I live a few minutes from this place, and LOVE it. I dine in or take out a few times a month. The food is delicious and very fairly priced. My go to dinner is chicken pad tai, which is amazing. I often come here with my boyfriend, and we each order a glass of wine, share an appetizer, and each get an entree, and even with tip it comes to less than $40. My girlfriend and I frequented this restaurant when it first opened. We go back every so often because the sushi is the best value in the area. The owner has let us try some of their specialties like their popcorn tuna and their fresh U-10 scallop. Be sure to try some of the special maki rolls. You won't find flavors like this elsewhere. I've been here four times now, and can honestly say that I will not be going back. First off, it took more than 15 minutes after being seated for the server to come by and see us. We were promptly greeted with..."You ready to order?". After ordering, she immediately disappeared for another 15-20 minutes (without bringing our drinks). The Miso soup was luke warm, the order of plates was ignored, and the beer wasn't even cold. We later realized that the server was doubling as a cook in the back kitchen. In addition to the lack of service, the sushi chef was going out to the tables to pick up credit cards and cash to help cash out some of the tabs. The problem with this is that he NEVER CHANGED HIS GLOVES...EVER!!! This is a MAJOR health code violation. We all know how dirty money is, and to have this guy handling cash and credit cards, then going right back behind the sushi bar to grab a piece of raw tuna to cut is just absolutely horrifying! So many good things with this place. The delivery is super quick! My favorite of all time is the crab rangoon!! The best I've ever tried!! The go to dish is the pineapple fried rice. My significant other and I love Sei Bar and frequent the Medford location which always has great service and food. We decided to try the Everett location after moving. After being seated we were ignored for 15+ minutes until we eventually just got up and left. Horrible service, will never go back to this location. read more

Fantastic! There's not much else to say about Sei Bar than "perfect". The good is mouth watering and delicious. Cooked to perfection and made with care. I eat here and feel true happiness. This is the greatest Thai food I have ever consumed and most likely will ever consume. Great sushi, amazing preparation and presentation. A hidden gem in Everett. I've only eaten here once, but it has quickly shot up to one of my top sushi restaurants. This food came so fast, we were so excited. The food was atrocious though. The two orders of pad Thai were legit piles of noodles with ZERO flavor. The chicken satay was plain chicken with a gritty flavorless peanut sauce. It was like they forgot to add the pad Thai paste to the noodles. What a waste of $30. read more

This delivery order has been one of the worst I have experienced. After placing an order I was told food would be delivered within 1 hour. After 1 hour and 25 minutes I gave a call to just get an estimate to which I was told it was on the way. After another 30 minutes I called again to which the man told me I could cancel my order. I asked if he could contact the deliver driver and ask how long until he arrived. The man on the phone hung up on me. I immediately called back and when I explained who I was, I was hung up on again. After calling another time, the man yelled at me saying my food would be there in 5 minutes. 2 and a half hours later I got my food. read more

First of all, this is a very good sushi for the money. The employees are very friendly. As for the size of the place, they do really well with what they have. Before Sei Bar was at this location, there was an excellent Italian place that was there for years. When the Italian place went out of business, Sei Bar went there, I think mainly as a way to "network" out. Since their bigger location is in Medford, this location seems to be more for a delivery/pick-up place. Rather than having to go to Medford for their food, this location makes it possible for customers from other locations, like mine in Melrose, to get good sushi. I have been there many times and I always get good food and very good service. read more

I Just had to walk out of this place because of the worst service I have ever received in any establishment by far. I walk in and proceed to grab a menu with little help from the guy who is picking up the phone and making sushi while I sit there for 10 to 15 minutes with still no help as a party of 2 sit there who are waiting to be helped be the same guy. We had some friends over, and decided to have takeout from Sei Bar instead of BBQ. Everyone loved the food, the sush, sashimi, maki was so fresh and tasty. The appetizers were amazing, we had chicken wing, sushi pizza, beef pancake wrap. Kids loved the stir fried udon and beef teriyaki. They have a huge menu with good verities.
