Build Your Own Poke Bowl Shoyu salmon with all the fixings that come with it. YUM

Big poke girl here. Grew up in Hawaii, so I take my poke quite seriously. Saw this new poke spot few blocks down the road from my work and it had solid reviews, enough for me to give it a try. Menu: There are pre-designed signature bowls and there's a build your own bowl option that's starts at $16. I opted for building my own bowl: brown rice, the included sides of imitation krab, cucumbers, seaweed salad, corn, crispy onions, and went with salmon shoyu poke. Absolutely delicious, salmon was so tender and marinated with just the right amount of sauce. 9/10! I find the canned yellow corn a little odd (not something you typically see in Hawaii poke bowls), but it works and I didn't mind the extra color/crunch. Portion size was great for there being one size. The interior of the space is a nice corner location off Hoyt and NW 11th, so lots of bright natural light, cute but simple decor with wood slats decorated along their white walls and cute plants tucked into the corners. Service was quick and presentation of the bowl was great. I'm really excited about this spot, my new favorite lunch spot when at work. Will spread word to my coworkers of course! Hope All Blue sticks around for a while!

Simple and straightforward menu. Build you own poke for $20. Comes with crab, corn, seaweed and cucumbers. Choose your base, protein and sauce. Good sized portion for the price. I second the previous review to add more toppings to the menu especially ginger, that would be lovely. Friendly customer service in a clean bright space.

Super tasty, fresh fish, and friendly staff. I feel like there aren't many good poke places on the west side, so I'm super excited to become a regular here! The portion size is very generous and has a lot of fish to rice ratio compared to others I've had. Love it!

A large amount of food. I didn't expect the bowl to be so big, I could have shared with my husband. There were good scoop of poke, salmon in our rice bowl. The only negative was too much sauce was added, which made it a tag salty. Otherwise it was a good meal.

The Celery -- Portland, OR…read more Walked in and immediately felt like I should own a fixed-gear bike. Industrial. Clean lines. Slightly edgy. The kind of place where you expect someone to be editing a documentary on a laptop made of recycled aluminum. Late afternoon visit, so the hipster crowd had clearly skateboarded back to their respective creative labs. I had the place to myself. Prime auditing conditions. First impression? This place is built for volume. You can tell. Efficient layout. Assembly-line potential. If bowls were a factory sport, this would be a playoff team. Ordered the Home Grown. Took a quick bathroom break. Came back and -- boom -- bowl was already on the counter. FAST. And it looked elite. Then I saw it. A generous dollop of peanut butter at the top, sprinkled with hemp seeds. I almost got emotional. It felt like flying over your hometown after months away. Familiar. Safe. Right. First bite? Delicious. Smooth. Creamy. Almost like frozen yogurt or soft serve. Easy eating. Crowd-pleasing texture. And then... I looked up. Another bowl was being made. The açaí base was coming out of a soft-serve machine. As a purist, this one hurt. I want hand-scooped. Blender-blade symphony. Crafted, not dispensed. I had a small internal crisis. But here's the problem: I really enjoyed it. So now I'm torn between my values and my taste buds. Would I go back? Yes. Would I wrestle internally again? Also yes. Rating 3.8 / 5 Açaí Berries Breakdown * Taste: 4.3/5 * Ingredients: 4/5 * Consistency: 4.5/5 * Purist Pain Factor: High * Speed: 5/5 Current Status: Machine-Made But Memorable Lesson Learned: Sometimes the machine wins. Spiritual Conflict Level: Ongoing. -- The Açaí Guy
