The grilled Ceasar Wedge salad set the meal off right. The second course was seared scallops over a pineapple habanero bacon jam. I would order this again and again. Course three was a grilled porkchop with a farmers market risotto. The risotto was perfect - creamy and the veg in the risotto was al dente. Finally, course four was a lovely mango sorbet. What can't be said about Sette?! My husband chose Sette for our anniversary dinner because of the fresh and from scratch pasta and we are absolutely thrilled! The food was divine. The lasagna bolognese was sublime! The steak and risotto were perfectly cooked. The focaccia bread board with three dipping choices is unique and comforting. Our server, Ella Rose, was warm and attentive. The owner vetted us at our table and chatted with us. The hostess made a little anniversary plaque for our table. I had an absolutely divine time at this restaurant. I ordered the shrimp scampi with a raspberry Italian soda and it sent my tastebuds on a journey. The bread the server brought out was so flavorful, and the garlic salsa just topped it all off. The server, Ella Joy, was such a kind girl, and made sure she came back to our table many times to ask if we needed anything. She even put out a very pretty Happy Birthday sign for me, along with the "The Birthday Cat" . I was stunned at how beautiful the interior was as well, and the chairs were so very comfortable. I can tell the employees put a lot of effort into this fine dining experience. Last thing, the Dark Belgium Chocolate Gelato might have been the most tastiest dessert I've eaten. I was very honored to attend Sette Pasta House soft opening last Monday. My in-laws, daughters and myself had a great time. I looked around and saw that everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. The place had a great vibe going and The owner himself came by our table and personally welcomed us and I appreciate that very much. The waiter was very attentive and the service was amazing. The food looks great and came out hot and delicious! The ravioli was to die for honestly. And if you like caffeine and cream then i recommend ending the meal with Affogato as the dessert, you won't regret it. !! Used Yelp for suggestions for a rare free Friday night with the family. Had been to most of the suggestions but saw Sette as a suggestion. Pasta and calamari? always a safe bet for our family. I do admit the location is a little odd; wasnt sure if we were walking in the right direction. It is tucked back in amongst other businesses. The restaurant is super cute/upscale but also relaxed at the same time. The food was really good. I'm not a spaghetti person but ordered it anyway and was pleasantly surprised. I loved that they bring you non-alcoholic beverages on a small plate with an extra little carafe. Our waitress was so friendly and attentive. She even brought a box of trinkets for my daughter to pick out a toy. They have an awesome happy hour that i believe is 20% off your whole bill. We came to Sette for our house warming celebration and were immediately greeted by our waitress who congratulated us, and told us a bit about the restaurant. She recommended us the bread plate starter which was incredible and came with three different topping which were all amazing. We got the chicken parm, sea bass, and New York strip steak, all of which were cooked perfectly and all so amazing. The inside is really clean and the decor is very warm and inviting, the music is at the perfect volume that invites conversation. Overall our night was incredible. One of the staff brought us a sign that said "congrats!" With a little drawing of a house after she over heard our conversation. Please pay them a visit! 10/10. Picked up a to go order from here this evening after wanting to try this restaurant for the last several months. Nothing upsets me more than when I pay good money for a meal and I feel like I have been ripped off. That was the case here. I paid $80 for one soup and two entrées so I really expected the food to be outstanding. While the mushroom soup tasted well, it had no pieces of mushroom or anything else in it for that matter. It was extremely puréed and liquidy mushroom and a extremely small portion to boot. The lasagna tasted quite good so I would gladly have that again and my wife had the linguine with chicken hers was extremely bland, and her noodles were dry, just tasted like butter and garlic. Overall, not as good as the other Italian restaurant in the area and not worth the money by any means definitely won't be coming back. read more

Always looking for good Italian restaurants, I had seen a few reviews of Sette Pasta house in Granite Bay. Yesterday we decided to give it a try and made a reservation. Sette is located in the corner of a busy shopping center and not easily visible. We spotted the signage shortly and arrived promptly at our reservation time and were pleasantly greeted by the hostess. The interior was brightly lit and had a contemporary modern look. We were seated and soon greeted by a very busy waiter. He explained that they make their pasta fresh and answered our questions about the menu choices. Susan chose the butternut squash & 5 cheese Ravioli; I chose the signature dish lasagna. We shared a Caesar salad to start out dinner. The salad split salad was more than enough for both of us, the salad was fresh and pleasantly presented. Nothing particularly stood out about the salad. Our entrees arrived and my Lasagna was a large portion smothered in sauce. The butternut squash Ravioli were colorful and also simply presented. For both of us the first bite quickly showed why the positive reviews were warranted. Both the Lasagna noodles and the Ravioli were unmistakenly fresh. I hadn't tasted a pasta that fresh since my Italian grandmother in law passed away. Both portions were large enough that we both brought 1/2 of our dinner home. We wanted to their dessert choices and settled on the house made tiramisu. A great choice, it was light and flavorful. Our dinners were accompanied by an Italian chianti and a Russian river chardonnay, both were excellent pairings to our entree choices. We expect to add Sette to our list of favorites and are already planning to bring some out-of-town guests. read more

I have been eating lasagna for over 60 years starting at my grandmother's in North Beach. Sorry grandma, but Sette's lasagna bolognese is the best I have ever had. Creamy, yummy, and tasty. Add to that my wife loved her spaghetti pomodoro and we enjoyed the Bread Board appetizer. Top it off with excellent service from Ella and that makes for a great Valentine's Day. We have ordered on Door Dash from Sette a few times and enjoyed what was delivered. We decided to try it today for lunch at the restaurant. We walked in at 12:30 and there was no one there. Across the courtyard Mimosa was packed. Our server Elliott was excellent. As we waited for our food a few more people showed up. Now to the food. My husband had the Chicken Parmigiana. On the menu it says it comes with both pomodoro sauce and Alfredo sauce which seemed odd. He asked for all pomodoro and they were very accommodating. And they actually sent a side of sauce as well so nice touch. But the chicken appeared to be deep fried as opposed to pan fried. So not traditional. It also came with fettuccine instead of capellini which is more traditional. The pasta was very good and clearly made in house as was the sauce. But somehow it didn't quite work. I had the Caesar salad and the mushroom soup. The salad was very overdressed and hard to finish. It also had cappers on it which just made it too salty. The taste was good but the dressing was off putting. The mushroom soup was delicious. We have had their pizza and my husband loves it! We have also had their Calamari appetizer and it too was delicious but a huge amount of food for an appetizer. Could have been an entree. It is pretty expensive for a 2 person lunch so keep that in mind. We will go back and continue to try other items on the menu. If I have one last thought it is the menu is very limited. I get the concept of "7 pasta dishes" but I think they could offer more appetizers and entrees. It is a menu one could get tired of very quickly. I wish them the best as Granite Bay needs more restaurants. Especially locally owned. read more

My husband and I had a wonderful first experience having dinner at Sette Pasta House last night. We were greeted by the hostess opening the front door for us. We were immediately seated. The decor is elegant and very inviting. Our server was attentive and helpful. We enjoyed Sangria to start which was refreshing. We shared a very good Caesar Salad. We both chose the Ravioli as our entree and added meatballs. I have to say the ravioli were the best I have ever had. They were very fresh and the kale and sun dried tomatoes were so flavorful. He and ElLa checked in us throughout the whole night and made sure we were happy and well fed.
