Yummy jjajangmyeon black bean noodles - chewy noodles and lots of onions and sauce. Little watery and salty but not sweet so it was good for me. Seafood soft tofu soup was mild and had good flavor. Kimchi was legit, ample amount of rice and bulgogi chicken was flavorful. Everything came out piping hot. Located in the busy food court at Lotte and waiting for seats like a hawk. The place had just the right amount of wait time for the food. The spot was clean and simple. The cashier was nice and informative. Making sure that the pork in the jjajangmyeon was ok - which is fine because they're big enough to pick out and the seafood tofu soup was at their medium spice level - it was pretty mild in my opinion.

Great spot in the food court at Lotte Food Market. This is my second time dining at this spot. Last time I went, I tried their blood sausage and some kind of spicy fried chicken dish. Both were very delicious. This time, I got the combo of soondobo and kalbi. I got a buzzer from the woman at the counter waited not too long until my order was ready. The soondobo came out bubbling hot and I ordered medium spicy. It was packed with flavor and had just the right amount of heat. It was actually the best I have had. The kalbi came with white rice, and a tiny bonachón of black bean, and kimchi. It was a decent portion but the flavor was lacking. It was a decently cooked meat but it was missing that signature kalbi flavor like it wasn't marinated and grilled. I saw someone else mention the same issue on their review so it doesn't seem like a one off thing. Nevertheless, food was tasty, healthy, and fresh and I would be back to try something else.

Located in the food court of lotte market, Seoul soon tofu is a popular spot for Korean food. We got the beef soon tofu and it was delicious! The food came out pretty quickly and steaming hot and we got a hefty amount of white rice to go along with it. It was the perfect level of spicy for us and we loved the kimchi and cucumber sides.

This was my first time having soft tofu stew, and it did not disappoint. All the ingredients tasted fresh and it was full of flavor. This was exactly what I wanted on a chilly day. Located inside a market it was a convenient place to stop for lunch before grocery shopping. They were very nice when I ordered and even asked me what I wanted my spice level at. I would definitely order from here again.

The most authentic Korean place within. Tampa Lotte food court. Their soft tofu/soon tofu really hits the spot and love that they are generous with protein toppings.

Located inside the food court in Lotte Market in Orlando. This is a must stop for me even in the area. I wish they had these in Tampa!! We came in when they opened which was 11am and it soon started to get busy. I got the combo with Soondubu tofu and bulgogi and hubs got the brown noodles. The bulgogi lacked flavor but the Soondubu was delicious. Hubs noodles were also delicious! Portion sizes were large enough for us to share. Seating is in the cafeteria area and open to where you want to sit. Once you're done eating you leave your tray at the designated location for each restaurant located in the food court.

After a long drive, we were grateful that this restaurant inside Lotte plaza market was still open We were starving and were craving soup and something homemade. This place was great! Their tofu stew was very tasty and the soup I got was light and felt very comforting since it was raining outside. Idk soup always sounds good when it's cold and rainy lol. The staff was kind as well and provided us with kimchi and pickled vegetables as well. The place itself was within the market's food court so there were a lot of tables to choose from and sit at. I would love to check out this place again as well at the other food places within the market :)

I was at Lotte Market and was craving Korean sliced thin spare ribs. I got the Korean spare ribs and the tofu soup. Enjoy the the ribs, very good and hit the spot. Also the tofu soup was pretty good, lots of flavor and spice to the soup, which I enjoyed. Pricing is a bit expensive.

(2/6/2024) Came by to get some groceries at Lotte and a weekday lunch. Love getting all the variety of foods from the best food court around. The Soft Tofu Stew with Seafood was literally boiling hot, deliciously salty, great on rice. Got the Ttebokki with cheese (an overwhelming amount of cheese) and a Kim Bap (which you can actually just buy in the prepared foods section of the grocery store). The best kind of "fast" food you can get.

Spicy tofu soup kimchi / Spicy pork

I always get the Spicy tofu soup/Spicy pork combo. The spicy soup is usually seafood but I change it to kimchi instead. The soup is always a hit, very flavorful and spice is up to my standards. For spicy pork though, I think over the years they've made their spicy pork not spicy anymore.. I don't know if it's because other customers complained it was too spicy but that's why it's called spicy pork! I hope they make it as spicy as it was before they changed it, now the pork isn't even red at all. They've changed the sides from beans to different vegetables that I like way better! The side of rice always comes with it too. I'll always be coming back as it's my favorite tofu soup in the area. But I still want to see them bring back spicy pork to actually be spicy.

    Lunchbox special $12.99
    Roberta K.

I am never disappointed. A must stop when I am grocery shopping at Lotte! I usually always get a tofu stew but this time I happened to see the lunch box special. It is $12.99 which is a great price for all that's included. It comes with bulgogi, one mandu, japchea, a couple pieces of pickled radish, 2 kimbap pieces and rice. My only thing I would approve in is the only option to add spice was pepper flakes. Which worked perfectly fine to spice it all up but I would have preferred something else.

As i was atriving in Orlando, I was determined to get some Asian food. I decided to go to Lotte Market with an on-site food court with many options. Lotte is about 30 minutes from the airport, and I'm all in. Unfortunately I got to the foodcourt too late at 8:30, and all but Seoul Soon Tofu were closed. I decided to have jjam ppong (noodles with spicy seafood). Sure it is not their main thing (tofu or dooboo), but the picture on the menu twisted my arm...very firmly, albeit virtually. As you can tell in the picture, the portion was huge. It smelled and tasted wonderful. The broth was spicy, and the clams, mussels, and prawns were all there appeasing my palate. My hungry tummy was satisfied with the bowl. Disappointingly small banchan, I'm overall pleased with this experience.

I'm a huge fan of tofu, especially when it's incorporated into curries or thick broth. That being said, Seoul Soon Tofu's chicken bulgogi and tofu stew really exceeded any expectations I had. For $16, I definitely wanted something decent, but it was actually amazing. The stew was served boiling in a pot with an oozing egg garnish to add a wow-factor. The aroma was all I needed to know I had paid for an experience on top of a meal. The chicken was a little greasy, but that barely took away from how delicious it was. I didn't do a lot of mixing between the two dish components, but I thought they shined individually. To eat here, you have to visit the Lotte Plaza Market and try out their food court. It's attached to multiple other businesses and has a central seating area that's first come, first seated. You can order food there or to-go without any issues, but for meals that come sizzling like mine did, it's definitely better to eat there and experience everything in full!

Not the type of Korean soft tofu I expected. Not much in the soup and Judy salty. Will not return.

Ask the Community - Seoul Soon Tofu

    Do they use MSG?

I'd say they don't. The food is fresh and there doesn't seem to be an over abundance of the saltiness. My wife is sensitive to MSG and she loves the food and never has a problem. Just our observation though

For this night we arrived at 5:45pm, right before the dinner rush hit. We did the Bite30 menu and between the 2 of us we had the deep fried beef dumplings, the buldak (spicy chicken), the Korean bbq combo, beef tongue, and for dessert we had the bungeopang and the hotteok. Everything was so delicious! Our waiter, Andy, was really really sweet and basically cooked the first tray of bbq for us and told us how he likes to use the banchan. He and my husband, who is Spanish, chatted about struggling to eat their culture's food growing up, which made me feel a little better about ordering my kid's chicken nuggets. We basically let him choose all of our food and he was spot on with all of his recs. If you can sit in Andy's section when you come, you must!!

My favorite meal of all time is Bibim Naengmyeon. I specifically came to try theirs out. I've had it at many restaurants, and have my own preferences on it. I'm unsure the official way it should be made or prepared, so this is only based off my preference. Theirs was chilly but not cold. For example, the apple slices were room temp, but the bowl was cold to touch. It didn't have ice in it, and the noodles were very chewy like japchae. So chewy that it was difficult to bite. They did provide scissors for this reason and the waitress cut it up a bit at the table before serving. The taste was fabulous. The classic flavor we know and love. I will definitely order it again even though it doesn't fully meet my personal preferences of ice and less chewy noodles. My table also got the dumplings and the dumpling ramen. Both were delicious. The lack of a star is for the service and the smell of the place. The smell wasn't of pleasant food, more like dirty dish water. I'm hoping this was a fluke. The service was dismissive, but efficient. I was ignored to my face, but I'm not too upset because everything came out fast and fine. I know this might bothers others though.
