    DIY white Sephora nails.

I just got my free birthday gift. Thanks. I miss the nail polishes, but I've been getting my nails done for years.

I sometimes come to Stonestown to relive my memories. I used to work Downtown and Laurel Heights, never had the chance to visit Sephora in the relatively close vicinities. I always come to this Sephora because it is near my house and Stonestown just got a little of everything so coming here was great. Although this store seems to be always busy but there are plenty of mall parking, the girls while young always nice and provided good services to me. I got easy check-out and they gave out samples and birthday gifts, of course given you do sign up for VIP and buy a lot to maintain your level. I consider a medium level shopper at Sephora. When I used to live near Embarcadero, I loved visiting Sephora at least once a week, always pleasant and happy experience, especially at the fragrance section. One time I got a make over during a special event and it was good! Hope you enjoy your experience as well.

    11.14.20 I don't usually... eyeliner and lipstick $37 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Five minutes and $40 later... I went to the store and the entrance was blocked off. I peeked inside to see how full the store was... all I saw were sales associates. This was on a Saturday around noon. The associate in the front asked specifically what I was looking for... I wanted to purchase an eyeliner since the one I purchased for $1.50 at Daiso didn't work. It worked on paper but not on my skin LoL! Anyway, she got on her wireless headset mic thing to contact another associate and relayed what type of make up I was looking for even though the other gal was just a few yards away and they could see each other... we all could see each other. I was allowed to enter... Yay! The second sales associate took over and I was led to their most expensive set of their line of eyeliners. I can't remember the brand, I think it was Marc Jacobs. No, thanks, not for $26. I don't plan to look like a beauty queen. She led me to their Sephora collection and showed me a retractable one for $14 and I approved. Next I was looking for a lipstick. I showed her my current one so she can get an idea of the shade I was looking for. We go to their lipstick section and she showed me one I liked the color... $23 for a lipstick. Whoa... by this time I just wanted to get out of there so I took it and paid for them at the register, third associate I dealt with. Ugh! I wish I had time to browse around without a salesperson hovering around me. I use a lipstick and eyeliner to look like a person out there LoL! and I know these will last me awhile since I don't get dolled up everyday. I love lipstick but in this covid times where we have to wear masks if we're unable to social distance what's the use. I was in and out of the store in five minutes. Next time I'll purchase these online. Review #2016

Staff were extremely friendly to top it off, I would 100% stop by here when I make the drive to SF again.

The prices here are not too crazy. A lot of these essential oil/soap stores will overcharge, but I thought this place was reasonable. You can get a small bundle of items for $28, a potent diffuser with 15 mL of essential oil for $18, and the soap bars are around $5. They also have a happy hour sale! Very worth it for local, small batch scents, which I usually see going for more. The two women working there today were super welcoming and sweet as well. I will definitely be coming back :)

They were super friendly, highly knowledgable, & answered all my questions. Their passion & positive vibes were contagious. Being a fragrance lover who blends scents at home, I appreciated the clear, beautifully crafted guidance. The class balanced simplicity for beginners with deep educational insights. On top of that, their fragrance selection was unbelievable--literally a library of scents! They had over 700 options, from designer oils to pure essential and aromatherapy scents. As someone who's taken other classes with fairly small options, having such an eclectic, rare selection to choose from was next level. This was a perfect act of self-care after a busy weekend, and I left with new knowledge, a beautiful custom fragrance, and immense joy. This truly was a one-of-a-kind experience. Highly recommend! I love supporting local businesses and see myself being a frequent customer--probably will pop-in once or twice a month! I am excited to bring friends here for birthdays and special occasions. Already, planning to bring my husband for a date--so we can create a fragrance together! I'm just thrilled that something like this exists right here in the East Bay. This experience was a gem, and I can't wait to return again and again!

I once had made a gift exchange with my mini black glass canister for a "Spray the B!#ch Away" during the white elephant gift event. That was few years back. I used that spray to create a mist before bedtime, and that was a pleasant scent. Too bad my whole family didn't like that scent, not even my ex-wife. Thus, I'm the only one who can have it in my room in case I get annoyed. Back to the latest. Sweet strong scent from diffusers and sachets, sweet customer service, and a sweet atmosphere that brings positive feelings in one whiff. Though each of the purchases were still expensive, the one for $15 was the French lavender essential oil. Not as strong as my Bulgarian version in a tiny cobalt glass bottle, the French lavender will be good enough to help me relax. I have yet to use it after I use up my Bulgarian version. Upon learning my scent profile, they helped me make bold but educated choices -- The one thing that I have come to terms with is that I love scents that work for me. I used to chase scents that were the "most popular" or "most attractive." However, our body oils change that profile a bit and the same scent does not smell the same on everyone. So although I do enjoy oud scents, not on me. So I told the workers there, "I like strong but subtle" and "I have some sweet scents in my armoire." Santal and Noir were previous purchase and the obvious choice would be something similar. However, a sweeter scent would also be obvious based off my collection at home (MFK 540 E, Carmina, etc.). The ladies here (on two different days) helped me decide on a scent (which I'll gate-keep) and I have loved it ever since. It smells amazing and I've received several compliments so far. Come here, be open to suggestions, and allow the scents to sit on your skin. I'd suggest coming here with no scented lotion or perfume on already and allow the oils to sink into your skin. Then maybe, you'll find out that the less "popular" scent works better for you than the Le Labo you smell on everyone else!
