Called my home warranty company on Friday 1/17/2020. These guys came out the following Monday. He ran a little water though my soap dispenser and washer tub said I had a back up of soap though the system. He told me if I had any problems to call him and he would come back out. I did 2 loads of laundry and the same codes came back up PE ,OE,and DR. So I called the company number left a message with no response. Called 10 more times and no response. So I called my home warranty company back and they dispatched a different company. The guy that came out was cool as hell but if i want cool I would go hang out with my friends at a bar or watch a football game with my buds. All I wanted was my washer fixed and it didn't get done. I really needed a stove repaired at my rental property. I found service pros on Yelp and gave them a shot. What a waste of time and money. Service Tech showed up at the house, was there for less than 5 minutes and determined it was an electrical issue. Ok maybe it is, I think to myself. So, I call the tenant and ask her to connect the stove to another outlet using an extension cord. I'm no repair Tech, but you would think the service tech would validate this right? Nope! We tried connecting the stove to other outlets and it didn't light. Called service pros back and let them know we tried other outlets and still couldn't get the stove to light. After billing me for a service call, I never heard from or saw them again. After several calls and messages to get them back out, I gave up and called Absolute Appliance. I have called six refrigerator repair companies in the Las Vegas, NV area but nobody had the excellent customer service that Aaron (owner) has given me. . I explained the situation on my refrigerator and he gave me his assessment over the phone of what it may be, of course, considering he had not seeing the equipment. The technician Matthew came over with utmost respect and attention to all my questions, told me exactly what was needed in my refrigerator and the overall price to fix it - which was very fair!. . I gave authorization to get the parts and come to install them. Later that day, I received a text that the parts will be in the next day and a tech would come 8:00 am to 9:00 am. The next day, I received a text from Aaron, a tech, that he will be in my home at 8:45 am; he arrived exactly at that time, checked all the items in my unit, replaced the bought items, and reinstall all the food that was in the fridge, cleaning the outside and the floor too!! . My washers start button did not work. My terrible AHS home warranty sent desert appliances and DNG. They are the worst. Neither one even attempted to fix it. Desert appliances pushed the wrong button. How do you not know which is the start button? DNG told AHS the button didn't work because of misuse. How do you misuse a start button? I had to fight with the horrible outsourced customer service for AHS. I had to repeat everything 3x to get someone to come out to check the washer without additional costs. Finally Tony from Service Pros came out. He was on time and professional. He took the panel off and tried to fix it. He could not fix it. He immediately ordered part. I said was it from misuse? He laughed and said how do you misuse a control panel. The part was not available. I called the replacement unit. The people were in the USA. Mike and I think her name was Dora were wonderful. Find someone else, I' not even sure if this is a real business or not. They "fixed" my ice maker. Two days later the ice maker didn't work anymore. I called them back and got someone on the line who said they could come back out and to contact them back when I was ready to schedule an appointment. When I was ready, I called and got no answer, left a message. No call back for 10 days so I called again, answering machine, Called the next day, answering machine. Tried to contact via yelp, no answer, Texted them to the number on their site, no answer. Tried to contact them for two weeks and no answer. The charge is now being disputed with the CC company. Excellent and timely service! Aaron was able to get me in right away. Upon his first visit he was able to immediately diagnose the problem (seriously, 5 minutes). He was able to provide me a price for the fix and a lead time as to when he could come back. Fast forward one day later, he was back to fix the issue, again, very quick (30 minutes). I want to add between the first visit and the second he communicated with me the entire time as to the status on the part and things of that sort. This is a warning, not to use Service Pros for any repairs you may have. I had a leak behind my refrigerator and my warranty company contracted Service Pros to repair it. when they came out, it was obvious they did not know what they were doing. They miss diagnosed the problem causing the leak three different times. It took over two weeks to get a part that they said would be in in a couple of days. When they came out a second time to try and stop the leak again they broke the shut off valve, which provided the water to the refrigerator. When I told the manager about it, they would not accept responsibility. I couldn't get them to return any of my call and my warranty company wasn't able to get them to respond. I ended up the warranty company contracted a different vendor to complete the mess that service pros left undone. I was unable to leave a zero for the stars, but they are not deserving of any stars. Again, I caution everyone that use Service Pros, you're taking a big risk. read more

Just awful! Travis was sent to my home by Choice Warranty to fix my dishwasher. He found a piece of glass in my dishwasher, and the dishwasher drained. Awesome, I thought - easy fix! I ran it the next day, and there was a pool of water on the bottom of the dishwasher again. They scheduled another visit a couple of days later. Travis arrived and spent 15 minutes "fixing" it. He told my husband that there was food debris, and that's what was causing the dishwasher to not drain. No further info. But my husband also said he didn't see him scoop any food or anything out. He also didn't use our sink to wash up after himself, so I find that hard to believe. I ran the dishwasher after he left, same thing, pool of water remained on bottom. I called to try and figure out a resolution. Told a gentleman about the issue. He seemed like he was going to help, but I didn't hear back. Called Choice warranty, and they said that there's nothing wrong with the dishwasher, Service Pros said it's from "improper use." I've tried calling Service Pros (during business hours), and get the answering machine - get no return call. If you email them, they don't reply, either. Super frustrating, as I definitely don't use my dishwasher "improperly," and rinse/wash dishes before putting them in the washer. So now, Choice won't send anyone else out, and I'm out my co-pay and time, and still without a dishwasher. Stay far away! read more

Do not use these guys. They were sent to do a repair on a brand new fridge. They did some trouble shooting and had to replace a part. They came back a few days later and still could not fix it. They repair guy literally said "I have no idea what the problem is." They said they would call back with a solution the following day and as of five days later they still haven't returned my call. I ended up calling the warranty department for my appliance and they told me that service pro had already gotten paid from them. They also stated that our problem was resolved. The manufactures repair people told me on the phone that the part that service pro replaced has nothing to do with the problem. Thankfully they will be by to fix it in one days time. I talked to Aaron about my problem before scheduling the service as I wanted to avoid paying the $79 service charge for nothing. He assured me that's it's very likely a problem they can fix rather easily. It turned out that the service took all of 10 minutes to ascertain that the motor is broken and would cost over $300 to repair on a machine that cost $200 to begin with. Had a tech come out to fix our fridge/freezer. Everything went well at first. Told us that the temperature of our fridge would adjust after about 24hrs. It didn't so I reached to them and they told me to give it another day or two. Now it's been about 2 weeks and the fridge still doesn't hit the correct temperatures. Our freezer is usually 6 degrees or higher. I reached out to them again, told me someone would come between 8am-11am and no one came. Really disappointed thought they would help me out if the initial repair didn't work. Don't recommend. read more

So preamble, we have home warranty insurance that the previous homeowner "bought" for us when we moved in, but we used it twice and each time was a disaster, so we decided ahead of time we would pay out of pocket directly to a reputable repair company. 10/18/21: Had a fridge problem I wasn't able to fix my self, evaporator fan motor had gone out and died. I called up and spoke with Aaron and explained my symptoms and he agreed that was probably the case. He checked inventory and saw he didn't have any of those fan motors in stock but he would put in an order and send someone out as soon as it came in. The order came in the following evening and Matt came out the day after. Matt was cool and professional, got fridge apart, repaced the motor, tested and working all within half an hour or so. I was very appreciative that a) The business owner listened to and trusted the customer's diagnosis (even though I'm no subject matter expert by any measure) and went ahead and ordered the part instead. b) Because of this, was able to get the part and get someone over so quickly. Like, too many times have I dealt with a repair company/plumber/hvac/etc. that just wants to be like, "thank you sir we'll come take a look" then they come and don't have the part and waste 1-2 more days ordering it and coming back again. So in the end, was it worth it? I'm gonna say yes! Even though it ended up costing around $100 more than our home warranty claim would have been, who knows what random repair company we may have gotten instead! Because of how fix the repair was, and me thinking on my feet, we were able to keep our fridge cool enough for the 2 days to not lose any food. My microwave broke over a week ago. Frigidaire arranged for service pro to come out between 8-12 on Tuesday. By 11:30 no one had shown up and of course no one was picking up the phone at the office Someone finally showed up around 12:30 and said it was the magnetron and they would get need to order the part and would get back to me. As of Saturday noon after leaving numerous voicemail and text messages no one has responded. I have a baby and a young toddler and no microwave which is quite the challenge. I will be calling Frigidaire Monday to request they send another repair company. I just don't understand how companies like this stay in business. read more
