We had service champions out for our yearly air conditioning service. And had their electrical team out to look at our lights in our garage that needs replacing. Gio who inspected our air conditioner was fantastic, polite and thorough. Explained everything in detail and went above and beyond to insure everything was working properly. Jordan came out later in the day and not only looked at our garage lights we want to replace but checked every electrical plug in our home. Including the plugs outside were working properly. He also checked our breaker box to ensure it was up to code and everything was in good shape. I really can't say enough about this company and its employees. I highly recommend service champions. I used Service Champions for 14 years until last year. Until a few years ago they were great, clean, professional and honest. The last two times they serviced my HVAC unit all they did was look for a way to scam me into an expensive repair. The last guy that came hear tried sale me the same work I paid an outrageous amount of money the year before and stripped the sheet metal screws on my blower cover. Their response and action they took regarding my experience was handled perfectly. Upgrading from 1 star to 3. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Technician came out to diagnose my air conditioner that is not cooling. I observed him opening the valves and releasing the Freon from my system into our atmosphere. When I questioned him about it, he claimed it was just "pressure" that needed to be released and a normal procedure. After a lot of questioning, he finally admitted it was Freon, but said it had no impact and nothing to worry about. He fumbled around for another 10 minutes and then wrote me an estimate for $7k to replace my entire condenser, saying all the parts inside are broken. He became irate and unprofessional when I declined to sign an agreement to buy, or hand over my credit card for the service fee. I told him I would call his back office directly to pay the service fee, since I didn't trust him. He proceeded to call me names and became hostile. I had to tell him to vacate my property immediately. I had a separate company come out the next day for a second opinion. They said my condenser is working perfectly normal, I'm just low on Freon and it would be $300 to add Freon. They confirmed there was nothing wrong with my condenser and that it didn't need to be fixed or replaced. I have a video of the technician releasing my Freon into the air. I'll be reporting this company and technician to the licensing board to investigate, and turning over the video to them. I would not recommend working with this company. Immediately wants to sell the annual service plan NO!! And As soon as they see your unit is 20 years old again another sale pitch starts all they want to do is diagnose one issue after another recommend a new unit $14,000 to $30,000 when u are thinking REALLY!! I only had one problem ! Well i immediately shut down said just take my payment $89 & be on your way but the tech still wanted to go on and on was i listening NO . Well as soon as the tech left my husband got up on the roof saw the minor issue did a few taps and the unit was working back to normal . OMG!! Very pleased with this company all around. I've had their system installed for over a year now. All the techs Nick Adam and Jordan all very are very professional , knowledgeable, respectful well groomed, and clean in my home. I've had electrical work as well as a brand new HVAC system installed. Interviewed three companies total and service champions was the most honest not trying to oversell me, and worked with me on a quote for a like for like system. The other companies wanted us to increase my system above 5 tons, completely unnecessary, and wouldn't explain their reasons. Calling and making an appointment is easy, they even do it over text, and canceling if needed has been easy as well. Just overall in every area, I have no complaints, which is rare for me. Ben arrived at the earliest time within the scheduled window, he was polite, professional and knowledgeable. He educated me on what they were checking and why as well as confirmed I had the correct replacement filters. I thought the checkup would only cover the HVAC but Ben also checked the hot water heater that was installed by Service Champions also. When reviewing his findings he stated although it was not part of their service I should have e my dryer lint exhaust cleaned and showed me photos of lint that escaped due to a blockage. Honesty Ben went above and beyond, he took all the co ers off my AC unit and cleaned it, I wasn't aware of how dirty it was due to the smoke from the fires, construction dust etc, there is so much to say but I'm getting long winded, suffice to say I highly recommend Service Champions and Ben is an excellent example of the companies service and commitment to their customers. read more

I was on an MVP plan and used them twice. First the good - they show up in time and react quickly to emergencies. They addressed my issues twice. Now the negative. The reps seem to be trained to upsell and make you pay for unnecessary charges. Their repairs with an MVP will always be expensive. My latest experience - had a water dripping from ceiling due to condensation issues. The rep helped drain the clogged water (after prodding) but convinced me enough that the AC has failed and needs to be replaced (a $16K charge). They didn't flush the drain because it was hard to access. When asked, the technician Brandon actually said that the drain was too high (from outside) to reach and he couldn't vaccum it. He did vaccum the immediate standing water - but per their technician, AC needed replacement and shouldn't be used until replaced. I was about to order a new AC because they sounded like experts, and even scheduled an immediate replacement. Thankfully I called two different folks for second opinion. The next person is a local gem with a different company. He diagnosed the issue correctly, drained the vent and helped understand why the original install was creating issues. After I shared Service Champion's assessments, he ran tests and advised on no urgent need to replace AC. Saved me $16k. Same diagnosis from a third technician ( I spent to ensure I am doubly sure). Turns out I was paying the wrong people. Avoid this company. Spend some time to find the right technician before you do anything. They will sound helpful and will address your issues but you will pay way more than necessary. 3 stars for fixing the issue, negative 3 for dishonesty. I might have even replaced the ac with them given its age but not when I am lied about it. read more

Our main duct for our HVAC system was completely torn in half (most likely due to a past rodent problem), we had called another local HVAC company to come out and assess the damage and quote us on a repair and we're left in the dark for about a month and a half after many follow ups. We called service champions last friday and they were able to come out the following Tuesday to replace it. System is working AMAZING and their technician Brandon B. Was awesome. He talked us through all the work that needed to be done and showed pictures of the final result once everything was finished and made sure everything that had came down from our attic space was cleaned up (something small, but wasn't done with the past HVAC companies that came to asses). Everything from speaking with the office staff for booking and quotes, to the technicians was nothing but pleasant!! I got a new air-conditioning system put into my house which cost me 20 K. The first guys left holes in my walls and had my AC unit crooked because they took off the old unit and left it looking crazy. They left fingerprints on my attic closure ceiling that they had to come back and re-fix. Which took weeks to do because the scheduling. Then I had to do three inspections afterwards and they left a ladder in my hallway for two weeks because the inspector never showed up in fact it's still here. This company is very disorganized and I feel like they at least should provide a service of cleaning my outside AC unit for dealing with all these different things that have happened because I've had to take off multiple days of work for them to come because they don't give me an exact time.
