I went to the the location over here on 109th and Western. The store didn't look very clean. The service was ok. However, the real test was the food. The Shrimp Toast was too greasy. If you want a carton of grease with weighed down greasy bread, this is the dish for you. The eggrolls looked like they were bought from Costco or Sam's Club, they did not look handmade in house. My mom said the Orange Chicken was tasty, however, she did not eat the rest of it. As for the Chow Mein I had, it was ok, I didn't have high expectations after eating the Shrimp Toast. I was then hung up on. When I called back, the employee insisted that I hung up on him even though I was speaking to him via speaker phone. I've ordered from this place for more than 15 years and never had a problem. In this day and age reviews seem to have more of an impact than an in person complaint. Therefore, as of today. However I've never used them for dining at the location. Their service is efficient and professional. Not all that friendly but not rude either, just efficient. I DO love their food. It's usually quickly cooked and prepared. They're mostly clean. I've never had a problem with them as far as cleanliness. I love their Chicken & or Beef Fried Rice. I usually get a side of Lobster Sauce or I'll request additional Sweet and Sour sauce. I also love their Foo Young selections. You can add an egg for an extra cost. The egg rolls are prepped for you/me fresh. I also enjoy their BBQ selection occasionally. I love their. Crab Rangoon. The parking can be a challenge there's a laundry room next door so people are washing clothes sometimes when I am in the area. It's usually not a big problem. I paid and have a practice of checking my receipt to see if I was charged the correct tax. Sure enough, the tax was way higher than it should have been.(10.25%) I told the gentleman at the register and calculated the tax again in front of him. He kept saying he didn't know what the tax should be and to talk to the boss. I just wanted him to refund the difference. He cops an attitude so I leave.
