Avoid at All Costs -- A Nightmare from Start to (Still Not) Finished - A Total Disaster -- Incompetence, Lies, and Zero Accountability. We hired Same Day Heating, Cooling and Plumbing with high hopes -- and at first, they seemed promising. Courteous, efficient, and ready to help. But once the check cleared, it all went downhill. They installed the wrong air conditioning unit. Let that sink in. The wrong unit. We had to wait for them to come back and fix their mistake. When the correct unit was finally installed, it caused our entire house to shake. You read that right -- it shook our home like a freight train every time it kicked on. Yet another return visit was needed. To make things worse, we were suckered into signing up for their monthly service plan, which turned out to be a complete joke. We tried to use it and never got a call back. Not once. It's a blatant scam -- don't fall for it like we did. And here's the cherry on top: we had our unit installed in March. It's now July 8th, and we still haven't gotten an inspection. Four months later, and our job remains incomplete. It's unacceptable, unprofessional, and utterly disrespectful. Trying to get support is a cruel joke. Their customer service line just routes to scheduling, and no one there can help with anything. They promise to pass on the message to management, but no one ever follows up. We even have a manager's direct number -- but it goes straight to voicemail, and that mailbox is not set up. Completely inaccessible. Completely unprofessional. Save yourself the frustration, the wasted time, and the money. Same Day Heating, Cooling and Plumbing may show up the first day, but don't count on them to finish the job -- or care that they didn't. Do not give this company your business. They're happy to take your money, but good luck getting anything else. From botched installation to nonexistent customer service, Same Day should be renamed "Some Day... i had an awesome experience with these guys! I was asked at Home Depot if I would like a $29 tuneup in June which of course I accepted. My system being almost 15 years old, I knew I would need to replace it, and decided to do so after the part wasn't readily available. I could not have asked for better service! I signed up Monday afternoon, and they were here the next morning to install! These are some of the nicest people I've met in a long time! My thanks go out to Juston for signing me up for a heat pump system, making me feel comfortable with my purchase, and swinging by the next day to make sure all was well. Thanks to Michael Ross to help troubke shoot my difficult attic situation, and also making me feel good about my purchase. Omid and Mohamed... These are two are the most calm, hard working, knowledgable, and kind guys ever to provide a service of this magnitude without a single complaint or concern. They bubble the closet that the system went into which made it look amazing. They went above and beyond they did the little things around the house that I can't do on my own do to my old age on top of performing work they came to do and I highly recommend this company. I requested a maintenance service for my 3 year old HVAC system. Ross was the technician. He was very knowledgeable, professional and keep me in the loop as he worked. He was very customer service focused. Same Day Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing (West Sacramento) was the contractor I found with a Home Depot special at the Sacramento Home Show. As mentioned in other reviews, the back office customer service can vary. For my first appointment, they did call to ask it I was OK for a later visit due to the tech running late from a earlier client or if I wanted to reschedule. I rescheduled. The next appointment I had to call regarding why no one showed. For the third appointment it did get better. Ross, texted me of his arrival time and was prompt. The price quoted was what I paid and am looking to add their Annual Maintenance Package. This is for the WEST Sacramento company, not the Napa. read more

We had Same Day come out to check our heater after seeing them at a home show and took advantage of an introductory offer. Exceptional value for this visit. The specialist, Ian, was very professional, meticulous and explained everything he was checking as well as some basics on how the unit works. He answered all our questions, gave us an assessment on possible future things to look out for, resealed some parts of the ducts, inspected filter, cleaned up some dusty areas, inspected our insulation in the attic which is not easy to access. He was on time and easy to schedule. Our unit is fairly new but he found some minor things to fix and offered some upgrades. We will call them back for summer checkup as well. read more

I was at Home Depot when they were offering a special for HVAC service, only $29. The service was arranged thru Same Day Heating and Air, with an arrival window at my place of between 2 & 4 PM. Alex Laughridge from Same Day arrived at 2 PM sharp and went to work servicing my heating and A/C systems. He was very courteous and polite, all the while taking care to protect my property while he worked (shoe covers, tarps, etc). He was very knowledgeable in all aspects of HVAC, and alerted me to potential problems at my house beyond heating and air (like my hot water heater being quite old). Overall, my experience with Same Day was a very positive one. I won't hesitate to to call them next time I need HVAC service. read more

The technician (Nick) that came by, was very friendly and knowledgeable. I told him based on my research I believe it was the capacitor which he confirmed by doing a diagnostic test. I told him that I was gonna replace it before he came but decided to have the diagnosis just to confirm that the capacitor was bad. He confirmed it and tested AC with a good capacitor and AC worked. I told him I was going to change it myself and he said he understood and actually told me all the things I need to do. If I ever need any AC work done in the future were I can't do it myself, I will definitely call this company because of their knowledge, friendliness and integrity/honesty! read more

Jimmy and Kirt are the best of the best. They arrived early with all of their equipment, ready to install my new air conditioner unit. They worked hard all day to remove the old unit and install the new one with great care and attention to detail. They provided and installed smoke detectors upstairs downstairs and carbon monoxide detectors upstairs and downstairs. They inspected all of the ductwork and resealed all the return air. When they were finished, they tested the system, explained it to me and completely cleaned up their work area. I had a great experience with this company. The technician, Kasar, explained all his work and found a leaking condenser and a contactor cover plate that was broken and placed aside in the unit. The cooling fins were cleaned, and condenser replaced. Also, the wiring had been stripped improperly and had broken cut copper strands. Kasar did an excellent job stripping the wire properly and showing me the difference. My AC unit now operates much quieter when it turns on and when it turns off.
