Don't come here for a group bday dinner. They'll overcharge you for SHARED plates. You don't even get to have your own entree. I never been to a place where there's a pre fix menu and you still have to share plates? Tf. Basically 220 per person for SHARED plates. You're better off going to a 5 star restaurant for the price. We was a group of 12. My husband paid 420 dollars on us two just for me to eat a few pieces of meat and shared dessert. I had a sprite cause I couldn't drink. The math doesn't add up. I didn't like any of the other shared plates. 400 for Chinese food that you can get at your regular Chinese food spot. Just walked out this place . This place use to be called jimmy's and it still give me the same feeling. I just hope it has a different manager, the last time I was here (when it was jimmy's the manager was so rude to me , I even wrote a review while I was sitting at the table and he respond to my review while he was eyeing me across the room. So I came to Sei Less for dinner Saturday night with my wife and cousins. I dropped them off to go inside before me while I parked my truck. I go inside and tell the hostess my last name and that my wife was already seated I just needed to know where. She started off with the most dry, unpleasant and condescending tone, she told me to go stand by the bar. So because she didn't give an explanation I asked why am I standing at the bar when my wife is already seated. She then proceeded to tell me that my wife wasn't seated even though I showed her the text that said otherwise . New spot but they're on point! Service was great. Food was rolling out in minutes, no real wait at all. Everything tasted amazing, from the apps to the entrees I have ZERO complaints. The price point was way too high for the quality of food. The prices would've been fine a better restaurant, but for this kind of place it just didn't make sense. I ordered the chicken dumplings, and my friend ordered the shrimp appetizer. Both were not really good. I don't eat seafood, but my friend said the shrimp didn't taste freshly made. My dumplings were just not tasty. For our mains we ordered noodles with chicken and veggies, and steak. The noodle dish tasted like something I had at Ollie's uptown, just basic. Could perhaps be my mistaken expectations, but a relaxing dinner experience this is not; I should have realized this when the welcome (neon) sign at the foyer is a quote from Drake. The bar is an obnoxiously loud combination of unruly guests yelling along to the sports games being played on the tv screens above the bar and the very appalling rap that's projected through the speakers throughout the venue. New Asian Fusion restaurant in Midtown. Super expensive and the servings were average. Very expensive cocktails that seemed to have a lot more ice than actual beverage, but still good and strong. We got the crispy rice, chicken lettuce wraps and the spicy kung pao chicken. Great ambiance and service, although it did seem way too expensive for the price paid. I certainly did. I couldn't speak over the loud music. And no I am not sensitive to noise and work in a concert venue so that being said my goodness this was LOUD! The service was VERY good. Hostess to waiter was fantastic. Food was just ok. Not a lot of options if you don't eat meat or fish. No tofu dishes. But my husband who does eat meat and fish said everything he ordered was just ok. Especially for the price. Because it's so loud people are literally screaming and yelling over the tables surrounding you and it's hard not to be overwhelmed by all the other conversations. If you don't mind that it feels like a really loud nightclub (100 decibels) then this might be perfect to get the night going. I enjoy some high priced Asian Fusion food but there are some serious point deductions for me for this new place. I was really excited to come here but not so much as the day went on. The ambience was very nice, lots of room throughout the floor. Spacing could be a little better but I understand the business of maximizing your space. As we were seated at our table (table for 3) We looked down and couldn't believe they have a printout for a menu . This wasn't a good look in my opinion at all, especially as elegant and nice the trailers and pictures look online I wasn't expecting to have a paper printout menu. We order our food which didn't take long to come and one of my orders which was the chicken dumpling (steamed) was pretty much a pig in a blanket. A Chicken hot dog in a steam flour wrapping . The meat wasn't minced or broken down in any form like most dumplings are... this was literally the worst dumpling I've ever had. They should consider renaming that dish. We also had some Jumbo Prawns (They Were Not Jumbo), Crab Fried Rice & Spring Roll. The food was good but I don't think it was worth the price. The best feature for me was the drinks. The Side Car was on point! I could have that drink that all day. Willing to try desert but we were informed that they don't have a desert menu and that point I took it as my cue to get the check and get outta there. Overall I was disappointed with some of the food and lack of standards in certain departments. There was a gentleman taking pictures so we're were able to make the best of it and capture the moment for and Additional $25 (separate from the bill). At least it came in a glass frame. Maybe I will give this establishment another try later down the line, hopefully they will be fully settled and can make necessary changes. read more

No more no less. The ambiance is definitely nice and photo/selfie worthy. Very intimate for a date night, friends get together or a celebration but the food didn't match the price if you know what I mean. I will say the appetizers were good. I ordered lobster spring roll = THE BOMB my friends ordered boa buns, rock shrimp tempura, pork fried dumplings and crab croquettes which were also good. My friends enjoyed their apps. Now for the entree I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with lychee, it was ok. One of my friends ordered, the salmon with noodles which was good. She enjoyed her entree. My other friends ordered filet mignon and black pepper shrimp which were also ok. The entree came with your choice of fried rice or noodles. Their vegetable fried rice was really good and my friends enjoyed their noodles as well. The service was definitely amazing! Amelia was our server, she was great! The drinks were good as well!
