaurant we have had our anniversary dinners in the past was booked for the evening we could go so I opted for something new. Couldn't have turned out better! The atmosphere of the restaurant itself is hip, yet elegant. The staff is inviting. We were seated at our table within a few short minutes of waiting (Granted, we arrived well before our reservation time so that was on us!). Our table was decked with an anniversary placard and all the staff that passed greeted us with a "Happy Anniversary!" as they walked by! The cocktails were exotic and delicious. I had something made from blue pea flower which was lovely to look at. Then...THE FOOD! Oh my! The artichokes with hummus were divine as was the crab polenta! I had the lamb while my SO had the Surf & Turf! We were surprised with champagne toasts and dessert which was a surprise and completely unexpected but made the night all the more memorable! I chose to eat here for dinner recently on a business trip and it was across the street from the hotel. I'll just say the introduction after a day traveling was NOT the best. A. The parking is valet only unless you park in the garage in the back. Kind of a hike and while well lit, it didn't feel 100% safe at times. B. The place was PACKED. I walked in and informed the person at the host stand that it was just me. I was told it was going to be a wait but they had bar tops open. The person was surely the manager. I asked if it was open seating or if I need to be seated and she just repeated "there are some seats open at the bar". I took my queue and walked to a bar top. The bar had 2-3 folks behind it managing service and the bar tops. They were in the weeds HARDCORE. I almost immediately was regretting my decision based on these events but chose to stick it out. I got a New Old Fashioned, or whatever they call it. It was hella sweet. I asked the bartender if they were normally so sweet and he just shrugged his shoulders and said "i dunno". Sweet! I order crab cakes and tuna tartare as starters. Food here comes QUICK! Both of these dishes were super tasty. I was initially turned off when I saw the crab cake covered in panko but as soon as I cut it, realized it was strictly exterior coating. Both didn't disappoint. Once the place started clearing out, the bar staff were thanking everyone for being patient. It seemed like a pretty young crew and were handling it to the best of their abilities. I then had a wine flight, can't mess that one up and roasted beet salad. That salad came out within 2-3 minutes, no lie. They were both quite good. My Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly. The sauce they put on top was just absolutely breathtaking. You could taste the wine they used. The yukon mash was delicious. The broccolini was not my favorite. The truffled risotto was so creamy and just melts in your mouth. Out of the two desserts, my favorite was the turtle cheesecake, the key lime was too sweet to my liking. The entire meaning behind Seasons 52 got my attention from the beginning! It literally signifies 52 weeks in a year and the different Seasons we experience= geniuses! The food was so refreshing and seemed to Be cooked with the best of oils and seasonings. The trout was seasoned so well!!! Honestly, it was better than the Salmon. Food was delicious. I had the tenderloin salad and my husband had the rotisserie chicken. We had a bbq shrimp flatbread and a crabcake for an appetizer. All four items were very good. Our service was good, but not as good as in the past. The biggest turn off, and it was a huge let down, was there apparently is not a dress code. Or, if there is one, it is not enforced. Pants/sweats below the butt, dresses and skirts barely covering anything. Me and my Lupus Sisters dined at Seasons 52 in Memphis, on a Thursday night. We were seated immediately. I chose this restaurant, due to it being close by my hotel. I saw the menu and ambiance of the restaurant and knew that this was the restaurant, that I had to visit. The waitress was very warm & friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We were served drinks, I had the Rosé lemonade. OMG!!! It was sooo good, that I purchased another, prior to my finishing my meal. My meal was the rainbow trout, potatoes & grilled asparagus with mushrooms stuffed with shrimp & spinach. It was DELICIOUS!! Our waitress later presented us, with a variety of choices of desserts, in shot glasses. We each choose 2. I had the peanut butter & chocolate and pecan pie. We all agreed that the variety of desserts were very rich, sweet & delicious! I had a second piece of trout and requested a to go bag. I noticed that my "sister's" asparagus stalks were larger than the stalks, that I had just eaten and I jokingly mentioned it to the waitress. She offered to get me a side order, I declined and told her, that I was just kidding. But when she came back with my doggy bag, container, the asparagus was in the container.
