Food was great but service team needs a lot of help. Our waters were never refilled (until we asked), our waitress seemed almost bothered by our presence and never asked if we wanted another drink. We had to ask for a dessert menu, several items remained on the table (that should have been cleared) once our dessert arrived... basically, a lot of little things on the server's behalf that could have made this experience much more enjoyable. Overall very meh. Pulled up and valeted. Fine. Went to seven. Overall, fine. I will say, the espresso martini was INSANE. Best I've ever had, 10000%. Service was good. However, for $20 a drink, the tables should not be laminate and peeling (pics attached). And then, when we got our car; the valet was super overwhelmed - we offered to just grab it from the parking lot and they gave us the keys - we walked all around and then found out it was in the parking garage. Then had to wait for them to get it when we were told they were short staffed bc of an event....why is staffing not planned correctly? Won't be back. This was sadly a miss for me. The views were great and happy hour drinks were a good deal, but the atmosphere was not it. It was weirdly set up in a way that gave cafeteria/cruise ship buffet vibes. I had C.W as a bartender and his friend Joey as his help and I had an amazing time. it was my birthday the time of my visit and I have never felt more special than as I did here. C.W and Joey made me feel welcomed, special, and cared for with individual care. The food options are friendly and delicious as well as the drinks are versatile and distinct. I will be sure to come back here on a regular basis and hope to meet the rest of the staff as I assume they are just as wonderful. if you are visiting I would highly recommend visiting here. Wonderful experience on the seventh floor Bar "seven" beautiful view....Great service and delicious food! had the Caesar salad which was perfect.. pasta and a little taco as an appetizer all was delicious. It was amazing how great everything flowed considering they had been open a couple of days... very impressed. we landed at Bar seven because we were originally going to go to Giada's new restaurant Luna, but we found out that the video with Giada stirring in the cheese wheel was only for the "grand opening" and that option isn't even on the menu which was very disappointing because we were looking forward to that experience however, very happy it worked out going to bar seven. Beautiful 7th floor bar/restaurant at the new Caesars republic in Scottsdale. This is open to the public and is next to one of their boutique style pools that is o lot open to hotel guests. Very new, clear the service staff is still learning, but that's not abnormal from any new concept. There's a roof deck that's on floor 8 that you can access from an exterior stairwell that's truly a unique perspective overlooking a side of Scottsdale and the surrounding mountains you don't normally get to see. Has beautiful views! Drinks were pretty good but pricey! Went on a Saturday when there was March madness, baseball and golf were on but they had no TVs and no games on. Kind of confused how they play sports games there. So we had one drink and left. read more

Servers, pleasant, professional and personable, our server/hostess was Jasmine. We were there for NYE and it was spectacular. Food is delicious, well priced and ample portions. Drinks are hand crafted, delish and boozy. Very classy, upscale, modern, clean and sharp hotel and restaurant. Desserts are ample sized and yummy. Chairs are soft and comfortable. Loved it! After much anticipation it finally opened and we got to try it! NOT worth the hype. I give it 3 stars because it is beautiful and everyone was very nice but the FOOD is atrocious. Went there for dinner. Drinks were perfectly fine. We started with an appetizer, the big meatball. It was hard, flavorless and barely room temperature. Clearly it was made elsewhere, refrigerated and microwaved prior to being delivered. For these prices, I'm expecting my meatball to be freshly made on site and come straight out of being baked in the oven, not premade and microwaved. It was so bad we didn't even finish it. We elected not to risk the entree. We got the check and had dinner at Oceans 44. Great place to go for a drink before dinner, but don't plan on eating there. read more

I want to like this place SOOO much. I live right across the street and watched the building construction with great anticipation. I told everyone 'I don't care if it's $50 a drink, I'll be there for every sunset'. What a big fat disappointment. The architect squandered the location. Inside, the spectacular view of Camelback tempts you to stay for a drink, but once you sit, the horizon (eg where the sun sets) is totally obstructed by the window structure. There's only one table outside that isn't hidden behind a column. This certain Saturday night I saw that this special table was free and requested it for we three. The hostess seemed to wish that we were anywhere but here, and informed me that it was reserved. At 6pm. Since it was only 5pm I asked if we could enjoy our pre dinner drink and promised to be gone by 6. She reluctantly agreed. I felt like I was asking her to hold my crying dirty diapered baby. Anyway, once seated we loved the fireplace and view and our young servers were great. I enjoyed my Italian Rose; drinkable enough at $16/glass. The sunset was indeed spectacular. I've been several times since it opened and each time I felt like the staff wished I had somewhere else to be. Months ago I came with my neighbor. We stood at one of the high tops so we could enjoy the view. The service was surly at best. The place was somewhat empty and since we are two women of a certain age, we asked if two of the empty barstools could be pulled over for us. NOPE. They are for the bartender to make money, was the crass reply. There were many empty barstools! This first experience set the tone for every visit. Bad management? The happy hour wines by the glass are nearly undrinkable, the cheapest mass produced crap on the market. Like I said, I'd happily pay, just give me a good experience. Anyway, I'm hoping the upcoming changes will make the place better. There are hundreds of us right across the street that will happily support the place all year round, if they make the slightest of effort to make us feel welcome. read more

This is a follow up to the first review. I was at 7 over 2 weeks ago. At the time my review was not flattering. My biggest complaint is a 22% tip rather than 20 on a larger party and then the "hidden" 3.5 % fee on the bill Thats on top of underhelming food and less than average service. I live in very close walking distance and would be here frequently if not for the current experiences. Many folks in my complex have reacted the same way. When questioned no one can explain the 3.5 % charge. The answers have been: All Caesars resturaunts charge this , it is an an amenties fee, and lastly a credit card cover fee... which I believe was one time actually a VISA /MC violation. I spoke to a manager, who was not empowered to even refund the 3.5 % fee I did not want to pay. We agreed to speak the next day so..... We spoke the next day and he asked if he could to escalate my concerns to a "higher manager" , they would call me. Seems to me the night manager should empowered to solve credit and service problems.... but I digress The " Higher " manager never called me and so I posted my experience in the review. Had my problems resolved the review would read differently and better than this...... After my review, I received a reply from a Ryen D, which is in the review link. Ryen's request was that I write a note to guest relations. Ryen Did not solve my issue, did not say someone would call but had me write another note. Why would you not immediatly contact the customer ? why ask the customer to jump through a third hoop, basically do "riots guest service's" job and escalate myself? , It is a mystery but I did, I wrote to their contact and.... And nothing I then wrote another note and I did recieve the unsigned reply from "RIOT hospitality group " below..... "Thank you for reaching out to connect further. I have passed your information over directly to one of our managers to get in contact with you" Not quite the service request response one should expect. That was 2 weeks ago. so far crickets. All nine of my fellow diners, and an additional 9 others from my dining group, not to mention a number of people in my complex are waiting with baited breath for the next response from 7. This place is priced like Oceans 44 but without reason. Any number of appetizer, barfood or Tappas places in Old Town provide better service quality and pricing. Perhaps a field trip for the team is in order. All of this would be avoided with prompt honest service. I do not know where the high reviews are coming from. This is a bar food place trying to selll itself as a high end venue.... they have a long while to go...It does have a decent ambiance but a very unprepared team and lack luster performance. Loved everything about Caesar's (food, staff, vibe!) except this espresso martini. It's on the cocktail menu, not the dessert menu, and comes with a nearly two-inch layer of marshmallow flavored whip on it. I'd suggest moving this to the dessert menu. If you are going to order it, definitely get light whip or no whip. read more

Living in Scottsdale I heard of this place being a " rooftop bar" only, but the food actually surprised me so much that I left this review. Apparently the Maestros chef now works here and it SHOWED. Wow! What a setting! Seven is beautiful. Walk through the lobby too, it's gorgeous. I went for Happy Hour (or Golden Hour as they call it) with a group and enjoyed the Mediterranean Hummus and the Savory Spinach Dip. I would get those items again! I'm giving four stars instead of five because I was disappointed that there were no non-alcoholic options on the Happy Hour menu so my beverage was quite a bit more expensive than the happy hour prices $18 as compared to $10. Add some non-alcoholic options to the Happy Hour menu and you've got a real winner. read more
