Good ol See's candy. Walking into their stores just makes me feel like a kid again. A familiarity that you crave. I waited in line like usual. I got to have a sample of my chocolate of choice. I like the milk chocolate with toffee & almonds. I had a few other pieces that I took home with me of other chocolates. they have a wide variety of gift box gift of chocolates & other treats. I love how consistent their store is. I hope it never changes. There's ample parking outside and it's just a great place to get good ol chocolate from. read more

Not sure why only one server today. Line is getting long as he wraps and takes care of a customer with specific requests. Normally there is one in a register to help those who don't need assistance at the counter sad did someone call out? Changed my rating as someone got back to me as they did have a call out. Stopped in to pick up a little sweet treat for my Mom for her birthday (and maybe a little something for myself too). The employees are always so friendly and personable. I can't remember how we got on the subject but the gentleman that helped me has a nephew that goes to SDSU (where my son goes) and we got to talking for a bit. Great location and selection of sweets and goodies. You may need to park a little bit away because of everything in the area but it is not too bad. I love this location, not only because it is closer to home but the staff just really make you want to come back. read more

I'm a sucker for see's candy. I was waiting to meet sonmeone so I stopped in to grab a piece of chocolate. It always smells so good in the stores which isn't surprising because chocolate confections.. I wandered around looking at the very tempting holiday offerings and decided on a marshmallow tree. The staff is always so friendly and helpful and this was no exception. I was offered a piece of dark or milk chocolate and was given a chocolate butterscotch sample. Yum. The chocolate I purchased was $4 which is quite pricey but I expect the high prices from see's and only stop in occasionally. My favorites are scotchmallows so that's usually what I get. read more

Walked in minutes before they closed only to be told by an employee that they were already closed. While I hate admitting in this instance i was a last minute customer I was still in the door at 5:58pm and the holiday hours said they were open till 6:00pm. The sign was still up saying they were open. The lady with glasses was barely walking towards the sign to flip it and close the door when I again had made it in the store. She then offered a sample while having me leave, but that was of no value to me because I require sugar free. Overall very disappointing to have an experience like this from a brand that is usually very welcoming and friendly. read more

My wife & I stopped by our favorite sweet shop, See's Candies in Carmel Mountain. This place never disappoints. So clean, organized & well stocked. Wife wanted her Almond Royal, I was craving the sugar-free peanut brittle. Alexis V. helped us. Alexis was extremely helpful, courteous and super friendly. Damn generous too with the samples. We felt so grateful & guilty at the same time that we purchased additional candies from Alexis. Talk about impressive salesmanship - Ambush the customer with great customer service AND generosity. Stopped in here real quickly after having dinner right next door. It was 5 minutes till Closing and Reyna assisted us. We got to choose samples between milk or dark chocolate. I chose the milk chocolate caramel patty. Yummy! She chuckled with me that I chose that...especially because when I said "go figure I usually choose a brittle or taffy type candy even when I have braces right now!" We got a few candies to bring home & a 5 off $40 deal for our next visit. It has super cute Halloween and fall packaging and the place is neat, organized and very clean. Chocolate!!!!! So much chocolate!!!!!! Very old school shop with all the classics. This place is clean and friendly and very nice. The reason for the low stars is the menu and taste. I am not a huge fan of See's so this review is really about my personal opinion of the chocolate and varieties. I am not impressed with the types, sizes and look and feel of the chocolate. it just feels very routine and same old chocolate. Love their chocolate! Great as gifts for family and friends during the holidays. The toffee-ettes and almond royals are $30 for a can. You can also buy individual chocolates by the pound at $32.50 a lb. Located in the same plaza as Home Depot, right next to Mostra Coffee. Lots of parking available but be careful! People tend to speed in this plaza. read more

Had the pleasure of being served by the tremendous Lisa this evening! Sparkling personality and happy smiles showed me that I had her full attention to myself. She packed up my two pound box and helped me to find exactly what I wanted to avoid the almonds that I cannot consume. She packed my box heavy as I'd requested and even treated me to samples. Employees like Lisa are exactly why I spend my money at See's and often give family and colleagues gifts purchased from this location even though it's a sixty mile round trip. Thank you, Lisa! I'm really mixed on this review, I usually love coming to this See's, especially because the older gentleman that works there is absolutely fantastic! But today was a little different. I went in to get my usual candy bag, and a young man was working there. He was nice enough, but when I went to start picking out my candy, I saw a bug crawling around the display box. I mentioned this to him and he just said not to worry that those were not for sale, but I was mostly worried about whether there would be more bugs where actual chocolate was. Either way, I do like this store but unfortunately due to the bugs I can't give 5 stars. read more

Went here yesterday and the woman there was not very friendly which was surprising as I've been here before a while ago and everyone has always been very pleasant. I could overlook the attitude, but when we got home and later that evening I was going to have a chocolate caramel called a milk butter chew but it turned out to be a milk butterscotch square. Nothing like what I ordered plus the free sample she gave me was exactly what I was ordering. Very disappointed to have the wrong candy considering I just spent $85.00!!!!!! Now we have candies we're not that fond of especially my wife. Plus we got quite a few of them and now we're stuck. This product is so expensive you want what you want and what you ordered. She obviously was not listening or she just didn't care. Very disappointing. I want to update this review as I was contacted by a See's executive who was very sorry for my experience and wanted to make it right. She offered to give us the correct candies and I picked them up today. I'm extremely impressed by not only the assistance given this situation, but the speed of the contact and the willingness to help correct it. So, I felt the need to modify my review. read more

Wow, hadn't been inside a See's Candies in years but a gift card brought me in! Upon walking in, that familiar chocolate aroma hit me & it was like I was transported back to the simpler, carefree days. They've still got all their traditional faves, soft centers, nuts & chews, those lollies and plenty of new stuff. The gal helping us out was in her See's uniform (I don't know what it is about it, but I love it) and was so sweet. When we checked out I remembered the samples they would give customers but knew because of Covid, they wouldn't but lo & behold, See's came through with some individually wrapped candies as samples!!! So impressed with their customer service. I called this Carmel Mountain store after our employee purchased 10 boxes for our clients at another store that was located on his regular route. The other store accidentally wrapped the chocolates in Easter paper before covering it with the checkered print we usually use for our branding. Our clients come from different spiritual backgrounds and we simply could not give out those boxes with the potentially offensive holiday wrapping paper. I called the store that was close to our office (Carmel Mountain) and explained the situation. Without hesitation, they told me to bring the boxes in and have them re-wrapped at no cost. They finished it in 15 minutes and 20 minutes later our first box was out for delivery to our client. Thank you to the staff for being so pleasant and helpful. Who doesn't love chocolate!? This location is small but packs tons of flavor. It's easy to get in and out of and their staff are very friendly and willing to give samples. Christmas is the busiest time to visit and expect to wait a bit longer than usual simply due to the volume of chocolate that people are buying for gifts. My favorite item in store is the cigar. If you plan on purchasing chocolate in bulk, buy vouchers from Costco! You'll save a couple bucks. Also their peanut brittle is damn good. Can't wait to get back and get my sugar fix. read more

I only come here when my sis has a craving for these chocolates AND she has to buy teacher gifts for the holidays to suck up to them (I kid). This See's is located right next to Oscar's (sorry, I'm old school and still call them Oscar's ok). The interior is impeccably clean and organized. Sis never buys stuff here without getting their gift card deal from Costco beforehand. Good news is that there's a Costco located right up the next street. Literally. So if you anticipate on buying a ton load of See's candy, try calling Costco first to see if they sell the discounted See's gift cards so you can maximize the best deal when you're visiting a See's store. Even though we always buy stuff here (we don't just stop by and window shop), we all feel this location is a bit stingy giving out samples for some reason. Regardless, sis usually feels there's a great selection of thank you/birthday/baby gifts you can buy here. There's plenty of parking right up to the storefront so that's another plus. read more
