Nutshell: Food has great fusion flavors, great portions, great price. Worth a stop in. I've been to the Delmar location a bunch, but technically this new location is closer...by like a minute. That's one less minute I have to wait to get that food in my belly! This is the second time I've been to the new location on Chouteau. So I'm going to combine. Both times I ordered pickup on their website and both times I got the chicken burrito. I always get the chicken burrito, why mess with perfection?! The burrito is amazing. It's huge, lil sweet, lil savory, lil spicy. It's got kimchi fried rice, lettuce, cheese, shredded carrots, green onion, sour cream, and Seoul sauce (not sure what it is, but it rivals Boss sauce...if you know, you know). I'm not a kimchi person but I really like how they do it, so don't let that sway you away if you're like me. My total was about $10 and change. The only difference between the two visits was the pickup process. The first time, I showed up at my pickup time and everyone and their mother must have ordered at the same time. They were running behind by about 15-20 minutes, which was apologetically communicated to me. It was Friday night and I had nothing to rush off to, so I just popped back outside (because people are gross right now) and waited. After about 15 minutes I went back in and they were still working on orders. Total I think I waited about 25 minutes. The staff were a bit frazzled, but they were still pleasant. I would say this was a freak anomaly. This time, I popped in early Sunday evening. I was actually late, so everything was ready to go. From the signage I could see, I didn't know what the pickup process was and I told the cashier that I had a pickup order and my name. I felt like this annoyed the guy working the cashier. To prevent you from making my error, walk in on the Manchester side, bypass the cashier area and go to the back where you see a line of tables. They do the pickup orders back there. The guy back there was very nice and I walked out and went home to gorge myself. I still love the Delmar location best, but this place isn't bad. read more

It was ok at best, some good flavors in there but kind not really complementing each other. Maybe it's because they were missing kimchi or steak that we ordered :/ Closes at 10 but they start mopping at 9 and put all the chairs up right next to you... kind of uncomfortable and rushed out. We have eaten at this restaurant many times for lunch, a couple of times for dinner, and patronized the food truck. Last Sunday we went in for carry out around 6:00. We ordered at the kiosk inside the restaurant. There was one couple who ordered at the register. So there were only 4 total people in line. After about 10 minutes the place began to flood with people picking up door dash orders. The "manager" had zero clue what was going on...looked both confused and irritated. The person working the front register had things under control but the manager kept coming up and asking questions, unpacking anf opening completed orders and getting in the way. At one point the person working the front mentioned that she appreciated everyone being patient and that's not normally the way things go, eluding to this being a consistent problem. After waiting a half hour for our food we asked how much longer and was told there were at leat 5 more orders ahead of us....at the rate they were packing that was at least 15 more minutes. I calmly explained to the cashier that if a wait was going to be that long a note should be placed at the kiosk or we should have been told by her. She apologized and asked if i wanted to speak to a manager. I said I'd just like a refund. The rude manager took forever to figure out how to refund my money and never apologized or addressed that they are working on what is clearly an ongoing problem. I took the receipt and went to leave only to have the manager tell me I didn't have to snatch the receipt from her. I was shocked that she can't even apologize but is mad at me for being frustrated with the poor level of service. One of the worst experiences we've had. The employees obviously don't want to be there and they don't want customers there either. Their idea of service is to scream your name when your order is ready. The food is just okay, with a strange limited menu. The ambiance is non existent unless you count the crude, vile rap music that shouts the f word every third word. What a pleasant environment to eat your second rate tacos. The service is poor and the gogi and waffles meal was less than inviting as well. To start, the young lady at the cash register seemed unenthusiastic and spoke in a low tone. I tried to asked about the items on the menu, but she appeared agitated a bit, then suggested the gogi and waffles with chicken. I have no idea what that choice was supposed to be or taste like, but all I could recognize was the sweet potato waffle fries, not to mention that none of it was hot served with a stiffened-caulk like cheese sauce. The cooks in the back who prepared the meal were engaged in some conversation and didn't appear to care much about how my meal was prepared. I come here a lot. I love the tacos. Sometimes it's AMAZING and sometimes it's a little dry or lacking in sauce/limes so I just have to remember to ask for extra, but overall have a great time here. I have loved Seoul taco for years but yesterday was a great disappointment. I don't know what's going on with their help but the two orders I got lacked either the special seoul taco sauce or the bean paste. Those are the seasonings which really set seoul taco above and beyond all the rest and they were missing. Very very disappointed. They need to get their act together. read more

We ordered 3 Chicken Tacos and 2 Bulgogi Burritos. The Burritos were wrapped loosely in a tortilla, and then wrapped half-ass in aluminum foil thus the Burritos were falling apart in the paper bag. We ordered two different Burritos yet they weren't labeled denoting which was which. The tables were dirty, the floors were dirty, the soda machine was out of order, and the garbage cans were overflowing. The Covid excuse only goes so far... this is a case of terrible management, manifesting itself in poor employee training. Of course it could just be piss-poor employees. The bulgogi steak here is great. Get it in a bowl, tacos or burrito. If you get it in the bowl, add on fried rice instead of plain. The rice has bits of bulgogi and egg in it. FYI, the bowl comes with a fair amount of lettuce in it. To me, even though I like mixed greens in a salad, I'd get the gogi bowl without the lettuce. It just got in the way. The bowl also comes with plenty of gochujang on the side. If you're not familiar with it, it's a delicious pepper paste, but be careful at first. A little bit goes a long way. The staff had no idea what they were doing. They definitely need a real manager to come in and run the kitchen. No one had any sense of urgency or knowledge of the food service industry. By the time my fiancé and I got our food, the burrito was ice cold and steak in the Gogi bowl was charred beyond belief. Haven't even eaten the food but the ordering is painful. It said I could pick it up after 12:20. At 12:40 it still wasn't ready. It doesn't appear to be busy, but given that there is an employ wearing a mask under their nose I don't love spending too much time in here. At this point I see the employee ask someone if they are there for pick up. The sign says if you are getting pick up or delivery to stand in a very specific spot and they were bringing them out to other people so I assumed I wouldn't need to check in as nobody said anything and there was a table there with spots to pickup orders. Turns out that my order had been sitting there the entire time in a black box off to the side . Either have clear signs and follow a system or ask every customer that is standing in the pick up area what their name is. read more

Went to the grove location... bought a chicken munch wrap Seoulpreme but when I sat down to eat it there was beef inside. No problem, I simply asked them to remake it. I have been to Seoul taco more times than I can count. The location in Columbia, Missouri never disappointed with quality and consistency. The location in the grove is unfortunately disappointing. Consistently I have online ordered my Golgi bowl with a side of Seoul sauce (an extra 50 cents), half of the time once I get home there isn't Seoul sauce, and if there is there is less than a tablespoon, hardly worth fifty cents. Numerous times there is inconsistencies with the Golgi bowl be it missing spicy paste, wrong type of rice, or no Seoul sauce. This place has the chance to be great, but the inconsistencies make it definitely not worth the money. read more

We came in and ordered a quesadilla and chips with cheese to go. We waited 35 minutes for our order and watched 2 other parties come in and order food after us and get theirs first. When we asked about our food the employees got sharp with us saying there were a lot of grub hub orders before us and when we tried to point out that there were people eating there who ordered after us they said our food was ready but they didn't even include everything in our order. It felt like they were just trying to get us out of there because we complained. I understand being understaffed and having a lot of orders but these people weren't hustling at all if they were truly that busy. I work in the industry and when we have a lot of tickets we move quickly. They were just taking their sweet time and were very rude when we asked where we were in the lineup. Good food, that is completely undercut by horrible customer service. Don't order from a doordash or a any other delivery service. They will screw the order up and try to blame the third party delivery service, every time. First time they gave the delivery guy the wrong order because they misheard the name asked for, but tried to blame it on the delivery service. And rudely replied to us, "you can come down here and pick up the right order". But I really like their food, so I gave it another try. Second time, there was no way to order extra sauce, so we asked in the comments on the doordash app. Instead of placing an extra half ounce package of sauce in the bag, on the receipt they wrote next to the special request, "Yes! if you paid for it." Which if it were an option, I would have gladly selected that on the app, and gladly paid for it. So, I called to say how this note can be read by someone ordering food from them. After talking to someone who said they were a manager, I was met with a "I dont care" attitude and the tone of voice to match. So, I asked to talk to the Actual manager, when I was connected to a GM. The GM that thought there was nothing wrong with the note that HE wrote. He said, "Do you know how many of those requests we get a day," and I said, "why not make it an option on the app to order it?" Because that would be more logical than to keep writing passive aggressive notes that alienate customers each time. Like I said, I love the food, but after two very bad experiences dealing with the horrible customer service, they have lost a long time loyal customer that has recommended them for years, telling people that it is one of his favorite restaurants.
