My husband and I had been here once before. We enjoyed their prix fixed dinner and ordered it again. During the week (Sunday-Thursday) it's 24.95 and on Friday and Saturday it's priced well at $27.95. The deal offers nice options. We split our mussels and crab cake appetizers. We both enjoyed our entrees, veal parm with linguini and chicken Francese with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The entrees were brought out a bit too quickly, we had hardly just finished our apps, but they were generous and delicious. As soon as they took away the dinner plates dessert was offered.... cheesecake, chocolate mousse cake, toasted almond cake, cannoli or ice cream. The deal also includes coffee or tea. All in all a great meal, just wish they would slooooow down!

Chicken Martini- lunch prix fixe. I did not cut these pieces, they came out served to me already cut this way...

UPDATE: Had to write an update based on a recent experience. Went here again for a casual Friday lunch with five other coworkers. As I mentioned previously, it's been packed here before so much so that we couldn't get seated, but this day was completely empty and so quiet. It was weird, as if we shouldn't have been there. This time I opted for a less carb-y lunch option and I did regret it for sure. I ordered the chicken martini and rather than two smaller chicken breast pieces it was literally cut pieces of chicken. Maybe it's the same amount as whole pieces for lunch, but just seeing the cut pieces of chicken was very off-putting. The sauce is still good, but overall just not very satisfying. I probably won't choose to go here for lunch again. If I do, it probably won't be because I want to.

Lunch was great. Homemade pasta was great. Chicken Martini is a hit. Would recommend for lunch and dinner.

The food is an excellent twist on classic Italian which Mt Pleasant already has plenty of. Make sure you make a reservation though!

We were seated quickly . Attentive service at the bar AND at the dinner table. Clams oregano and the goat ricotta toast were perfect appetizers followed by dinner with the specialty cod and I had the pappardelle bolognese which was as good as my own. ( this reviewer is Italian-American). All 5 star! An espresso martini and Zeppole for dessert finished off a perfect meal. Kudos to staff, chef , and friendly owners for making us feel special. Prices were reasonable to a bargain ! Try it you won't be disappointed.

There was one waitress for 12 tables. 7 o'clock on a Saturday night. There were two busboys but one didn't speak a word of English. We asked him for butter but he didn't understand. The salads, margarita pizza, eggplant, chicken and pasta weren't good. I wish they were but they just weren't. Bland, lukewarm and overpriced. No warmth to the restaurant and no apologies for the hour we waited between appetizers and entrees. Very odd way to treat customers. Go to Basso in Chappaqua. Same prices but FAR superior food and you can tell they actually care about their patrons.

We were there a little before opening and a small line had already formed. Once they opened, we took our time to figure out what to order. Most of the staff were really friendly. One of the guys was not pleasant. He seemed super annoyed with every customer and then we had to hear him complain to all of his coworkers about how he wasn't supposed to open that morning. I get it; no one wants to be in that position. However, all of the customers don't have to be subjected to the poor attitude, especially since this place is obviously popular due their social media presence. Other than this one sour apple, the rest of our experience was great! Giovanni's Italian Deli is an intimately sized sandwich shop in White Plains, New York. They are located in an area with other businesses and there is free parking shared among the nearby shops. The establishment doesn't have any indoor seating, although they do have a few chairs and table outside if you want to eat on site. We ordered a total of three sandwiches: - Joe Rogan - The Famous Bronx Godfather - The Summer Bruschetta All of the sandwiches were great. Definitely crafted well with generous portions on the inside of all of the sandwiches. We watched them make the mozzarella fresh while waiting to order and for our sandwiches to be made. The guy making the mozzarella, Johnny, even gave my family samples. He made a little small portion for our toddler. Truly an awesome experience with quality sandwiches. The Summer Bruschetta was my sandwich and I can only hope it becomes something permanent on their menu! It goes without saying that, aside from the one rude staff member, our first trip to Giovanni's Italian Deli was memorable. My husband was so happy about the "sangwheeches" and is already talking about how we'll have to fit another trip to White Plains during our next visit New York. Our only hope is that Giovanni is there the next we stop by!

Our family ordered a #13,#17, #5 and a . The sandwiches were good. We should have ordered the rolls that weren't seeded but it was still good. We tried other sandwiches in the group as well. I really enjoyed the roast beef but went back in to ask for mustard which I always enjoy with my roast beef(Again I should have asked for more pickles, banana peppers and mustard) . I like my sandwiches with a punch of dilly and vinegar mix. The other thing is we should have ordered the meatball as a hot hero. Like I said it was a great stop and definitely worth the money. Service was as expected since it was all hangout and wrapped. Sodas are in a cooler which is self serve. We ended up eating our sandwiches on the outside tables and enjoyed conversing with our family. This is a family trip to a graduation. Overall great place to grab a

We came here to celebrate my best friend's birthday and unfortunately left disappointed with the…read moreoverall experience. From the moment we sat down, the service set the tone. Our server didn't greet us and instead immediately asked what we wanted to order...less than five minutes after being seated, before we had even looked at the menus or been asked if we wanted drinks. We told him we'd like to start with drinks, and although he reluctantly took the order, he returned a few minutes later empty-handed and again asked us to place our full order, without even bringing the cocktails to the table first. It felt rushed and disorganized right from the start. Throughout the evening, every interaction felt pressured, despite the restaurant not appearing particularly busy, which made what should have been a relaxed birthday dinner feel uncomfortable. When our first round of drinks was finished, he never once came back to ask if we wanted another round, which was surprising given the setting and price point. The most surprising part was learning that our server was the owner/chef's son. When we casually asked who Padre Pio was, he couldn't answer, which felt like a missed opportunity to share the story behind the restaurant. As for the meal, the total came to about $500 for cocktails, wine, four appetizers (grilled calamari, baked clams, eggplant rollatini, and insalata di campania), and entrées including ravioli, spaghetti Padre Pio, chicken scarpariello, and branzino, with sides of mushrooms and escarole and beans. While some dishes were decent, others fell short--particularly the spaghetti Padre Pio, which was overly soft and lacked texture. The ravioli also tasted very similar to JB & Sons from Yonkers. The clams were mushy and overly saturated in oil. I did enjoy the eggplant rollatini. The complimentary eggplant caponata was oddly sweet. The menu itself was oddly presented. I've never seen chicken scarpariello listed with add-ons and separate pricing depending on whether you want it on or off the bone or with sausage, it felt more like ordering a pizza with toppings than ordering from what's supposed to be an elevated Italian menu. It cheapened the overall experience rather than enhancing it. Service issues continued throughout the meal. When our entrées were brought out, no serving utensils or extra plates were provided. When he later asked if we wanted new plates, he simply dropped a stack on the side of the table rather than setting them properly, which felt inattentive and unprofessional. Additionally, the bus staff were overly aggressive when clearing the table. At one point, a busboy dropped dirty utensils directly onto my friend's lap and into her purse that was next to me. To top it off, instead of offering us a dessert menu, a piece of cheesecake was simply brought out alongside the check. After spending this amount of money, especially for a birthday celebration, this felt dismissive and frankly rude, as it removed the opportunity to choose or enjoy dessert as part of the experience. Moments later, the lights were turned on, making it very clear we were no longer welcome to sit and enjoy the end of the evening. Overall, for the price point and the occasion, we expected a much more welcoming and attentive dining experience. Unfortunately, the service and pacing overshadowed the meal.
