I called Severson Plumbing this morning to request a plumber to unclog my kitchen sink. I was able to get an afternoon appointment. Nick showed up right on time and in less than an hour, he had snaked the pipe to clear the blockage. Before starting the job, he carefully laid down plastic sheeting as well as several towels to protect the cabinet floor. Today Eddie de-scaled our tankless water heater and removed clogged hair in the shower. Disappointed On 8/15/23, my neighbor came to my door with a technician from Severson because she was experiencing a leak in her garage ceiling that was coming from my unit above. The technician came to the conclusion that the leak was coming from a flange in the guest bathroom that needed to be replaced. I had the flange replaced that night at a cost of $325. A week later, my neighbor texted me saying that the leak had returned. Another Severson technician came out and said they needed to do a leak search, but that the walls had to be tested for asbestos before they could cut into the walls to do the search. When I asked them about why the toilet flange I had replaced didn't fix the problem, they claimed that this was a new leak, and not the same leak from the week before. Upon listening to my voice messages, a representative from Severson had left me a message saying that my neighbor called them and "was having the leak again." Seems odd that a different leak would show up in the exact same place within one week. Own your mistakes. Severson did not fix my leak problem, and I paid them $325 for unnecessary work. After having another contractor come in to assess the situation, they were able to determine that the source of the leak was coming from a totally different bathroom. Severson wasn't even close. Finally a plumbing company you can trust!! After almost being taken to the cleaners for drain cleaning at a crazy price of almost $9,000 (do not call Rooter Hero!!) My water heater went out on one of the coldest days of the year. I'm in a 3rd story condo and servicing and replacing the water heater is a pain. Severson plumbing was recommended by my HOA. I called and they came out the same day and worked around my work schedule. They informed me that my water heater was under warranty and the price was really reasonable to repair (to be clear they did not install the water heater originally). They replaced a part and the water heater was working fine. But it turned out there was a small gas leak. So they came back out and replaced another component the next day. The water heater was working again perfectly. Again there was a small gas leak. They came out the same day at no charge and trouble shooted it and it now works great and has no leaks. 3rd times and charm and they earned my 5 star review the hard way...by standing behind their work. read more

I had no hot water and phoned my handyman and explained my issue. My water heater of 14 years is located in my attic and he was not able to do a service call on a Friday afternoon and referred me to Severson. We LOST OUR HOME and most of our belongings because of these jokers! DO NOT TRUST THEM! Our landlord told us Severson would be coming to do some routine plumbing work on our house. After the job was finished, we were really disappointed to find that all of our furniture, dishes, and other belongings were covered in thick plaster dust that nobody bothered to clean-up. Then, about a few days after the job, a pipe leaked where they had done the work and caused major flooding through the entire floor. There was extensive damage to the property, our furniture, and our belongings. Even though the pipes that leaked were the ones they worked on, Severson took zero responsibility. (These pipes had no problems previously.) We were told that we would not be reimbursed for any of the damage. In fact, the landlord's insurance paid Severson EVEN MORE money to fix their own mess! We had to be relocated because of the damaged property, so we decided to move out entirely. We had no idea that after only two weeks from allowing Severson into our home, we would end up homeless with most of our belongings ruined. We never received an apology from anyone at the company. The whole thing reeks of nefarious business. I'm convinced it could be some sort of scam they run to get paid for the original job in addition to the fix-up job for the mishap they purposefully created (paid for by the insurance). Please learn from our mistake! DO NOT let them into your home. You may end up homeless like us! read more

Liars and cheats! Don't even consider them! I had a leak under my sink and called them to come give a quote to fix it. It took them all of two minutes to see what the problem was, and they charged me $145.00 for the quote, and it didn't even apply towards the cost of the actual repair! The quote was almost $300.00 on top of that. I ended up calling another company who didn't charge for a quote and got the job done perfectly for only $100.00. They said it was an easy fix. It also turns out that they lied about something else as well (long story). I wish I had never paid them because they never told me they would charge for the quote. read more

We had a sudden pipe burst causing a slab leak in the closet under our stairs, which flooded the adjacent rooms too. We called Severson plumbing recommended by our neighbor,as our regular plumber hadn't responded to our voicemail even after 3 hours on a regular weekday morning. Severson Plumbing responded immediately and had a plumber Dylan at our house with 2 hours. Dylan was great, he systematically checked everything and detected the leak stopped it and advised us about the next steps. A couple of days later Dylan was back to reroute the pipe and did everything with minimal damage to the wall. He came with a colleague whose name I unfortunately did not note down.
