Firstly, the ambiance of the restaurant is delightful, with large glass windows letting in abundant sunlight, creating a welcoming atmosphere perfect for enjoying a meal. The young server/chef was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive impression. However, we found the portion size of one of our pokè bowls to be notably smaller than the other, and it looked to be haphazardly thrown together. Every other pokè bowl we've received looked like the photos others have posted: full of beautiful ingredients and cleanly plated. But this one with creamy shrimp, cucumbers, corn, edamame, and noodles/rice looked almost half empty when we got it; see the picture and judge for yourself. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed by the time we discovered it, so we couldn't follow up to see what happened. We're inclined to write it off as a 1 time mistake, with the hopes that it doesn't happen again since we really do love this restaurant, but hopefully their quality control can be improved to prevent this kind of mistake in the future.
