I am truly sorry I spent my money there. Our server brought my dinner companions app. I just sat there. When she brought out entrees, she brought new app with it. The tortilla chips were stale. The dips lacked flavor. My entree was also mediocre at best. I ordered a bowl that should have been flavorful but was bland. I added the dips from the dip I never got to eat. That helped. The server never offered to box up my virtually untouched app. Wouldn't have mattered because the chips were so stale. Needless to say, this was a one time mistake and I won't be going back. The general ambiance was meh. We sat outside so that helped. In general the entire experience left much to be desired and served it up with larger than deserved price tag. read more

Came in with a large group on a Wednesday and was set out back. Our waitress could not have been bothered with us and then completely disappeared. When I tried to find the manager, there wasn't one on duty but was offered the chance to cash out our drinks, a lame apology and we left. Service was good. Very overpriced for slightly above average food. The drips trio appetizer was good. Each dip was tasty and the chips were good. My boyfriend had gator po boy which he enjoyed. It was a decent size sandwich. Said the fries were nicely seasoned. I got the un-beet-lievable salad with falafel added. It was a nice amount of burrata but everything thing else in the salad was small. Cheese was on a small bed of frisee with diced beets and tomatoes around it. There were three small crostini with the salad. Not a bad salad but for $15 expected more with the cheese. The add on falafel was disappointing. Pretty dense and not very flavorful. Was inedible but wasn't something I would order again. Our total for one beer, appetizer, one sandwich and salad with falafel was $64. They have fun decor and it has been renovated nicely. read more

I was a bit apprehensive about the place because the food menu for brunch was different and i didn't immediately find something i wanted to eat but don't let this discourage you from going! I had the hangover, and it was so delicious!! My family had the falafel burger and nahvocado and loved it as well! Ok. So we've tried Sesh several times now. They've worked through kinks in the menu, service and staff. Last couple of visits we've had AMAZING meals and great spirit pairings. Highlights include their great bowls (grouper, black beans, cilantro crema and chimichuri is life changing), the awesome Buffalo chicken sandwich, the crazy tuna tartar (trust me, just order this) and so many other items. I'm really happy to spend time here. We've had Skyler several times and he's just the BEST, always great recommendations. The Silver Fox is the best drink invented. Etc etc etc too much to mention. Figured I would provide an updated review. The food has definitely gotten better and the beer is also solid. I will say that Tyson always checks in on his guests and you can tell that he takes a lot of pride in the experience. This can be seen from his attentiveness to the reviews. read more

Dirty, sticky, subpar food, subpar service. The building is a beautiful renovated historic building but they have for some reason chosen to decorate it with terrible tacky themed decor. We live nearby and we're really wanting to like this place... have tried it several times but we will not be returning. I will say everyone that works there is very nice but the service is just disorganized and slow/forgetful and everything from the tables to the glassware to the bar is just dirty. Mediocre food. Was hoping for a new restaurant that we waited to reopen was going to be amazing. I have to say Shrimp appetizer was great. Other appetizers were mediocre. Party of 4 early dinner so place was pretty quiet. Two of us ordered ribs which were fair but the vegetable side dish served with all the meals was horrible. I saw the dish piled with the over processed veggies I thought of the show The Little Rascal's and thought MUSH. Not great. Waitress was lovely but kept on us initially to get our order quickly. Do not put your whole order in right away. You will be in and out before you know it. Didn't expect the Ghost Busters theme for all the art on the walls. I Understand the place may have been haunted. Menu for a new restaurant was thin and basic. Excited to go with my family but we will not be returning. It was unanimous. We were very excited to try Sesh for the first time. We arrived at 7:30 pm on Saturday night... no one came to wait on us for about 10 mins. Server brought our water at that time and took our order. We waited for salad and bread to come out before our meal to no avail. We watched our server clean tables in a very uncrowded restaurant, and walk by us several times without saying a word. After waiting for 40 minutes with absolutely no food we walked out. I would have liked to say something before leaving, but no one was at the front desk. We will not try this place again! read more

We have been here three times. Service has been good and food surprisingly very good. Hummus and felafel were excellent. Craft beers delicious and unique. The atmosphere is unique and the story behind the building is educational, food was slightly above average, and service was average. The speciality cocktails were a cool concept and price was average for these days The Cons: 1) the outdoor area is a huge turnoff, the outdoor bar area was ok but towards the tables the fans did nothing to keep the heat and bugs away. Plus the buses going by combined with the homeless is an annoyance. That coupled with the prices of the food and drinks I would expect to in NYC 2) do a better job of letting your patrons sit inside if you know you're not fully committed until 6. My party got there at 4pm ... there was not a reserved room for 100 ppl (that I could understand). Ambiance was kinda cool. The themed drinks were fun and the chips and salsa were good. The service we had was great and super friendly. My one complaint is the food. I had a chicken club that was just okay and my boyfriend got the boneless wings. They only have buffalo flavored wings. I swear the wings were the frozen Tyson chicken nuggets. I haven't tried other things on the menu, but they should really consider taking those boneless wings off the menu. read more

Tried it as we are local. Parking is small but don't mind walking from down the street, beer selection is good, our server was great ( wish I remembered her name), my handheld pulled pork could have used more flavor or bbq sauce on the side. My wife's mahi mahi was very good, as were her grilled veggies. Please provide extra bbq sauce! More smoked bbq would go well with the beer. read more

Sesh is a huge upgrade from the old run down melting pot building. The ghost themed restaurant is a really fun experience. The hostesses as soon as you walk in are very welcoming! We started off with the steak tartare and the sesh oysters and both were to die for. I ended up getting the ribeye for dinner which was big had great flavor. Our overall experience has been amazing the two times we have been so far! Would definitely recommend checking this restaurant out! read more

We're here... again. Came last Thursday & now again on Tuesday. We're totally amazed at the excellent level of food, service & ambiance. Last time we blew the roof off with a Jelly Donut burger as an appetizer, the ceviche & a wedge salad to share followed by both the snapper & grouper done "surf & turf" with the rib eye (plus more). Tonight was burger night. We tried the single, double & triple burgers. Before they came, we had our Jelly Donut Burger as an app (split between 4) with the ceviche & wedge salad again (as good as Bern's). We also had the falafel appetizer, which was HUGE, 4 almost tennis ball sized portions, enough for everybody! With this in mind, we really didn't need to try anything more than the single burgers, but we were on a quest. My thoughts are, if you have apps you don't need anything more than a single.... but. if you want, it's simple to just take the top patty off the of the triple & take it home to have a burger for lunch the next day. Four of us stopped by for a drink and a look at new local restaurant and brewery. The decor was a hodgepodge of 1980's melting pot, "scary" artwork that was too earnest to be even kitsch or camp and terrible lighting. No seating available at bar area. It took 30 mins to get 2 beers and 2 very simple cocktails. Overpriced and underwhelming. Service too slow and not very welcoming. Noticed that they lost another customer's credit card and could scarcely be bothered to look for it and heard bartender flat out deny that they had the credit card. Eventually saw another bartender or manager found credit on the floor behind the bar. I heard weak apology and didn't even hear offer of a comped drink. Definitely training of staff needed. Hoping this place turns it around. I would wait a month or two before trying out for dinner. read more

Ok. Technically I give this place a 4.9. Let me explain why. Customer service 10/10. Drinks, I had a frozen frozen with a shot of grand Marnier 10/10. Honestly it's like drinking Crack but make sure you squeeze them Lemon that comes with it. Some how it took it to a new level. I also had the house sangria frozen -10/10. I order the dbl cheese burger LTO minus tomato and the seasoned fries. Burger was the best I've had in a long ass time. Meat perfectly cook and it's not super greasy. The game changer is the bun, toasted with a little butter - perfection 20/10. Now I had to deduct .1 because they need to cook the fries about 30 seconds to a minute longer -would have been perfection 8/10. Additionally, because I came when it was slow and the kitchen still messed up and put Tomato on my Burger. Small oversights. I cant eat everywhere because most restaurants make me sick, but I will be back, this place is now one of my go tos. They do have gluten free options. read more
