I have never turned to Yelp for a recommendation until now and I am so glad I did. I had seen so many stories on television about companies sending dishonest service men who charged for things that weren't even broken and I was quite concerned about calling a company I knew nothing about. Service Pros were listed on Yelp, they responded within an hour and they were able to come out the next day. My Sub Zero fridge was not cooling and I thought it would end up costing a fortune to repair. Thank God I was wrong! Travis, my technician, discovered the fan motor was not working. He ordered the part and just finished installing it. Total cost was $219.71. Go figure - an honest company with very fair prices. If you need appliance repair, don't hesitate to call them. I would not recommend this company. My dishwasher stopped working in November and the part was on back-order due to Covid. I would call monthly to see if the part was now available. After about 3 months of this, the owner gave me the part number so I could l monitor the part availability myself. At last, the part is available and I called to indicate this. I have received no phone call back to my voice mail and then I emailed and have received no response. I will now have to use another vendor after already paying them a fee for diagnostics. read more

They are a complete joke. They came out 3 months ago and determined the knobs on my Lynx Grill needed replaced to correct an ignition problem. The knobs did not fix the problem. The Tech then determined the igniters were the problem being an older design and would have new ones ordered. Two months later no igniters and in the meantime stopped answering my cell phone calls. So I called from my work number, a different number, and the guy answered (the owner I'm presuming) and was obviously caught off guard but said they were still on order, that was a month after they were ordered. Now he won't answer when I call from my work number. I emailed and texted them from the contact provided on their website. No response. Knisha A. who reviewed them with a 1 star summed it up: "Honestly, if I could give these guys zero stars I would. When we were first referred to them they were great. Very responsive, on time, easy to get in contact with and now none of that holds true. I have called multiple times, I have left 6 voicemails, my warranty company has even reached out and not one person has returned any calls. There are far better companies out there so do your research before giving these guys a chance." The owner is an arrogant A-HOLE who obviously is only interested in bigger jobs. I wrote a review on 10/1 indicating that a service visit from 8/3 still hasn't resulted in my having my appliance repaired. In the response owner Aaron said it was due to mfg parts coming from outside country. See Aaron, I went on GEs site to order parts and I got two of the three parts by Friday. The middle burner part, which frankly is a piece I can replace myself as I do almost daily when I clean my cooktop is the only piece on back order until 11/9. I could've just come pick that up from you. The other parts are here. I even told you directly in one of our phone conversations that I wanted you to repair the parts you were able to get immediately but your response was they haven't come in yet. In more than one phone call you told me you had a delivery date for Friday, but your Friday never came. I'm now going to guess that's bc you never ordered them bc of oos part not available until 11/9. Not sure why you just can't be honest with a customer, especially when we can very easily verify for ourselves. I didn't do it sooner bc I wanted to believe you. I wanted to trust you. I wanted to give you my business. I see now that was a mistake. That's the only reason you were so quick to send my money back. You're not in the business of selling GE cooktop parts. So since you never ordered them, you figure I might as well just send her her money back to shut her up. Seriously folks I am all about supporting our local businesses bc my family grew up from family owned business, but this guy is no professional, he purposely misinforms customers and needs to be avoided like the plague. read more

How is this place in business? There's not enough words to begin to explain how terrible this place is. They don't answer calls at all or respond to emails. I had to leave for work out of state and my husband had to stay and deal with these terrible people (on top of working and taking care of our 2 and 4 year old). Our fridge still hasn't gotten fixed almost a month later. This place is definitely shady and should be looked into. I'm going to try and get an investigation opened on them read more

Although there was a misunderstanding with technician and the price I was quoted on yelp, I was honored the price quoted. They were here within the given time frame. Technician was nice and got my dryer fixed up. My only recommendation is that the technician gets covers for shoes to wear while in the home. read more

Summer 2021 I needed a dishwasher unclogged and side by side refrigerator/freezer repair. Dishwasher was done quick and easy no problem but the refrigerator was the problem. It stopped cooling. Short story =after several visits out and a couple of techs and hundreds of dollars i decided no more on a 10yr old fridge. They are a nice company but just know when to stop. read more

Got an appoint within 48 hours of calling. They didn't have a replacement part that fit so they had to order it. He was back first thing the next morning with the replacement part! If you had, there'd be no problem.You were SO rude and unprofessional, and then you hung up on me when I said that I would contact my home warranty regarding the issue. How do you justify that as a business owner? Also, what makes no sense is that if you typically don't repair a washer with a dryer stacked but you made an exception, how did it come to be that only one tech was scheduled to do the repair? Because it's simply not true. You didn't make an exception, you just failed to properly schedul a second repair man and handled it in an abhorrent way. Regardless of what you say now, you know how you treated me and how you handled the situation. I never write yelp reviews but I feel people should know how awful you were. You were well aware of the placement of my machine. Your tech came to the house, worked on it, and ordered parts for repair. There are plenty of service companies that work on stacked washers. That's why the warranty company called you with me on the line to make sure you're one of them... not to see if you'd "do me a favor." That's a joke. That's why all I had to do was contact my warranty company to dispatch a different company for the repair, a company that has already set up repairs and expressed their disgust when I shared the awful experience I had with you. And I spoke with the dispatch manager for my warranty company, they most certainly cover this repair, even the potential cost of moving the dryer. Your scheduling mess up was made on error, understandable. But as a business owner, rather than be professional, apologetic and promptly reschedule me, you turned it around to make it my problem. Don't know how you have the nerve to treat your customers that way. Original Post: The worst experience with any repair service I've ever had. This company is contracted with my home warranty company to fix my washing machine. Before they were even scheduled, my home warranty company called Service Pros with me on the line to make sure they worked on a stacked washing machine- with a dryer on top. I also did my due diligence and contacted Frigidaire beforehand, the washing machine manufacturer, to confirm the type of unit; a side by side, front loading stackable, or a laundry center- a dryer connected to the washer below. Frigidaire confirmed that I had a front loading washer with a separate dryer on top. All this to say that when service pros agreed to do the work and collected my service call payment, they knew exactly what type of washing machine I had.. my warranty company told them, and set the expectation to either move or work around the dryer on top. Service Pros came out and determined the part needed to be ordered for repairs. No problem. The part arrived and we scheduled the repair. 30 min after they were supposed to be at my house, Aaron from service pros called to tell me that they'd have to reschedule because they didn't know that I had a stacked washer and dryer and that it was a two man job. I expressed my confusion because they had already been to my house and ran diagnostics on the washer, so how do they not know what type of washing machine it is?? Aaron then said and I quote, "I'm actually doing you a favor. It's your responsibility to give us free and clear access to the washing machine by removing the dryer yourself anyway. I've been doing this for 20 years and you're not my only customer so if you want my help we need to reschedule you. " I was appalled. The warranty company told them exactly what they were working on, they collected my money, and they messed up the appointment. We're all human and I totally understand the scheduling mix up but then to make it my problem and say that by doing their job that I've paid for they're doing me a favor? To be so rude and dismissive? When I told Aaron that I will be contacting my home warranty company and asked to speak with his manager he said, "I am the owner, thank you." And hung up on me. Needless to say I've since called my home warranty company to set up repairs with a competent, decent company. They were embarrassed that they even recommended service pros and that the owner had the nerve to treat a customer that way. We as homeowners are at the mercy of whatever company we hire to help us with repairs that we're unable to tackle on our own. It's not right for a company to collect payment, leave you hanging, and treat you like garbage. Save yourself the time and aggravation and avoid service NO's - I mean service pros at all costs. * They're listed on google as a swimming pool contractor but on Yelp as appliance repair.. with the same phone number and business name? I called they quoted $174.00 the site said $59.00 for diagnostic. The guy said I needed a pump for my washer$117. The total was $295.00 this was 7/22/2021. It took 6 days to have him back to do the repair. I called them ,they never called to let us know when they would return. Fast forward 09/02/2021, the waher is doing the same thing as before the repair. It is not spinning the clothes dry, I called and was told my 30 days had passed and to come out would be the same charges as previously quoted. Yes service pros fixed my Frigidaire side by side refrigerator freezer. Turns out I needed a new compressor. Still much cheaper than a new fridge. They fixed the dishwasher immediately but needed to order the part for the fridge so start to finish that took about 6 days. Fortunately I have another fridge. Our Microwave went out on Sunday. I knew we would have to wait until Monday to even try to schedule someone to come out. I looked on Yelp (as I had no idea who to contact). Found the top 5, and put in a request on line. Within 1 hour, on a Sunday mind you, Service Pros sent me a message that they could come out Monday morning (the next day). They were up front with the fee: a fixed $79 to cover the visit, the diagnosis, and all needed labor. Plus parts. I set the appointment. Sure enough, "Travis Stroud" showed up right on time. My Wife showed Travis the issue. He knew right away what the problem was. No BS, no game playing, no attempt to upsell. He even had the needed part, a switch. Problem fixed and resolved within 15 minutes!! I never would have figured it out. Works perfectly! Total bill with the visit, the diagnosis, the part, the labor, tax, everything: $95. Wow. Edit: The owner, Aaron, reached out about the overpriced part utilized on the repair and offered to pay the difference so long as I could show him a reputable dealer that had the part at the lower price. I sent over a link from Sears and he promptly sent over a check to make things right. While I did still have some trouble getting ahold of them to schedule follow-up appointments, I do think these guys are on the up and up and just made a couple of honest mistakes throughout the process. As such, I'm updating my star rating accordingly. Original Review: Based on the Yelp reviews, I decided to call Service Pros to fix my washing machine and, unfortunately, it was not a great experience. I'll start with the good. The guy who did the actual service was very nice and quick with the labor portion of this process. Aside from that, I had many problems with this company and it took about 2 weeks to get the washer back in working order. 1. They told me my washer was unfixable because the replacement part was no longer made. Luckily I pointed out it was only 3 years old so that seemed unlikely. Of course, the part is still available. 2. They ordered the wrong part and didn't realize it until they were at my house to install it. This wasted my time and delayed the process significantly. 3. I found the part for less than 50% of what they claimed the cost was. Pretty irksome. 4. Scheduling was difficult. They never picked up their phone so I was playing phone tag with them for days (as I'm not always available to answer during work hours). read more

I was totally satisfied with their excellent service on my old Kenmore refrigerator. After getting lousy service from Sears, who I trusted all my life, I decided to try elsewhere. Service Pros were fast, efficient, and fixed the problem quickly. They had to diagnose the problem (evaporator fan) and had to come back the next day with the replacement part which was fine with me. Sears wanted to change my compressor plus coil fan, evaporator fan, and some other parts and charge me an outrageous price. After questioning the Sears technician, I got him to agree to change the evaporator fan but still at an outlandish cost. He suggested I get a new fridge (from Sears). Sears lost me as a customer for good. I have a new place to turn to for my appliance repairs and I am very pleased. read more
