We had a wonderful lunch at Sergio's. We were not sure how big our party was going to be but the staff was so accommodating when we arrived with less people than we had first told them. The service was superior and the food was delicious. We had salad, penne vodka and main entrees. The chicken francais was delicious as was the filet of sole (really good sauce) and the pork. Desert was also yummy. Most of us took it home and they were happy to wrap it for us. The eclair cake and cheese cake were excellent. I've been to Sergio's for lunch a few times and it's always consistently good. I tend to order from the lunch special menu, and the veal dish is perfect. Yesterday I broke from tradition and ordered the chicken scarpariello which was a bit disappointing. The dish came with several small pieces of very well seared chicken breast, which were completely dry. The flavor of the dish was good, but the meat was overcooked. I had the chicken martini once, which did not suffer from that issue and was delicious. I like this restaurant, and the service is always friendly so I would return. read more

Came here with a group for a work event. Friendly staff, we were seated in a private room upstairs. Did the 3 course prix fix, started with crab cake, which was OK, not great, but certainly not bad. They were tiny, so certainly not sharable, I want to say 2-3 tiny tiny crab cakes...maybe equivalent in total to 1/3 of a normal crab cake. Main course I got the papparadelle with veal osso buco. The pappardelle was homemade according to their menu, but didn't taste like it. It was even a little cold by the time it reached me too. The osso buco was OK, lacking flavor big time. For dessert, I got vanilla ice cream, which is tough to complain about. Overall, there are far better options within 5-10mins down the road in pleasantville. read more

Traveling for business and stopped here for lunch. Lovely place. Really good food. Wooden floors with cloth table tops and nice Italian music in the background. They have a lunch menu for 12.95 that includes soup or salad, main course with veggie and potatoes and includes tea or coffee. Amazing price for delicious food. I had a really good Caesar Salad, Chicken Martini (Parmesan crusted chicken breast in a lemon wine sauce) with Julianne veggies that were cooked perfectly, a little al dente. We have been going to Sergio for years now and enjoy the delicious food , good service and fair pricing on all their entrées however was a bit uncomfortable during dinner. Plenty of parking, comfortable setting, very good service... the food was excellent and the prices were reasonable. Only issue was the portion size of both of our entrees, they were really kind of small, we were both still hungry after dinner so we ate the bread. Honestly, we don't eat that much and usually have to take leftovers to go, so the portion sizes were definitely small. Bummer, it would have been an excellent find. read more

Sergios is wonderful! Home-cooked style, melts in your mouth. While very popular with locals (I don't live in the area), the staff and folks at the bar welcome you like you are a regular. Very reasonable prices. I also have to say - there are two recent posts complaining about being rushed. I was at Sergio's on 1/26 when the two were encouraged to give up their table. They are correct, at that particular moment, there was not a wait for a table but it was 7:00 on a busy Friday night; the second wave of diners was making it's way in. Sergio's is comfortable but not a huge restaurant; when I've been at a table with a small party and long-stopped ordering food or drinks, I make an effort to be aware and courteous and make the table available for others to enjoy. So, for the two who said they won't be back - my guess is they won't be missed. read more

The chicken itself was plenty pressed - a dried out nightmare puck clotted with off-brand seasoned salt. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE! Owner/Manager (lady) was rushing us from start to finish. We were barely finished with each course before the next one was at the table. We were finally told we had to leave because they needed our table. Meanwhile, there was no one waiting in the vestibule. And, there were at least five other tables available around us. Another table in the corner had been occupied for the same amount of time as ours. When I asked if they were being asked to leave too she said "no because when they made the reservation they specified they did not want to be rushed"(?). Who does that? Food was mediocre. It was my son's communion on Sunday. We had family and friends over to celebrate this special day and had it catered by Silvios. The restaurant made the day even more special! It was the first time many of our guests tried Silvios food and no one was disappointed. My wife and I both being Italian, there are many critics to impress! From the seafood salad to the lobster ravioli to the chicken and veal main courses, all of the food was top notch. DON'T JUST DRIVE ON BY!! Dining at Sergio's is a great experience! I came here for a Saturday afternoon lunch with my brother and other family members to celebrate a birthday. Sergio's was selected as the venue by my mother -- and probably wouldn't have been my personal choice -- but I came away very happy and impressed!! On Saturday afternoon at 2pm they were of course serving off of the lunch menu. There were many nice selections and the lunch prix fixe menu including appetizer, entrée, and tea of coffee for $11.95 (dessert with a $3 supplement) cannot be beat for value!! I had the delicious Caesar salad as did two other of my companions. The mixed greens salad with beets and apples was also reported as good as was the minestrone soup. My entrée, "Chicken Martini" was a baked/fried (?) chicken breast coated with a bit of Romano cheese. It had very nice flavor and the meat was juicy. It was accompanied by mashed potatoes and steamed veggies and which were also good. Two others had the chicken scarpariello which the kitchen graciously agreed to modify from using hot peppers to sweet pepper for the diners more sensitive palates. I love chicken scarp myself and have had it quite often elsewhere and this dish looked wonderful and was reported as very good. The usual potatoes that are included are thin sliced, more like potato chips, at Sergio's and were an interesting update to the dish. My aunt had rigatoni with meat ragu and cream which she said was very good. My brother had penne vodka which he said was only "ok". He can be a tough (and sometimes inconsistent) food critic. In all the Fixed Price lunch included 9 entrée choices! Pasta and chicken dishes and one veal (veal Milanese) and one fish (filet of sole) dish. For value AND quality it just can't be beat! We did not partake in coffee or dessert since we were continuing the party back at the house where we planned to have dessert later in the afternoon. Two in our party had glasses of wine and the pour was quite generous! The service was very efficient and accommodating. One slight negative is that the room is on the small side (perhaps 12-14 tables, of which 4 or 5 were occupied during our lunch). There was one larger group of about 6 or 7 dining and I will say the room was fairly loud even on our visit! I can see how the room would get quite loud during dinner. Finally, since there are even fewer large tables which seat more than four, I would recommend calling ahead for a reservation! Overall, the experience at Sergio's is very nice, the food very good and the value excellent. While there are so many choice in Westchester, I am already looking forward to my next meal at Sergio's! read more

It was terrible! The service is incredibly slow especially for a restaurant that only had only 4 other tables. I ordered chicken francese. It was the worst francese I've ever had. Absolutely no flavor and the mashed potatoes were soupy. I swear they were instant potatoes. My bf had the ossobucco and he didn't like his dish either. The ossobucco came out with a red sauce rather than the typical brown gravy. How was the dessert? Well, the server who brought it out tipped my plate with the dessert and decided to put it back on the plate with his bare hands! NASTY! I didn't bother asking for another one considering the service was so slow and I didn't want to be stuck there another minute.
