I came here for lunch specifically to try jajangmyeon after reading about the dish in the New York Times (https://www.nytimes.com/2025/04/11/dining/jjajangmyeon-korean-noodle-dish.html) and seeing it repeatedly pop up in my Facebook feed. Living on the South Shore means Korean food options are limited, so when personal errands brought me to Stoughton, this immediately went to the top of my list. The jajangmyeon lived up to the hype. Springy wheat noodles with a deeply flavorful black bean sauce that hit the perfect balance of sweet and salty. Comfort food with real depth. I also enjoyed my steamed pork dumplings along with the banchan which included standards like kimchi along spicy radish and pickled daikon, which was an absolute revelation! Sign me up for more of that. The restaurant crowd was primarily locals, and there was a constant stream of takeout orders, which says a lot about how well-loved this place is. The space itself is nice and welcoming, although the area near the host stand and toward the open kitchen is a little cluttered during peak times. I'm guessing they don't have a lot of storage in back. If you have been curious about jajangmyeon, or if you are craving Korean food south of Boston, this is absolutely worth the trip.

Seoul Gourmet replaced Su Su Sushi. There are not many Korean restaurants around unless you go to Allston. The prices are friendly, but the food is hit or miss. Seafood Scallion Pancake ($15) The pancake was thin and only had squid. Usually, there are shrimp and mussels, but the price is definitely lower. Vegetable Tempura ($13) A variety of vegetables that included broccoli, sweet potatoes, zucchini, and pumpkin. Seoul Fried Chicken ($14 Half) I would prefer BB.Q chicken. The chicken wings are crispy but not juicy at all. Galbitang ($17) I loved the soup, clean, lots of ribs, and vermicelli. If you take all the ingredients out, less than half of the bowl is soup. Definitely will be back because of the soup. Pork Gukbap ($15) The meat was dried and had no fat. I took it all out after one bite. The gukbap was okay, but it could be better. Service is slow, only two waitresses who are Vietnamese and unfamiliar with the Korean dishes.

This place is spacious with authentic Korean food. We had seafood pancake, kalbitang, shrimp fried rice & boneless bbq kalbi, everything is flavorful, even my kids liked it, even though it's well seasoning but it's too oily. The staff are friendly and attentive. It was empty & we were the only table there. So one thing that really bothering me is there were about 4 tables without being clean, it's all a mess, and we happened to sit next to a messy table full of dirty plates & cups, and no one bother to clean it up the whole time we were there.

Since they are new, expect slow service until they can get into a rhythm. Staff are friendly and food has lots of flavors. It was packed on a Friday night and they offer free soft drinks from a fridge (just have to get up and get them yourself, which is cool!). The restaurant is spacious once they open up the other side. They are still decorating. We ordered 7 dishes to try and everything was delish! Forgot to take a photo of the bibimbap. Definitely will come back to try more dishes for sure.

Authentic Korean restaurant in the South Shore that serves gukbap?! What a hidden shocking gem. The grilled mackerel was tender & fleshy. The Pork Gukbap was also a star. The broth was so hearty and savory. You know it's good when you hear a group of Ahjussis "ahh-ed," after the first sip. If that's not a solid stamp of approval, idk what is. Very friendly and welcoming staff although service was a little bit slow. It was full house on a Thursday night with short staff though. They gave us free Banana milk at the end as part of a promotion. Definitely coming back and looking forward to try more dishes!

Wife and I went during the soft opening. We were very impressed for a soft opening and arriving at 8pm on a Tuesday. Staff were friendly and attentive. The inside still had some finishing touches but was tastefully done furnishings and a good mix of booths and tables. Tea was offered and included. The pancake and bibimbap were chock full of a variety and quality items. The pancake, for instance, had big chunks of squid and the bibimbap had a variety of vegetables in addition to the beef.

My husband and I went on a date night and I was in the mood for some spicy food. We happen to stumble on this gem. I have to say that the food was good. The restaurant is intimate and family friendly which I love and the food was well made. Customer service was great and they were very accommodating. I would definitely go back if I'm in the neighborhood. Kudos

Oh My Gosh. The service here is 11/10, their hospitality is unreal. The food was amazing. The servers were kind and attentive. The restaurant was clean and the decor was nice. The menu had tons of options as well. The stew even had a warmer to keep it warm as you ate it. Overall an amazing experience and I'd go back again and again! The only note is is that the food is spicy but so yummy so just be careful haha

Great food, really nice decor and attentive service. We're really glad to see a high quality Korean place in Stoughton. This area is developing well.

Still soft opening now and not too many people on a Wednesday afternoon. The space itself is very clean and remodeled from the last place, nice and roomy! The food was fantastic! I don't need to go into Allston for Korean food! Like what?!?!? Didn't try everything but the couple of Korean dishes, they were flavorful! I love their menu also have items only a few other Korean places might have! Can't wait to go back and try their gukbap and samgyetang!

Once we were seated, we were able to look through their expansive menu. They have a lot of great Indian dishes, many of which I was familiar with, and others I was not familiar with, which was actually kind of nice. I decided on the Andhra chicken, which was a new dish I've never tried. The chicken comes with a spicy curry sauce that isn't too hot, but that has enough heat to keep the dish interesting. Of course, with many Indian dishes, it also came with a large side of rice, and was more than enough to fill me up for a single meal. Overall, the meal was a great, as was most of the experience. The only downside was that our waiter never really actually spoke to us. While he would stop by frequently to refill water and remove plates/silverware, he never said anything. I wasn't entirely sure if it was just his personality or if there was perhaps a language barrier that may have existed, but either way, the experience was all around pleasant with the exception of that.

Just delicious food. Been here many many times and will likely come many many more!! Service and…read moreambiance were good.

The platter contained two beef ribs that had no meat on top and a little meat around the sides.. There were two St. Louis ribs that should've had more meat on them.. There were three small baby back ribs that had the most meat of any of them. The platter also came with beans which were half contained in a water sauce. The ribs and the beans were doused with a very spicy sauce. It also came with coleslaw, which was dry and cornbread, which was mediocre. My husband had the chicken and brisket platter. It had the same spicy sauce. They came with the smallest sweet potato. I've seen in a long time and also the dry coleslaw and mediocre cornbread. To eat your food there was the cheapest plastic knife, and fork. The fork could only contain about three beans at a time. The knife was so bad that my husband took out his pocket knife to cut his food. If you wanted something to drink, you had to purchase it and that included bottled water. There were other beverages that I didn't recognize and there was no Coke or Pepsi. They were known napkins only rough, brownish paper on a roll that you pulled off pieces. At least there was a bathroom to wash your hands. We will never return

We ordered two soul food plates -- 1 meat and 2 sides for $19 each. I went with the garlic and herb wings, and my wife got the hot honey wings. Both came with about six wings each, and they were so flavorful and meaty! For sides, we both chose collard greens and mac & cheese. The collard greens were seasoned perfectly, and the mac and cheese was rich and delicious -- definitely comfort food done right. Each meal also came with cornbread, which for me was the only miss of the night; it didn't have much flavor and didn't seem super fresh, but to be fair, we went around 6 PM, so it might've just been late in the day. We tried two desserts -- the pound cake and the peach cobbler. The pound cake was a bit dry, but that peach cobbler? Amazing. Sweet, warm, and full of flavor. We also got a side plate of fried catfish, and wowww... that was a showstopper! Crispy, fresh, and perfectly seasoned -- I'd honestly make the 30-minute drive again just for that catfish alone. All in all, this spot deserves way more attention. You can tell the food is made with love, and with a few small tweaks, it could easily be one of the best soul food restaurants around. Definitely worth checking out!
