The fries were fresh and crispy like mcdonald's fries, so if you have picky kids then they would like it. i recommend trying the beef brisket, pico de gallo, corn cheese and the tofu soup for sure. We always take menu C option and we get all variety of meat and side dishes. This is a nice AYCE alternative. It is smaller and more low-key compared to other KBBQ AYCE spots. I came to celebrate a friend's birthday, and they do take reservations! The banchan was limited but was decent. It's also nice that you press a button for service, but it happened a few twice during the meal when we pressed the button and help took a while to come. They also do not pick up empty plates as much as other spots, so we ended up piling plates and bowls. The servers were very nice though! The food was good and standard for an AYCE. Was in the OC for a Disney weekend, and decided we wanted KBBQ for dinner! This spot seemed to have decent prices and reviews so we checked it out! I personally really liked their side dishes (especially the potato) and the servers were also quite attentive. They always switched out our grills without us having to flag them down, and also refilled our banchan quickly. There are service bells on the table as well, so you can get a hold of the servers quickly. I didn't think the meat was anything too special, especially the teriyaki sliced pork belly, which was quite literally teriyaki sauce sprinkled on pork belly  I enjoyed the marinated bulgogi and brisket though, and they even gave us a free box of ice cream drumsticks for dessert! read more

She gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. She returned with drinks, salad, and condiments and took our orders. Out of all the AYCE kbbq in the area this is by the far the best when it comes to meat quality. Service was quick and attentive, and I really can't say enough about how high quality everything was. I really enjoyed the authenticity of this place. The sides they give you when you sit down are delicious, I really loved the potato salad. The meats were delicious and great portions. For every 2 people you can get 1 ribeye steak and or was really flavorful. My favorites include beef bulgogi and brisket. Came here for Father's Day dinner as dad likes Korean BBQ and I wanted to try a new place besides the places in Rowland Heights so I found Seoul BBQ. They offer 2 levels of AYCE options and we went with Menu A which is $26.99. I would compare this place with Buga Korean BBQ but slightly pricier but they have a larger list of food options beyond the meats like steamed eggs, corn and cheese, spicy tofu casserole and kim-chi rice box. To my surprise, they offered spicy popcorn chicken as part of the ban chan. They were understaffed on Sunday night with only 2 servers and 1 busboy. Service was not horrible despite the lack of staff but they could definitely use more people. The place is about average size for Korean BBQ in the area. It is off to the side of the shopping center that has the Goodwill store at Brea Canyon and Golden Springs. Best to enter off Brea Canyon. You won't leave hungry that's for sure. Really disappointing experience here. The meat quality was mediocrely poor. We ordered the chuck tail and rib fingers, but both cuts looked terrible. The steak had almost little to no marbling and tasted watered down, like it had been sitting in a bowl of water to defrost overtime. The rib fingers and chuck tail looked like they were blended before they were plated. Instead of clean cuts of meat, everything looked so unappetizing as some meats were swimming in a pool of their own fluid. We also ordered ramen as well but it was extremely salty at the taste. It seemed like there wasn't enough water in the broth, so the seasoning and spices weren't diluted properly and drying the noodles when picked up. The spicy thin-sliced pork belly was also disappointing. The texture was strange itself as if it felt like as if i was eating toothpaste, since the sauce had a similar thickness while having a pasty consistency. The corn cheese tasted like pure sugar and was extremely soggy. But to give credit where it's due, the kimchi was fresh and the japchae was actually really good, better than other kbbq places I had. I did honestly want to have really high hopes for this place. I even drove two hours to try it just to feel gutted in the end. I saw the 4.4-star rating on Yelp with mostly positive reviews which gave confidence, maybe it was just a bad day for the restaurant. Unfortunately, the experience was soo depressing it upset my stomach and the service was just alright. Sadly, after this mournful event I won't be coming back. read more

They have two different types of grills, I believe. One with a propane burner; or the ones you see at other kbbq places with the in table grill. Upon sitting, we went straight into eating. The meats were solid and the flying tiger beef belly was a favorite for my friends. The vibes were great. I feel like this is a "hidden gem" of Diamond Bar :) I've been here 3 times, and I would say that the price for the kbbq is pretty cheap compared to the others around the area For $24.99 you get a variety of choices! My favorite is 1. Brisket 2. Bulgogi 3. The flying Tiger beef. I usually order the steamed egg, tofu, and corn cheese on the side! I went today (Sunday) they opened at 12, and it was pretty full! But we didn't have to wait long (I don't think I've ever really had to wait for a table before) which is awesome. What I really came here for is to compliment the staff (Paul) was the ONLY one serving and there was one large party, and about 6 tables full of people with 2-4 guests at each. He was busy but super polite and did not miss any of our orders. We did not have to wait long for the meat to come in. Great job Paul! The quality of the meat is good, and service is quick and efficient. We had the A menu and the variety was enough to keep it interesting. The banchan was solid, with the kimchi being noteworthy. The steamed egg was also exceptional. Plenty of parking as it is located in a strip mall. Came here on a Sunday evening for my mom's birthday. Didn't wait long to be seated which was nice, but overall the service was inattentive and slow. Our waiter would seldom check on us and when we ordered they would get part of our dishes wrong. The place wasn't even busy when we first arrived, so I'm lost as to how we were left unattended so often. In terms of food, it was alright, but it was nothing special and I've certainly had better kbbq meat from the SGV and OC area. Came on a Thursday night. It wasn't packed but it was starting to fill up although the restaurant is pretty small especially for KBBQ. Went with Menu B. Ordered brisket, beef belly, flying tiger beef, garlic pork belly, marinated short ribs and beef tongue. For the sides, we got steamed egg & spicy beef soup. Meats: decent quality. The thinner cuts are sliced a bit differently from other KBBQ establishments. The flying tiger beef is beef belly with some sort of sauce on it. It wasn't spectacular but it is something I'd order again. Very minimal amount of garlic on the pork belly and not pungent at all either. Sides: the spicy beef soup wasn't spicy at all but I also consider myself a spice lord so umm :') It did have a couple chunks of beef in it which is amazeballs. The onions and cilantro were diced up like the kind you'd put on tacos. The pico de gallo was on the menu but it was served as a banchan dish instead. Loved both onion dishes, just wished the onions&cilantro were sliced instead. Didn't see any vegetables like zucchini or mushrooms on the menu so we're not sure if they have those or not Service: only 2 guys were working at the time. You can tell they were struggling a bit. Every time we tried to ask for something, they would leave right away after we said 1 thing and we weren't even done yet! It was a bit frustrating but also funny at the same time. The brisket took forever to come out. It was the first thing we ordered but came out during our 2nd round of meats. My guy ordered a steam egg but we had to place another order towards the end to finally get it. We don't know where the first one went but the bill did list 2 steamed eggs :') Gotta be yolking us! Drinks: servers were really attentive when the little water pitcher thing was empty. Didn't take them long to bring us more water. The sodas are sold by the can so no refills here! Since they have other interesting things to try like the itaewon curry chicken or volcano ramen, I wouldn't mind coming back again to give them another try. We sat down and ordered what had ONLY been our second round of sides, the server with a black hat on didn't even let us finish ordering when he said, "anything else? Anything else?" He dint come in to check on us until he saw that we felt a certain way about it. We didn't feel comfortable enough to order anything after that, which sucks because you come to eat and enjoy your time and food, and the server himself made us feel unwelcome and like we were bothering him. All we wanted was a refill on sides. Then it felt like he just wanted to mock us because he came and asked if we wanted anything, we asked for more kimchi and he never came to give it to us. Basically kept ordering #1-4 (beef brisket, marinated beef bulgogi, flying tiger beef, beef belly). I really really liked the FLYING TIGER BEEF!! It's marinated with some kind of sauce which IS SO GOOD!!!!!! I've never had anything SO DELICIOUS like that in a Kbbq place before!! You must try it!!! There were 2 waiters helping us with our orders. The waiter was ok with us 1/2ing our order of meats. They automatically changed the grill when it was burnt. They came to ask us what we wanted. Very attentive because later on during dinner there were more people who came. This place is really good. For the quality and the price... can't beat it!!!
