A bartender I know at another establishment made me aware of this new spot. I visited today (06/30/20024) for a little day drinking. I purposely stayed away this past Friday and Saturday night (grand opening weekend). The manager here confirmed that it was really busy this past inaugural weekend. I would describe this as a bar with some kitchen service. They serve coffee, beer, wine and mixed drinks. It is also an art space. What's important for you to know: They have happy hour specials every day and have live music every night. While we were greeted warmly/promptly and placed our order pretty much straight away, it took way too long to get our drinks. (The place was pretty empty.) My wife was also a bit underwhelmed by the size of her mimosa (check out the picture.) compare their mimosa with the one that we got at Momosan. They give you a nice glass of champagne with the orange juice on the side. 6 ounces? I don't know, but it's more in keeping up with what we are used to. With that said, my Bloody Mary was excellent. Also, while it took longer than she hoped for it to arrive, my wife enjoyed her ham and egg croissant. She mentioned that I wouldn't like it because the ham was on the sweet side. Not a bad thing. Had breakfast here this morning. Got the morning feast for $21.75. It was good but not filling. Quite expensive for a breakfast platter and you leave hungry. We got in around 10 am, it was self-seating, there was a few people inside already, but the service was still pretty quick! We finished eating at like 10:45 (,: Our server, Joleen, was amazing. She was very helpful, on top of things, and gave great suggestions! We all really liked our food, especially the bacon bagel, redbull infusion, and the mimosas were perfect! It might seem early but in this tourist heavy area I can see this place being a mad house if they offered the deals in the normal happy hour times. The $5 mai tais were a surprise. With the prices being what they are I thought it was going to be a big pitcher of pre made mai tai they just pour. Oh I was wrong. From my time here they were a few patrons and all drinks were made fresh and made very well. Nice atmosphere, good customer service and very reasonable prices which is a pleasant surprise in this area of Waikiki. I have been a repeat visitor here and rarely experienced good customer service. I am local and come here for the good deals at happy hour and despite being a decent tipper, I have not seen reciprocal service. Perhaps during non-happy hours the staff sees better tips, and they feel they deserve more than $1 for one beer pour for a $4 beer pour (which just increased from $3 to $4). I am not the best tipper amongst us, but at the end of the night, I tip out well and average more per. It's been my experience ( 6 months of once a week plus) that the folks I come with who are very exceptional tippers receive the same slow service. I could be wrong but I see workers focusing on bottles and shelves being dusted and everything is spotless more than the customer's drinks being poured. I had thought of leaving a bad review in the past, while I totally loathed the place, I could not justify a bad review if I kept returning. Today changed everything. From the misunderstanding with the bartender to the interaction with the supervisor, I was overwhelmed with the unprofessionalism. I was about to leave, (while paying in cash the entire time for each drink) I was expected to pay $30 when I was pretty certain I owed one drink. I was willing to pay for two, because sure maybe I was wrong. I was informed my tab was way more. While I disputed it, I was threatened with not being welcome back. I had not gotten vocal or disrespectful at any moment during our exchange, however I was given an extreme result regarding our misunderstanding. I said ok and I would pay the $16 extra for my tab and gave a $15 tip on top to the bartender (who I felt wronged by, just to make the situation good....for one beer maybe 2) after already tipping for every drink. I was compelled to return because I felt extremely wronged and asked to speak again to the manager to make everything right. She already had her phone in hand and had the tape to show the tape and I shown myself requesting for 2 drinks. ( 2 drinks is way different from 7 drinks, 2X$4.20 = $8.40 vs 7X$4.20= 29.40). I ordered one drink, and then realized we need two on our end, that is why the tape saw me flash 2. I needed a drink and so did my friend. that is 2 drinks. No chance I owed them anywhere the amount they said. I owed them for one drink I ordered as happy hour ended. Had my friend not paid for his, fine, that's 2 at $4.20 per. It was a misunderstanding where the customer was in the right and she somehow saw it another way. This is not only a situation where the customer is always right. The customer was RIGHT! I NEVER write reviews. NEVER. Take that to the bank. The manager was upset (because IMO I didn't realize she was the manager) when I asked to speak to a manager. IMO this played into why she was blind to what took place. This took place on 3/31/2026, and I will not remove this unless they find a way to make it right. read more

TOURISTS BEWARE! This place has a lot of potential! Unfortunately, the service is terrible and the locals that are all cool with the bartenders/servers can definitely ruin your night. After sitting AT THE BAR for close to 10 minutes, bartenders pretty much ignored us and served all their friends that were in the back of the room. After finally ordering, one of the cocktails didn't come out. Had to ask again and they didn't seem to really care. After getting back to the hotel and checking the receipt, we realized they overcharged $10 for an $8 beer. It's a shame since the band that had just started playing was pretty good, but we got bad vibes from the crowd and servers and were quickly "pushed out". To the owner that seems pretty active here. For one, we had a good time at your other spot. Of the 30+ places we visited, this was the only negative experience. As I expected, in response to the owner. No I did not order a draft pour. It was an IPA can listed here for $8 and asked for a glass after and poured my own can of beer into a cup. Since you seem to have done your homework. Fun new spot is definitely worth a visit. Came by for breakfast and walked right past it. Sign is small and name of business is in funcky letters making it hard to see. Inside received a warm greeting and ordered the guava waffles. They were loaded with fresh fruit and it was delicious. Waffle was cooked to perfection and crispy. The dough was a tad bit heavier than I prefer but it is hard to make the perfect waffle (light and fluffy inside and crispy outside). what a fun new find through the yelp app! what caught my eye was "dog friendly" was in the features tab. They are located in front of the laylow hotel and in the middle of waikiki so parking may or may not be a challenge unless you're already in the area for something or doing a staycation. I loved the vibes here - coffee shop by day and concert hall by night. they apparently have a DJ in the early mornings to wake you up too. LOL. I came here for happy hour which starts at 12pm.
