Sergio's Cantina was one of my favorite meals on this visit to Maui. We happened upon this place on a Tuesday evening and were delighted to find out Happy Hour started at 8 pm. We ordered the Lilikoi and spicy pineapple margaritas and both were fantastic. Maya, our server, was lovely and so efficient. Notable bites were the chicken flautas and cheese enchiladas. The food was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. I've dined at most of the "hot-spots" in the area and Sergio's is one I will return to again and again! I encourage you to give it a try. read more

We loved our experience here! Arrived at 6pm on a weekday and there was a 30 minute wait. However once we were seated and placed our order our food came out within 5-10 minutes- incredibly fast! It was delicious too! Excellent flavor, tasted fresh, good portions. I had the tostada salad with steak for $24.99 and the portion was good. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. This restaurant has been opened for 4 months so far, and has lots of 5 star reviews, and I see why! I highly recommend checking it out. It is also very clean inside. read more

The food and service were both wonderful! I had the lettuce wrap fish which was DELICIOUS! It came with pico, tartar sauce, cilantro, and avocado. It was well seasoned. The good: the staff was very friendly and our food was tasty across the board. It's conveniently located to Kapalua Beach and the portions are generous. So after working up a hunger snorkeling, it hit the spot. The less good: the prices! I've come to expect ridiculously high prices on Maui but for a Mexican restaurant in a strip mall with no view for lunch, I didn't expect to a $25 burrito! Thankfully, we were running late after a day at the beach so we hit the very beginning of happy hour and saved a couple of bucks. We'd probably go back, but not outside of happy hour. read more

First off Scott S doesn't know what good Mexican food tastes like. Being from socal and owning Mexican restaurants my party of 12 thought this place did a great job. Service was on point food was great and it seems they are waiting for ABC license to get approved so it's BYOB. Perfect. We are ordering there for our 2nd time in 5 days. read more

Great Happy Hour. The owner was the chef for Frida's in Lahaina, which closed before the fires. So I have enjoyed the same recipes. Place very clean. A little pricey for me a local, but the tourists will pay. They do offer 15% off for kamaaina. I think the restaurant will do well in the future. read more

I came by here in November and I seem to have not written a review! I'm from southern California, so I eat a lot of Mexican food on the regular. But MAN these were the best Al Pastor tacos I've EVER HAD. And the drinks were bomb too! Hands down my favorite spot to stop for a late lunch. read more

We decided to try Sergio's based on the ratings and reviews. We are a family of diverse background, one of which is of Mexican decent, so authentic Mexican food is something we know well, and this place was a pretty big letdown. The food was unremarkable except for how unremarkable it was. The "corn" tortillas were of grocery store quality and served to you cold and straight from the package, the refried beans straight from a can, guacamole tasted as if it was made from over ripe avocadoes and lacked acid, cilantro and seasoning and I'm sorry, mango does not belong on guacamole or flautas. The steak was overcooked and bland. Prices, unfortunately, were on a par with the standard $20-$30/plate range we've consistently seen on the island - even when it's a simple plate of chips with a small bowl of their guacamole. For the food quality, we would have been MUCH better off going to the food trucks across the street. read more

Jessica had a great personality and my husband and I both enjoyed meeting her. Sergio's is across from the food truck park in Kaanapali and was recommended to us (also near Times supermarket so very convenient and walking distance to most resorts on north side of black rock). This place is a must do! The food is the best Mexican Ive had! It's fresh, full of unique flavors and the servings are very generous. The cocktails were awesome. The Resturant is clean and well decorated. Our server, Yehia was friendly, and explained the menu and offered suggestions. It was a little pricy, but well worth it. We just finished a late lunch/early dinner at Sergio's!!! Delicious and enjoyable! We were warmly greeted, easily seated and meal recommendations made! ***And they now have Happy Hour!!! My husband had the taco salad with chicken tinga! The spices were perfect and the meat nicely shredded. Our server assured me the lettuce wrapped fish was amazing! It truly was one of the best meals I've had on this trip!!! The flavors with the spices and sauces were wonderful with the fish. And both of our meals were huge!!! We left SO happy!!! read more
