Although they are a bit removed from the French Quartier, they really are a must place to visit for the best crawfish boil in New Orleans. Soooooo Good. The location of this place is a bit challenging to find in Harahan and it certainly qualifies as a fantastic NOLA dive spot along with their next door seafood market. The service here is very friendly and down to earth with the staff making sure that you have everything you need to enjoy your meal. They have a large and fantastic list of appetizers that can become a meal into themselves (like the Eggplant Harahan, seared tuna, BBQ shrimp, the fried green tomatoes, and the crab cakes) and the only thing I'm not a big fan of is their seafood gumbo that they add sausage too (and that's just a personal preference that I don't like sausage in my SEAFOOD gumbo). This place has some great raw oysters, good boiled seafood, great po boys and fried entrees. The only bad thing about this joint is they don't have fresh brewed iced tea and only sell bottled drinks. I have been looking forward to eating here for so long. We came here on a Thursday night and the inside was pretty pack but we were seated pretty quickly. The inside is definitely a lot smaller than it looks from the outside. We were seated at a table that was right by the take out spot with VERY LITTLE room for customers to pick up their order. Pretty awkward seating. After staring at there menu prior to coming there, I knew what I wanted (rock n roll poboy). Unfortunately the poboy was way too big to eat so I just used a fork to eat the shrimps and avocado off the top of the bread. My boyfriend order the totem pole but it wouldn't be something I would order again. Good sauce but everything else was eh ok. The highlight of the night was when our server surprised us with their fried king cake bread pudding. Now that was the highlight of our dinner. Finally gave this place a try. The food were good but I wouldn't say it was the best boiled seafood. The crawfish were good sizes but I felt like it lacked flavor. The boiled crabs weren't full but did had lumps of delicious meat. Raw oysters were really dirty, inside and out. Looking at it kind of made me not want it. The thing I did liked was the seafood platter. Seithers special, it was called. Consisted of fish, shrimp, oysters, softshell crab and potato wedges for $33. If you're ever in New Orleans and looking for some killer Po'Boys you have to stop at Seither's seafood. We came here during brunch hours since it was relatively closer to our hotel and considering the parking & waiting situation in French quarters we thought to fill ourselves before heading there. From outside it was rather like a Caribbean Shack.. the vibes, the oyster shells in the parking lot and the music took me back to my St Lucian days. Very casual & chill. Once seated, the menu on the other hand was like an up and coming Chicago restaurant and so were the prices. Our server was full of energy and guided us along the menu and the specials really well. She even brought me some blackened seasoning to try since I didn't know what that was. We ordered the onion ring tower- duh! & two diff Po'Boys. One was a special contest winner and came with blackened fish (which upon request was fried) and the other one had korean influence with loads of shrimp. First of all the Onion ring tower was to die for!! Please order that. The Po'Boys were crazy good too and beautiful to look at. I did however liked the fried fish one wayyy more. Now, In spite of spectacular food and great service I do deduct one star since they had issues with their credit card machine and we weren't told about that before ordering. If you didn't knoop the place was there you'd drive right past it- we almost did! My aunt, sister, and I had looked at the menu and knew we were going to order quite a bit of food. Both were amazing. Be sure to ask for extra Eel sauce for dipping. We also ordered a side of the Cajun street corn. SO FREAKING GOOD! My sister ordered the crab trap pasta. I cannot believe you can get such a massive portion of pasta, crab fingers, shrimp, and a whole soft shell crab for $22! For dessert we all split the pineapple upside down bread pudding. So so delicious! For the amount of food we got the price wasn't bad at all and the food was outstanding! I would recommend this place a million times over! We ordered a dozen char grilled oysters, and gulf fish filets for me, and a Delacroix Nacho plate for my friend. The entrees came out first, and I ate the potatoes first then started on the fish. Both were very tasty, but I kinda got a little full on the fried food. The Delacroix nachos had house made chips that were thin and very good, there was a crab dip and blackened fish with some shrimp tossed around. It was kind of bland. The blackened fish had no spice at all and was a very small piece. All in all, I would skip that. It's a good idea, but wasn't executed well. The oysters were large and had good flavor. As it's off a side street. Its colorful enough. That once you see it, it's like a beacon of sobriety for a drunkard. There is outdoor seating, which is right next to the car parking spots, better hope people backing out , know you're sitting there. Inside is very limited seating. We were told we could go next door and find a table there. Next door, seemed like a oversized closet. Hard describe, it seemed like the back of the kitchen, but also where all the back alley dealings go on. Service time!!: our server was very friendly and prompt. Our menus looked like they have been through the ringer. This is definitely one of those hidden dives. Take to note: the online website menu is NOT the menu we were given. Apparently, the owner has been locked out of his website, for some unknown reason. The current menu is 1/3 of the menu you see on the website. This limits your choices. We got the "Tower of OnionRings", it was more of a short stack of disappointment. Onionrings were good though. Order was smaller than I thought they would be. My girlfriend had the "Totempole". Someone was not in their right mind when they created this. It looked like a kindergarten science project. I wouldn't recommend it. I had 2lbs of crawfish and the 3 amigo fried platter of oysters, shrimp and fish. It was okay, not for the price they charge though. My friends also had the 3 amigos and a pasta dish. Pasta dish was a nay. Overall, this is a below average place for us. Dont think we would come back, but I wouldn't tell someone to not come here . The restaurant is located in an area you wouldn't expect these masterpieces would be at but it's worth the drive over. I always make sure to order the Eggplant Harahan, it's something you probably have never tried. The sauce and the crab add great flavors to it and it's a great plate to share. If you want more variety, the Shrimp OMG will do that with the different sauces they put all over. This time I ordered the Rock N' Roll Po-Boy and it did not disappoint. A bit messy and hard to eat but well worth it at the end. Finished up our meal with the fried bread pudding and it was delicious. Found this place on yelp and by the pictures couldn't wait to go. The setup they have so really nice, the outdoor seating is pretty and they have a nice little stage I'm assuming they have bands play on occasionally which is great. One thing I think would be a good idea is string lighting because unless you're up against the building it gets a little dark. But anyway, we ordered the Rock N Roll poboy and tuna appetizer. We waiting about 15 minutes to place a drink order but there were only about 6 tables occupied, we didn't mind though we weren't in a rush. When we got the food I was immediately taken back by how different it looked from the pictures. There was barely any sauce and any sesame seeds. It looked like a regular shrimp poboy and it was. We asked for more sauce but ended up waiting a while and didn't get any so we decided to eat it as is because the mosquitoes were getting bad and we were ready to go. Neither one of us liked it, it lacked flavor which I'm assuming was because there was pretty much no sauce or cucumber. Just avocado and shrimp. The appetizer was the same, not much sauce and not much sauce which left it kind of flavorless.
