I purchased a pool from this company with a 5 to 7 year warranty. After one year the pool lining started coming off. I called and someone came out to fix the pool. The following year the liner came off again and now they want to charge me $800 to come out to fix it. I was told the company change the policy. How can you change a policy after you agree to a 5-7 year warranty? I called for the other locations and no one will replace the liner. Secard Pools ROCKS!!! This place was so patient with my never ending home build project!!! They worked with us every step of the way!!! I wanted a vinyl liner because that's what I had had in my former pools in homes in another state. They were the only ones I found to do vinyl liners!!! The gunite or concrete inground pools are at least 2-3x the cost to start with and unbelievably pricey to refinish later down the road. Secard had a great selection of outside trim and liner styles for our Islander Pool. Also, vacuums, accessories, etc. we also got a CalSpa hot tub as well... amazeballs!!!!! Beautiful interior design!!!! I would be remiss not to mention the help we received from Vince right from the first meeting. He walked us through the whole purchase and everything we would need. He was great in answering all of my questions that first day and several times since that day. The other Secard employee, a real standout, my "pool & hot tub ride or die" Becca!!!!! Nothing short of amazing. She could not have been more attentive to me throughout this whole time... and it has been a journey of a time! Our house build took so long and Secard stuck it out with us. Becca was always quick to call or text me with any updates at all, always always made herself available to me to answer questions, seek out information for me and just quell my anxiety through the process. We are absolutely thrilled with our islander pool! We recently purchased a weekend home on a 5 acre plot in the middle of the mohave desert. Bob Cannon, being the first person from Secard I had spoken with is a very down to earth salesman. Horrible customer service I sign my contract 4/16, they stated 45 days the pool should be done, its 7/12 and the pool is still not done I call to speak with some one and they blame it on scheduling, the said digging the pool is a one day job its took the 3 weeks(one day a week). they left my back yard a mess, it's been over a month since anyone has checked in with me and told me anything(still waiting) I would not recommend anyone getting a pool done from them. Do not waste your time Bob says it was a fencing delay, when he himself told me over the phone they were waiting on the liner "it takes 4 weeks for the liner to come in" I'm still waiting on seacard to come and make this whole situation right read more

I took over the pool cleaning in my pool earlier this summer and have been coming to Secard pools for my chemicals. They were very helpful getting me set up with what I needed and this location always has the chemical needed instock. We are absolutely loving our New Cal Spa Swim Spa purchased from Secard Pools. It will be a life saver cooling down this summer in the Inland Empire heat. My kids have used it every day since it was delivered 5 weeks ago. It's now a big part of my exercise routine. We're satisfied with every aspect of the purchase process, from the price which i I thought was a very reasonable after shopping around and doing research, to the delivery and crane companies used by Secard, and quick responses from Aaron when I have reached out with questions or concerns. Keep in mind, if you are new to pool or spa maintenance like I am, you will want to do some research in advance, regarding the electrical requirements and set up, as well as general pool/spa maintenance. There is a lot to learn and the spa manual does not provide everything you need to know, but thankfully there is a ton of info online and on YouTube so just make sure you are getting info from a credible source . We have had our Islander Pool for 10 plus years. The pool itself is a great value and my family and I have always enjoyed it. Recently it came time to replace the liner. Aaron Gapason was quick to help us with the liner replacement and also helped us with some upgrades to the pool siding. After the liner replacement there were a few settling in adjustments that needed to be made but Ashley, Rachel, Robert and all the others in the construction office were always quick to help. I wish I knew the names of all the workers in the installation, leak detection and cut out crews because they were extremely helpful and courteous and had to deal with the extreme weather conditions of this year's rainy season. We are so pleased with Secard. We purchased a new top for our spa. We had purchased the spa over 5 years ago. Due to the weather and sun, the top needed replacing. They still had our information on file. They were so friendly and treated us like family. They would normally load the cover into your vehicle, at they're business. We explained that we were both 75, with medical problems, no family to help us and no truck to carry it in. The owner personally treated us like his own grandparents. He delivered the top, put it on and hauled away the old one! We are so pleased to see that there are still such good people. read more

Update: Unknown to us at time of purchase, the pool came with quite the feature of self draining. Pools are expensive as it is but this pool has been a financial nightmare. It has become a burden to maintain and we've simply given up on attempting to refilling it and trying to keep it clean. Within 2 weeks, the pool was drained of all water. We haven't been contacted and doubt we ever will so, I'm glad 400+ of you have seen these images and review and I'm glad a couple of you have reviewed it as helpful. As I said before, when we "repaired" our pool with Secard we were excited to have our pool back and all the joy that comes with owning a pool during those hot summer days. However, We got the complete opposite. I have attached new images that show the condition of the lovely hole Secard built us, again it was drained by ITSELF, and in the images you can see the condition the vinyl liner is in. I have also attached the contract I have from Secard, blacking out the confidential information, as proof that they did, in fact, cause this mess. We also have a warranty but I doubt Secard will ever take the blame for this one and repair it. They have proved to us that they're not the type of company to stick up for their product. If we asked yet again for a repair or refund I bet they'd blame the condition this pool is in on us. Also note they haven't replied to my review like they did for other negative ones.. I wonder why that may be? I'm here to once again warn you all to never go with Secard Pools & Spa, even if it seems cheaper up front, you won't be doing your future self a favor. I was really looking forward to purchasing a jacuzzi. Came into this store not knowing a whole lot but assumed that with a not to small company i would be in good hands. Instead all they wanted to make was a sale. I purchased a jacuzzi in October and its never been used because had the salesman told me thar i would have to run this thing all day in order to heat it and was all that money i would of purchased one that was a little more energy efficient and cost effective. There now telling me to upgrade on the watage i would need to pay an additional $400 something dollars on top 9f this jacuzzi needing ita own electrical plug which will cost me another few thousand. Secard Pools sells a horrible product (Cal Spas). The Cal Spa we purchased in 2020 has cracks all over the acrylic shell. One repair was attempted under warranty and it failed within a month and the cracking continues all over the shell. The repair technician said Cal Spas is one of the worst produced spa brands out there. STAY AWAY. Best (worst) part is Cal Spas wont provide a replacement without additional $$$ or refund the purchase price even though their product is defective and unusable. Do yourself a favor if you are in the market for a new spa and look at the warranty length of the spa you have in mind. You can glean a lot of information on the quality build of a spa based on this(didn't know this before my purchase) Cal Spa has a 2 YEAR warranty against shell cracking and other companies have lifetime... Not even a comparison in quality. Save the headache and financial loss and look elsewhere. I will update my review with any future correspondence with the company. read more

We always wanted to put an inground swimming pool but we have a small backyard and had to stick to a budget for this project. Once we were ready to put a pool we checked contractors on their prices, license and customer reviews. Several years back we saw Secard pools at the Pomona Fair and I called Bob Cannon and scheduled an estimate. Bob was courteous, patient and answered our questions and he seemed honest and his estimate (pool size 10 ft X 24 ft) was within our budget therefore we went with Secard. I don't want to bore you with unnecessary information I just want to give you the major factors with the work that was provided by Secard Pools and the bottom line is would we hire them again? Our answer is DEFINITELY YES and let me explain why. Secard has been building pools since 1958, and their staff Eileen, Ashley, Geronimo, Brian, Steve, and their pool crew are exceptional in their customer service. Let me say that we are very meticulous when it comes to our home and we expect the work to be done right. And anyone or any contractor that tells you that putting a pool is easy and you won't have any problems they are not being honest. Major construction work is a headache but knowing that you have the right team handling every problem is a big relieve. The work for our pool started in mid September 2016, and it was completed mid March 2017. It took 6 months to get our pool done but we hit a snag, and we made some changes along the way we upgraded to Hayward Salt Chlorinator and Pentair IntelliBrite LED 5G white light. In addition, we had to get the broken paving stones re-done and the new patio cover installed by our other contractors before the pool was completed and Secard worked with us they did not RUSH us. Lastly, we had major storms in California this winter which is very unusual and this extended the completion date . The snag was with the drains they were not symmetrical and the channel drain was not installed to our standards. We called Bob and told him about our concerns. He came to our home to evaluate the situation and he apologized and told us "No Problem" we will take care of it. We were a bit worried that perhaps we hired the wrong company, but they handle the situation like professionals. Once the drains and channel drain were done we were very happy with the results. And you can see for yourself from the pictures. It was a good feeling knowing that the work crew were careful not to damage our home more than it was necessary. Yes, there was some damage to our lawn when the BobCAT trailed back and forth to remove dirt and some of our paving stones were also broken but we were told at the beginning that this would happen so it wasn't a surprise. We were tired with our backyard's old look but now every time that we look at our backyard the transformation with our swimming pool makes us feel like we are in a five star resort or in an HGTV Urban Oasis . We are incredibly happy with the work that was provided by the staff at Secard Pools and Spa and we look forward to continue in having Secard handle our future needs for our pool.
