Amazing, my fiance planned a group gathering here the night we got engaged. It was already one of my favorite places but extra special given the ocassion and fantastic company. Seating is on picnic tables that are first come first serve. You order your meals in a small shack and then a server brings them to your table but listen up they call your number so keep an ear out. Lobster roll was 3/4 lb. of lobster lightly mayonnaised with tomatoes and lettuce. Just enough to say it can be eaten as a meal rather than an appetizer like most places. Also comes with fries and a lightly mayonnaised non-vinegary coleslaw which was one of the best I ever had. Caesar salad with lobster also had 3/4 lbs. of lobster. We went here twice on our vacation week. We've been coming to the Dennis/Brewster area for years. We live in MA so know what good seafood and restaurants should be like (several family members in various restaurant professions). First night reasonable line, waited about 25 minutes for food. Had to wait about 5 minutes to find a table. We'd give the seafood about 4 stars. Worth coming back for a VERY casual seafood dinner. Prices also just right as far as seafood on the Cape. Maybe a little high since there is no money spent on ambiance except the natural beauty of the outdoors. Second night. July 3rd. Line was crazy long but I told my brother and his family it was worth it because the kids could go down to beach area and cast their little fishing poles and play in the sand while a few adults waited to order and my college aged son, teenage daughter and her boyfriend worked on getting us a picnic table. Well, we waited in line 45 minutes to order food, my daughter got yelled at by a woman who was trying to snag 2 tables when my daughter already politely asked the gentleman at 1 table if we could have the table when they were done but no rush, then we ended up NEVER finding a table and waited 2 hours for our food AFTER we ordered! We ended up eating on our laps on the beach. Fine for me but not for my 75 yr old mother and little niece and nephew! Thankfully it was a beautiful night outside. Also there was a large picnic table "reserved " for owners family. Not a good business move on such a crazy busy night. What happened to customers first? Bottom line--if you see the line zigzagged past the end of the rope line, leave and find another spot to eat (Cobys in Brewster, Kates in Brewster or Captain Frostys in Dennis--all just about as good!). We heard 3 different people say they go all the time but won't be back. I doubt we will either. read more

We spent nearly 400.00 on seafood between the couples in our party. They got parking in the free lot, and when the lot was full when it came to our car, they told us we could park in the paid lot free since the rest of our party was already parked in the full lot. Thankful, we did this, got food, but returned to our vehicle to find a 50.oo violation ticket. Thinking this was simply a mistake on the violation writers part, approached them to waive it given we were told directly we could park in that lot for free. That person said talk to the owner of Susuit Harbor Cafe, JC, Cuchetti and he would waive it, because that would have to come from him, not this guy who wrote it up. A hassle, but we returned to the restaurant lot, where we spoke to a very nice car parker who told us he would find JC for us. In the distance, he saw him, yelled his name and ran over to him to explain what had happened and waive our ticket. JC shook is head, waved his hand like, forget it, and walked away, forcing this nice young guy to tell us sorry, nope. We spent good money at his establishment, and were told we could park in that lot for free because the rest of our party had already been parked then the lot was full and could not fit us in, yet he wouldn't waive the ticket. His greed and disrespect for his patrons has cost him business from us and the rest of our party now. How the owner treats his employees and his patrons says a lot about him, and his dishonesty and carelessness speaks volumes. There are plenty of other excellent seafood restaurants in the area who DO actually understand the value of a great customer experience. read more

Great place for lunch and dinner. It's right by the Harbour and place where people launch their boats to go into the bay. It has a good traditional seafood menu. Not only did we have to wait three plus hours for food, but we had to sit in the dark. Mosquitos were the only thing that seemed to frequent our table. No waiter or waitress checked in while we sat questioning if it was worth staying or if our food was even close to being ready. This cash only restaurant made a poor impression that ultimately lead to a disappointing meal. This sub par food was not worth even an hour wait let alone three. Placed a to go order on the phone at 12pm for 2 cups of bisque, 2 lobster rolls and a fried shrimp plate. I was told it was cash only and that I wouldn't be allowed to sit outside if I was placing a to go order (?). I arrive at 12:30 to pick up my food and I was short $10. I asked if the food wasn't ready to remove the shrimp platter. She proceeded to tell me I had to keep the shrimp and remove the bisque. I said ok and assumed it was due to the food already being done. 45 minutes go by and I still don't have my food. When I asked the man about where it was he said another 15 minutes. That's a total of 1.5 hours for my food. I was frustrated and told him it would have been better if he let me know the food was not prepared and I would've gotten the soup and the rolls instead. Really disappointed in the food here. Called in for a Joe B's sandwich which is a caprese sandwich. The menu price was $9.50. I asked them to throw some grilled chicken on it. When I went to the window to pick it up they charged me $19.57! $10 for a few slices of grilled chicken?! They also forgot to include the balsamic dressing. The presentation was quite messy and the flavor was just ok. On a more positive note, their seafood menu was awesome as was the setting. I probably say this a lot since nothing makes me happier than eating lobster rolls and I live in new England so I eat a lot of kickass lobster rolls, but i think this was the best lobster roll I've ever eaten!!! This place is a hidden gem. If/when you find it you'll never forget it. Got lobster rolls which come with really good coleslaw and really good fries-seriously they aren't just sides they are good! They don't serve beer or wine -- you have to bring your own, in a cooler, and sit and watch the sun go down over the harbor while eating some of the best food on the Cape and watching the boats come in and the kids run around and play. It's just idyllic But that's not for you, right? Don't get fooled by the look of the place, the lobster roll must weigh a pound and with huge claws sitting right on top, it's just too good to resist. Fried clams are overflowing, kids menu is just fine, and the people around you are all having fun. Wait. I wasn't supposed to mention that. What I meant to say is that the line is super long, no matter how fast it moves because those kids work like crazy, provide great service, are friendly as heck and deserve big tips from you. I think Sesuit is over rated. It's over priced and not worth the wait. I'll agree the atmosphere is great, and I enjoy the byob, but when you really think about what your getting there are plenty of other alternative places to choose from that are equally as good or better. We stopped in for breakfast before heading to the beach! A tasty spinach and feta omelette. A muffin and two coffees. The wicked nice server brought out my omelette as we sat outside enjoying the activities of the harbor. The muffin was fresh and moist.
