The food never disappoints and there is great service. I've tried just about everything on the menu and I can't say that there's nothing I don't like. The portions are big so you could always share if you come with a friend. They serve decent alcoholic drinks like margaritas and mimosas which makes it a great spot to come with friends. Aside from the booze, they have really good coffee. I recommend the NOLA iced coffee. They get really busy on weekends so if it's your first time, I recommend coming on a weekday. During the weekdays, I like the ambiance because it's pleasant and soothing, with some decent music playing in the background. My server recently was someone named Kaylie and if you come to this Mesquite location, I recommend that you get served by her as she was very accommodating and consistently checked on me to make sure I was all good. read more

I honestly like the location. I just didn't care for the unprofessional customer service from the 3 ladies that greeted you at the entrance. We were told once we entered there would be a 30-45 minute wait for a party over 6. We were good with that. We even patiently waited over the 45 minutes, but once we saw empty tables that could have easily accommodated our party we were willing to sit at individual tables apart from each other. Instead of the hostess seating us at those empty tables, we were told we HAD to sit together! We stated for the convenience of them and us that we didn't necessarily need to sit together. We were just ready to eat, but then 2 people were taken to the empty tables we saw that would seat 4 people, 2 people were taken to a table that would seat 6 people. I was so confused and getting agitated as well. Then the 2nd lady then proceeds to tell us that the wait time we were initially given was an estimate and that we might have to wait longer! Keep in mind we're over the 45 minutes already just talking when there were empty tables available, but they took other people to those tables instead. The 3rd lady started to pace back and forth, huffing and puffing, then she stomped off! I found that be very strange and rude! We were finally seated after 15 more minutes of waiting just for them to pull tables together that we stated a few times was not necessary. I really hope this is addressed: The wait time for seating and the unprofessional and rude behavior we received from your staff who greeted us. Anthony our waiter was EXCELLENT! He took our orders right away. Made sure our orders were right before he left the table. He constantly checked on us. He deserves 5+ stars just him alone! read more

I went to have breakfast after church, stopped here, there was no one waiting but the hostess told me that I would have to wait for a small table since I was a party of one. When I pointed out the empty tables and no one waiting behind me, she again told me that I would have to wait for a small table. I said, no, I'll go somewhere else. I called back to speak with the manager, the hostess said she would not put me through to her manager until I told her my issue. If I wanted to complain to the rude little girl hostess, I would've asked for her. But the rude little juvenile wouldn't accept me asking for the manager, so she hung up on me. The breakfast was so, so delicious! I recommend! We tried this place for the first time with my husband. The wait was 25 minutes, we waited in our car and got a notification by text when our table was ready and we were seated. The staff and waitress was so friendly and nice. I ordered scrambled eggs and bacon and the order of 3 stack pancakes! My husband ordered a lemon and blueberry muffin with scrambled egg mixed with bacon, hash browns and a waffle. When my order came out I was in shock the pancakes were gigantic! As big as my plate, I knew I wouldn't even finish them. The fresh orange juice is delicious! And the muffin was so warm and delicate. It crumbled from softness and warmth, It made me smile. The bacon was cooked perfectly and my eggs were fluffy and you get a decent amount. We have tried plenty of breakfast places and I definitely recommend if you have not tried them out. The food quality is very good and presented very nicely. Now there are family friendly so expect to hear little ones running and yelling and of course crying. But we are parents and we are use to that so it didn't bother us. A little toddler even came over to our table and would drag the chairs away. But it's fine. I was more intrigued by my delicious food. Ordered a screwdriver yesterday morning, I asked for vodka rocks with a splash of oj, couldn't even taste the vodka? I then asked the bartender if I could order a shot of vodka that I could split with my wife(her drink was the same), she told me they couldn't? I then said the next time someone orders something and says a splash of something, give them just a splash! She said she couldn't do that, they have to make them that way! I had my son in law also taste the drink, he also couldn't taste any vodka. They still charged full price $10 per drink, won't be going back anytime soon! read more

Today, we had a company meeting today. Our waiter, Kimberly, was absolutely fabulous! When getting our orders, she took the time to verify exactly what we ordered to make sure it was correct. If there was anything that wasn't stated, ran out to ask us. She was very knowledgeable with the drinks offered and the menu. We found out she just came out of training but was a natural! If I could leave zero stars I would. The absolute worst, most incompetent customer service ever!!! We were seated in a timely manner but after that we sat at our table for over 30 minutes and no one ever came to take our order. Other tables were complaining to management who clearly didn't know her elbow from her ass. Definitely shouldn't be running a restaurant. When I asked the hostess if someone was coming to wait on us, she replied "oh yeah, we are having trouble with THAT waitress." I followed up with "Okay. Is there someone else that can wait on us"? She said "yeah, just wait." So we waited and waited and waited. Then we left. Never even tried the food. read more

I personally have never written a review no matter how the food tasted because usually I eat everything. However this is a special occasion because the food was extremely dry. The pancakes and biscuits were hard to swallow, the eggs were chewy and the plates were overflown with hash browns rather than the minuscule dishes themselves. The vegan options were not the alternative I expected coming with my wife she was also very disappointed. It felt like the food was sourced from a local underfunded grocery store. For $20+ a plate, you'd expect quality ingredients and flavorful food, but you get an upsetting performance from the kitchen. coffee was good, and the service was very attentive. The ambiance and overall color scheme of the building is nicer in photos, but paint jobs were not a priority while remodeling the place. Would not eat here again, but may return for a cup of coffee TO-GO. read more

We actually tried to eat at Brunch30 but it's always so packed that we have had to find alternatives twice. Boy, am I glad we did on this occasion. This place is all around great and I can't wait to go back! We all shared a cinnamon roll, because that's their thing and a must-do! It's gigantic and we all got a couple of bites each. Don't skip it; I don't care what sort of diet you're on! Honestly though, I cannot stop thinking about the smoked gouda grits. I had them with chicken apple sausage and eggs, over easy. The way that velvety yolk melted into those grits...I think about that way more often than I should! Man, that was a great dish. I nearly cleaned my plate (bowl). Others got and enjoyed the Benedict (I don't recall which one), stuffed French toast, Migas, and breakfast tacos. Everyone at the table raved about their food. The place was buzzing and busy, but the service was great! It had a really happy and upbeat vibe. Oh and don't miss the cocktails either - they had two seasonal or specialty drinks available, off-menu. Mine was a matcha with vodka and although my friend ordered the berry drink, she immediately ordered a matcha as well and I had 2. If we weren't in a rush to get to Fair Park for a musical, I would have had a third. Go and get the grits (if you're into that sort of thing) - you'll be telling your friends about them too.
