Been to Sette Pasta House twice now and both times have blown us out of the water. The service is great and the food is even better. The focaccia board was so good we got one to go. The meatball skillet was phenomenal. The flavors are delicious and melt in your mouth. My husband got the chicken parmesan and he said it was amazing. It has both Pomodoro & Alfredo sauce. I got the spaghetti pomodoro, but switched my pasta to pappardelle. It was sooo delicious My daughter had the home made mac and cheese. She's super picky and LOVED it. What a charming place! I love the concept of seven main courses to match its name seven in Italian! The service is incredible and the location is fantastic! The calamari was tender strips of calamari steak that were lightly breaded. It was great but I wish it had the option to get it without the breading. I had the chicken parm and it was great. It was served on a bed of butter noodles. Oddly there wasn't sauce on the chicken. More sauce was needed. My wife had the lasagna. She said it tasted good but there were some tough spots. Bottom-line is that the food tasted great and that is what is important. I've added pictures of everything we ate and what else was ordered in my party of 12. The service was good for a large party and the restaurant looked great. There is an open kitchen. I didn't see it until we left, but there was a nice looking outdoor space too. We purchased dinner last night from Sette Pasta House. I had been meaning to do so and finally did. It was a good decision. Our order consisted of a large Salad, Fettuccini and Ravioli. It was all delicious. The Caesar was fresh and crunchy ... made with traditional romaine lettuce, herbed croutons and parmesan house dressing. We also very much enjoyed the Shrimp Scampi with Fettuccini. It included house made Fettuccine with Argentine Shrimp, garlic, white wine, and herbs. In our opinion, the Lobster Ravioli (with Shrimp on the side) was the best of all. I don't think I have ever had better. It came with House made ravioli stuffed with lobster and herbs and topped with a splendid lobster cream sauce. The ravioli included an unusually large amount of tasty, meaty lobster. Such a disappointing experience. We have loved meals here and have celebrated birthdays and special occasions at Sette. Last visit, food was rather disappointing and focccaccia was served cold. Even so, after so many good experiences we made a reservations for a college graduation celebration yesterday that ran late after the long ceremony. We called and let the phone ring through 3 times but no one answered. When we arrived 15 minutes late, our table had already been given away. While I absolutely understand the need to give away a table when people don't show up, it is incredibly frustrating to be one minute away from the grace period and have no one answer the phone. Rather than try to accommodate us, staff challenged whether I had actually called and needed proof from my phone and theirs to verify my attempts to get through. No more visits to Sette for us! read more

We had the Chicken Parmesan and the lasagna, The food was delicious, the pasta and sauces were delicious too. The service was rushed though. We still had food on our plates, and the bus boys were trying to clear them off before we were finished. In Italy, you "buy" your table for the duration of your meal, no rush. We found this intrusive to the experience of such good food. We also feel like an offering of a "House Wine" would be nice since the entry level wine on the menu was $52 and $14 for a glass. Some restaurants offer a one liter serving of house wine, which is about 1.5 glasses each which is perfect. The ambiance is almost cafe like, very noisy, which makes it hard to enjoy intimate conversation. Maybe some hanging ornamental barriers could absorb some of that echo and sound. Overall, the meal was expensive, but good. We can't afford to eat like this often, but you can be the judge if you eat here and want to come back. read more

This may be my new favorite pasta restaurant in the area! I've seen this place come up several times in my Foodies of Rocklin/Roseville group on FB so my brother (my pasta pal) and I had to check it out. It did not disappoint! The menu...I wanted to try everything. I went with the lasagna, recommended by our super personable waiter, and it may be the best lasagna I've ever had. My brother had the alfredo, his go to, and it was good too - although my lasagna was better :) We also got their take on the Caeser salad, which I normally don't order because its usually overly dressed in a heavy dressing, but this one was nice and light and included shaved egg and capers, which was a nice touch, making the typical salad more interesting. Our waiter was also able to recommend a wine for our meal that was delicious. We ended with the cannoli for dessert - now we're not traditionally dessert people because neither of us have much of a sweet tooth so it was my least favorite because it was too sweet for me but if you have a sweet tooth, by all means, give it a try. Kudos to the chef!! The vibe is relaxed. The focaccia was dry so we wouldn't get that again. The black salt was a nice touch on the butter but we didn't love the dipping sauces. The service could improve-maybe some bigger side plates for sharing food rather than a bread plate and when we order something to split-maybe ask if you can split that for us (even if for a fee). And one entree was the wrong one so one of us started eating so their dish didn't get cold. Luckily they seemed to be able to fire up the right one in like 8 minutes. Would have been nice to at least have the wine glass comped for how long we had to wait and for the error. The place was packed, to be fair, but the kitchen and staffing of a restaurant should be able to accommodate. We'll definitely be back and hope it was just an off night. Recently moved to granite Bay, and have been wanting to try this place. Didn't realize it but it's only about five minutes from my house, which is dangerous! The pasta is delicious, and the people are so friendly and awesome! Every single person we've dealt with so far has been a 10 out of 10. We have eaten here several times now and have been extremely pleased every time. I am very picky when it comes to Italian, so getting a five star review out of me is pretty difficult. That being said, their lobster ravioli actually has chunks of lobster, and the Caesar salad is light and delicious as it should be. With very small very crunchy croutons, and a hint of anchovy. It's everything you want a Caesar salad to be. No heavy white "Caesar" dressing. Delicious. I had a pepperoni pizza and added mushrooms, the crust is so good, focaccia with crunchy corners, olive oil, but incredibly light for such a thick pizza! We also had the steak and risotto, which was cooked perfectly, and the risotto was incredibly creamy, with just the right amount of cheese and salt! I can't even mark down for it because it was still so delicious, but the calamari was a little overdone, but the meal and staff was so amazing I can hardly mark down for it! Sadly, I feel horrible but I still want to mention the awesome guy behind the bar, he's always there, and does such a good job making sure you know every detail about the food, as well as history of the place and the owner! He is obviously very proud of the place, and it shows. Everyone seems to really like working there, and is very cheerful. Even if the food wasn't amazing, it would still be a fun place to hang out. I really hate to do an update of my review! I just visited on May 31st for my sister's bday and it wasn't as good as the first time. The pappardelle pasta was completely lacking flavor and it was dry. I also ordered a pizza and it was just okay. On the bright side our server was very nice and welcoming. I can't speak to all the food but it just was not that great this time. Another thing was someone from our party ordered extra meatballs and was given only one big meatball in their pasta which was strange. The only thing that was still good was the calamari! This is our new favorite restaurant!! Lobster ravioli.. sublime. Full of tender lobster. Perfection. They make their pasta fresh daily so I can't wait to try their other pasta dishes. The chicken mushroom pizza with Alfredo sauce... hands down the best deep dish we have ever had! The crust was like a pizza cloud delivering the most divine combination of cheese, sauce, chicken and mushrooms. It wasn't heavy or chewy. Amazing. I will be craving this from now on. We had a perfectly dressed salad as well. Our waitress, Ella Joy, was attentive and adorable. My cars navigation had a hard time directing us to the right place because it's in a little nook to the right of Granite Bay Raleys. It's a perfect place for a romantic dinner, a family dinner or meet up with friends. It's laid out in a way that offers cozy booths yet also some openness for any number of guests to gather.
