I'm so glad that Seoul Taco is in The Grove. I was heading out with a friend and thought we were getting food but nope, he'd just eaten and wanted to go for drinks first. I hadn't eaten all day so since Seoul Taco was near, we just walked across the street. Upon walking in, they have 2 machines on the side of the counter where you can place your order. It still kinda freaks me out that machines replace interacting with people, but at least they aren't cooking our food, YET lol. I ordered the chicken tacos. They were very meaty and tender! I love that they didn't skimp on the lettuce or sauce either. I only ate 2 but my friend loved being able to eat my leftover one. Next time I come I'll be trying the pork. read more

This place is almost exactly what you would expect from the outside, but it's pretty good for what you see! It's a Mexican-Korean fusion joint that has a pretty fun set up. Cheese dip and kimchi seems to go with nearly everything. Overall, the menu is carried by these sides. It's counter service and the food comes quick so it's a strong choice for a quick lunch break. We actually had higher hopes for this place. They skimped on the meat in the bulgogi bowl and especially in the spicy pork tacos. Let's dig in: Gogo Bowl w/ steak: I am really not sure what I ate Tacos Chicken & Steak: These were my favorite of everything tired; the Seoul Sauce was delicious however, I received mostly lettuce on my tacos and little to no meat. Was excited to check this place out but was disappointed from my experience. Ordered the gogi bowl w/ steak for myself and the veggie gogi bowl with fried rice for my partner. We waited over 20 min for our food. When I started noticing multiple people behind us getting our food I went up to the front to get an update on our food. The cashier realized our food accidentally got put in as a pick up for carry out order instead of dine in. She handed it to us. The cashier was friendly but lacked appropriate knowledge to do her job up to standard. Since our food was ready but not appropriately given to it's customers, it was cold by the time we ate. I used door dash this morning to order Seoul Taco today because it's taco Tuesday and I love Seoul Taco. Our food was delicious as usual and even ordered an extra container of kimchi and a pound each of chicken and steak so we can make our own tacos again soon. I don't think the meat comes marinated in their sauce but they have so many layers and so much depth with their food i can definitely whip up some marinade. Really disappointing. Have ordered here 10+ times. Every order something is wrong. If you add on anything like extra meat or an avocado for an extra charge it will not come with the order. Update: Food seems to be more consistent now with each time I order. This Seoul Taco is by far the worst Seoul Taco location all caused by the staff not caring and obviously management not doing anything about it. I have been to this location for probably close to 200 times and I always get the same thing, a gogi bowl. The only consistent thing about it is that the meat is always seasoned well (the reason I keep coming back) other than that the bowls are never the same. They always pre cook the eggs so they end up being a hard egg, not the sunny side up as it should be. Out of those 200 times I have ordered this bowl I always get it with Seoul sauce, out of those times they have not put it on the bowl at least 150 of those orders. They also have the audacity to charge 50 cents for a tablespoon of that sauce that you may or may not get. I truly think that if the owner would audit this location he would be deeply upset with the quality of food that is coming out of there. read more

Always so yummy. They have a great online ordering/pick up situation here. Parking can sometimes not be ideal but I make it work for the Korean inspired burritos. The spicy pork is fantastic. The burrito does have some kick with the sauces but the sour cream and greens keep it reasonable.
