You're not going to find a cheaper cleaner. More delicious. All you can eat option Hot pot for $20 anywhere else. There is a big selection of veggie seafood sauces toppings. You name it to go in your hot pot! I came here for lunch with my coworker on a Friday exactly when they opened at 11:30 and we finish about an hour later and we were stuffed. Couldn't eat another bite. The tonkatsu broth was flavorful and it's cool you have your own little Hot pot vhs induction stove at your seat so everybody has their own Hot pot! You order the meats and appetizers from the tablet at the table. Here's a pro tip. Don't hit order after selecting an item. Wait until you select everything and then submit your order. Or you're going to have to talk to the server to submit your order for you and you can't order for another 10 minutes. Our hostess Nikki was super nice and helpful. Nikki helped us fix our faux pas ordering on the tablet LOL All of the staff was super friendly and very accommodating filling our water. Checking on how we're doing, seeing if we needed anything. It was a great experience I highly recommend!
This is a decent late AYCE buffet when you are hangry and looking to get full. I highly recommend that you put yourself or group on their waitlist for faster service in case the wait times a crazy. Shabu Gen is location in a shopping center next to other restaurants and Best Buy. Our hostess was great and even though our full party wasn't there yet. We were able to be seated and start ordering we just had to follow the 90 mins time limit. The hot pot was decent. I don't think I got the actual broth I ordered, but it was fine. The seafood options for the hot pot was okay, the veggies were plentiful and the side dishes just okay. The meat options were pretty good, I enjoyed the ribeye, but my favorite was the pork belly. The price is definitely worth it for $20 and you will leave full. There is ample seating for small bd large groups and it very spacious inside. The decor is nothing special.
This place is an AYCE hot pot or both hot pot and sushi. You can choose both or just hot pot. We opted for just the hot pot. This place can get busy. We usually come early, before the dinner crowd starts. We always eat an early dinner, 5ish. You place your apps, meats, and soups orders on the i-pad. You can order 10 items per order and after your order, the next order cannot be place until 10 mins later. All of the vegetable, noodles, steamed rice, and other items are located their self serve bar. The food is decent and pretty good. I think the service is sometimes slow getting your ordered items out to the table. The staff are nice. The place looks pretty clean, but can use some more cleanliness in some areas.
After a long hiatus, my husband and I finally came back to Shabu Gen for our hot pot fix. We came in around 8:30pm, got seated right away, and were greeted by their new kiosk ordering system. And as always, the AYCE dinner price is honestly hard to beat compared to other hot pot spots in the area. That said, a few things fell short this visit. My tonkatsu broth came out brown and murky instead of the creamy, milky white I've always gotten here. My husband's sukiyaki was also lacking the flavor it used to have. The meat quality was still good and came out fast, but I'd skip the appetizers entirely. The veggie, fish ball, seafood, and noodle variety is solid, and the sauce bar is a highlight as always. Service was noticeably lacking this time around. The servers only came by to drop off meat -- no check-ins whatsoever. The kiosk is convenient, but that's not a reason to abandon the tables entirely. Overall, Shabu Gen is still a decent spot for the price. You get what you pay for. Not sure I'd rush back, but if you're looking for affordable AYCE hot pot, it'll get the job done. we
First time here and we had a great experience. The service was excellent and the broth flavors were very tasty. It costs around $30 for both the hot pot and AYCE sushi. The sushi was good, and everyone in our group agreed it was a successful first visit.
Some things have changed since we came last. Now they have little iPads for each table that you order from. BEWARE you must order everything you want before hitting order, otherwise, you will have to wait 10 mins before ordering again. We made the mistake of placing the order before actually being done and the waiter was able to fix it and let us order the rest. They were very busy, which led to mediocre customer service. We waited 1.5 hours for a party of 3 even after checking in online. We had to ask several staff members for water, utensils, bowls, and a bill (we never got). No one greeted us or asked if we needed anything. It felt like things went down hill especially because they have gotten more busy. I don't think we will return and I'm sad about that.
We went to Shabu Gen for my birthday. It's wonderful. The only noise we heard in the restaurant was the background music. We didn't hear chatting at the next tables or dishes clinking when they cleared the tables. The lighting was set just right to put us in a mellow mood. We were able to enjoy our dinner leisurely while conversing with people at our table freely. Since it's our first time there, the waiter was gleefully explaining how to order, etc. We chose to have the hot pot and sushi option. I loved having our individual bowls so we can choose different soup bases based on our individual preferences. After we placed our first rounds of meats, sushi, and our soup bases, we headed to the bars to get fixings like vegetables (bok choy, woodear, Napa cabbage, spinach, ...), mushrooms (king, enoki, seafood, ..), noodles (udon, wide rice noodles, rice balls, rice cakes, ...), tofu (fried, steamed, ...) seafoods (fishballs, large shrimps, clams, mussels, octopus, ...), sauces, and fruits. I appreciated the variety of the trimmings offered. The only thing I was disappointed was the clams, which were very low in stock and most, if not all, were submerged in water. I didn't take any clams. The sushi was very nice. We found the Golden California rolls (little sweet and crunchy) and the volcano scallops (little scallops in every bites) particularly delightful and we ordered these two twice. We finished off my birthday with an ice cream!! We enjoyed this place very much. The prices are great too! $20 for hot pot only and $30 for hot pot and sushi. We will be back for sure!!
This is so affordable for an AYCE, this is my favorite spot to have whenever I want AYCE hot pot. Their broths and meats are also super great too, pretty good quality. Veggies and seafood are fresh too! They now installed tablets at each table, so you can order whenever. The tablets can be glitchy though, so make sure yours is working fine before ordering. They pre-bus the plates fast, so makes room for a new round. It's pretty big in there with lots of seating. I never wait too long whenever it does get busy
This place has gone downhill. Not only did they implement a self-ordering iPad system at every table that is very restrictive, but the quality of the meats and food is not what it used to be. Service was slow and wrong orders were brought to the table a few times too many. If you go with a big group, you're out of luck because you can only order a maximum of 5 plates of meat, and each plate only comes with 2-3 thin slices, which is so little. There is also a long timer of 10 minutes, and if you don't time it right or pay attention you will miss out on placing orders. Even though they kept their marketing price of $19.99 for hotpot, it's not worth it anymore because you get way less food. I'd rather pay more at another place with better service and an actual all you can eat experience. This restaurant is not giving good vibes.
My significant other and I ended up coming here one night to try since I've seen many posts about the ayce shabu at a really good price! We came on a Tuesday night and while we didn't have to wait at all and were seated immediately, it was pretty packed! I got the spicy house broth and my s/o got the regular house broth and I thought both were okayy. The spicy house broth wasn't spicy at all in my opinion and I was adding more chili oil to make it a tad spicier and it still wasn't spicy.. The meat quality was also okay, we weren't exactly sure what we were eating half the time it came out but I think i liked the brisket the most. I did really like the buffet style for veggies, seafood, sauce, rice, and noodles! It makes it easy to get what you like and portioned it to how much you prefer as well so I found that fun and enjoyable but it could be stressful when it's super busy and there's a lot of people around trying to grab the same items! My s/o and I agreed it was pretty good for the price but we probably would choose other shabu spots and wouldn't come back unless it was after 9pm and everything else was closed already! But I am glad we tried it!
There's a new tablet connected on the wall you use to order food. Makes things complicated and also it feels like they're limiting your "all you can eat". Limit 5 items per category. The moment you submit "placed order", the tablet is disabled for 10 minutes. You cannot order anything until 10 minutes later and there is a countdown so you cannot bypass the screen. Why fix something that wasn't wrong? Go back to the old ways, have workers take the orders because it was more efficient and workers actually swing by more often to check on you and refill your drinks. Also - bring back the quail eggs.
For $19 you can't complain too much. You get what you pay for! The meats are super super thin and you get like 2 pieces per order, but it's AYCE, so you can just order more. The sauces are limited and just okay. The crabs looked good but are super mushy and inedible, and it was mushy last time I tried this place as well. I had the sushi last time but it wasn't good quality so we just opted for the hot pot only this time. Overall, I think I rather pay a bit more for better quality food. read more
My family wanted to have an early Christmas dinner before my parents leave out of the country for a month, and they were craving AYCE sushi. I looked around on Yelp and came across Shabu Gen--perfect timing, because the cold weather made hot pot sound amazing! I knew the AYCE hot pot and sushi would satisfy all of our cravings. When we got to the restaurant, there was a good amount of people waiting to be seated. Luckily, I had already put us on the Yelp waitlist, so by the time we arrived, we were right at the top. Highly recommend joining the waitlist ahead of time to avoid a long wait! The interior was also spacious and the tabletops all had individual stovetops so each person has their own hot pot. The menu had a great variety of hot pot broths, meats, appetizers, and sushi options. We all chose different broths (spicy miso, spicy house, and two original house) and ordered most of the meats and appetizers to share. The service was very quick as our servers were very attentive and had perfect timing whenever we were ready to order more. The self-serve buffet area was also impressive with plenty of veggies, sauces, noodles, and seafood to customize your hot pot just the way you like it. After dinner, my family and I all agreed that this has officially become our new favorite hot pot spot in the area--especially for the price! The sushi was alright, but the hot pot was definitely the highlight of the night. We will absolutely be coming back! read more

Located in the plaza in between REI and Best Buy, Shabu Gen is the place to go if you're craving both sushi and shabu. That's the deal that I pick every time because you do get the best bang for your buck! The wait can be long so recommend getting on the Yelp waitlist. The owners are often present, attentive, and communicative regarding your table and how long the wait is. The atmosphere inside is steamy and smells like hot pot - it's so comforting during the cold winter. Recommend getting the following rolls: Burning Your Ass, Salmon Lover, and Dragon Roll. They provide about 4 pieces each and it's so easy to order double or triple of rolls you like. There are things that you will try once and never get it again. The options for shabu is decent for the price you pay. I like getting the small crab, rice balls, squash, corn, potstickers, imitation crab, the fish cake in the shape of a fish, and the fresh green veggies. I like the Spicy Miso and Spicy House broths. For the sauces, I like having more than one. Ponzu with lots of jalapenos and sriracha, sesame sauce with sriracha and sambal. Ah, just thinking about the sauces makes me want to go back already! Servers are attentive and nice. The meats come out quickly! My favorite meat is the beef toro. If you love fatty meats, that is my recommendation. They service Pepsi products here, so FYI, there is no Diet Coke. read more
First off, $19.99 for AYCE hot pot is unheard of! If you're looking for hot pot on a budget, this is the place for you. Overall, you can't really go wrong, as it offers a decent variety of meat to choose from, 6 different broth options, plenty of appetizers, and a buffet style island with even more ingredients such as seafood, vegetables, DIY sauce area, etc. The meat portions when ordered were really small and thin, which is slightly disappointing. The quality of it is one of the reasons I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The buffet area with vegetables and other ingredients does get crowded quite fast, so it can become a hassle and a mess. read more
My friends and I we went to get soup. Of course they have lots of selection see food but the meat is only three or two at a time. That's the part I don't like. Since that day was so busy the waiter took longer to bring water or to asked them we want more meat. The place is dim and of course looks nice. There's was a lot of people. Overall is ok to come. Just order constantly the meat. Do I recommend? Yes. Try it. read more

My family and I came here a couple months ago and had a great experience. At $19.99 for AYCE hot pot, it felt like one of the best values around. The food quality was solid, service was smooth, and while it was not premium level ingredients, it was absolutely worth the price. We left impressed and were happy to come back. We returned in April and unfortunately the experience changed a lot. It is still advertised as AYCE, but new ordering limits made it feel far from that. Our party of 6 was only allowed to order 5 meat plates and 5 appetizers at a time, down from the previous 10 plates for larger groups. Each meat plate only had about 2 thin slices, so for six people that amount disappears instantly. On top of that, the table iPad has a 10 minute timer between orders, meaning we spent most of the meal watching a countdown instead of eating. With a 90 minute dining limit, the system works against larger groups. You lose time waiting for the timer, then eventually orders get cut off before the full 90 minutes (maybe around 70-80 min), and around the 85 minute mark we were told we had 5 minutes left. We basically spent the meal snacking from the bar, rotating people out of the booth, and assigning one person to monitor the timer so we could reorder immediately. The food itself is still decent, but for parties bigger than 2 or 3, the experience went from great value to frustrating. If these limits stay in place, calling it all you can eat feels misleading. read more
Can't complain about affordable and cheap AYCE hotpot and sushi. You definitely get what you pay for. For just hotpot it's $19.99 but for both it's $29.99. We came around right when it opened on a Sunday around 11:30am. We were seated right away for 2 but it did get busy around 12:30-1pm. You order from the tablet at the table but you are limited to certain amount of items and have to wait 10 mins for the next order. They have a big sauce bar, seafood, fruits, vegetables, and other condiments in the back. Kinda sad they didn't have any quail eggs though. The meats are pretty thin and the sushi rolls are very small. They only make 4-6 pieces each. However, the broth was really good. The restaurant was very nicely decorated. I would say you wouldn't come here for quality food but if you are just craving both cuisines and don't want to break the bank then this is the spot. I would also only come in a small party like 2-4 people max. Overall I think they have a good selections of toppings and sushi. read more
Shabu Gen is my niece's fave hot pot place so she chose it for her graduation dinner. We had a large party of 25 which they easily accommodated because we came early in the evening. This was my first time so I was trying to get a lay of the land. I checked out there all you can eat seafood and ingredient buffet bar. The selection was very impressive with a wide variety of seafood items as well as vegetables and noodles to add to your hot pot. They also had a good selection of sushi options, including nigiri and rolls. And if that wasn't enough, they had appetizers such as salmon, carpaccio, sunomono, edamame, and gyoza just to name a few items. While deciding on what to get for our hot pot, we ordered appetizers and sushi rolls. The rolls were okay, but we weren't here for the sushi, so it wasn't a big deal. I loved the salmon carpaccio and was bummed that there was a 1 per person limit. For the hot pot, you had the option of six different broths as well as protein items such as beef, pork, chicken, and tofu. Between the broth, proteins and the ingredient bar, you could personalize your hot pot to your heart's desire. I chose the house broth because you can never go wrong with the house specialty. I love mushrooms and the ingredient bar had 4-5 options, all of which I piled on to my plate. I added spinach, green and white onions, garlic (because who doesn't love garlic), udon noodles, and as much seafood as I could put on my plate. Our table ordered ALL the beef and pork options. You can tell everyone loved their food because it was very quiet. Before coming to Shabu Gen, hot pot wasn't something I would usually choose. I'm lazy and don't like having to make my own food, but SG has given me a change of heart. Since our first visit, we've been back a few times. Even on super busy weekend nights, service has been great. The ingredients were kept stocked and clean. That's a big deal for me because there's nothing more unappetizing than a messy buffet bar. read more
The first time we came, we waited for about 30 minutes for table which wasn't bad for a busy Friday night. Last night we cued ourselves down via Yelp and it was awesome. We had a group of 6 and was waitlisted for 50 min. They texted me when our table was ready, and sat us asap upon arrival. They are having their $20 hotpot special right now, and honestly its a great deal. You really want beat this deal anywhere. The broth my friends and I like is the house spicy which has enough spice in the broth. The meats are thinly cut and it comes out pretty quickly. The staff was really attentive and cool to our requests. The self serve bar made getting our veggies and tofu super easy. Veggies were fresh and always in abundance. Seated on time with a reservation at 6:15. Waitress explained the process of ordering meats throughout the 90-minute time limit we are allotted. Place was packed and clean, and the islands were stocked for the most part with clean veggies, seafoods and sides. The ordering is similar to other hot pot spots, but this place really ought to bump up the amount of meat per tray. You literally can order 10 trays first, then subsequently 5 you need to input on the wall iPad. The platters only come with 3 slices of paper thin meats. The worst is the rib eye where 80% of the slices were white fat. Should've took a photo but trust me, it shouldn't have even been brought out. Sides took a while to come out: sesame balls and wings, which were smaller than the average wing and drumette. Broth was good, all though it would've been better if the pot was split in two so you can have two flavors versus combining two in one pot. That really threw the flavors off on some of the combos my friends chose. Good price at $20 per person without the sushi; that's the only reason enticed us to come. Otherwise, if you're into multi-broth options at once, and want a decent amount of meat served at once instead of waiting for plates to be cleaned up before the next round, this place may not be for you. read more
We took a chance on a Friday night. Joined Yelp waitlist, arrived about 15 min before to check in. Lots of patrons waiting outside for a table to be ready. Upon being seated, our server, Billy, took our order. We ordered 5 meats (beef toro x 3, pork belly, ribeye), one each of the sashimi and all the sushi specials. Then we headed off to the hot pot ingredient line. Everything was delicious. Billy checked on us often. read more

We're definitely coming back here! It was our first time checking this place out, and we came to celebrate our friend's birthday. We arrived around 6 PM on a Sunday and joined the waitlist. Even though we were 20th on the list, it moved pretty fast, and we were seated around 7 PM. Our server (Ricky, according to the receipt) was very nice and helpful, and we really enjoyed our food. The food selection was great, with plenty of options at a very affordable price for an AYCE shabu spot. We also didn't feel rushed while eating, even on a busy Sunday night. read more
Best hot pot deal in the 916! It's Japanese style hot pot with a variety Asian flavor broths to pick from. For $19.99 it's the best deal for AYCE hot pot. For $10 more you can add on AYCE sushi. Just the hot pot alone will fill you up! A couple years ago the original AYCE hot pot price here was like $34 when they first opened up and had the completion was stiff with various hot pot and k bbq joints in the area to compete against. Now there's always a line to get in around dinner time. There's a Yelp checkin reservation when you arrive at the counter. The best bang for your buck! read more

Let me start by saying I was AMAZED by how good the nigiri was. All the sushi tasted fresh and bussin. The staff are super friendly, and attentive. Shout out to Jason for his excellent service! Every person gets their own personal soup pot so you dont gotta worry about anyone contaminating your pot. The self service bar is great too. Everything is clean. For $28.99/pp, this is a great value. You definitely get your monies worth! read more
Have been here twice now and was happy both times. It gets crowded at dinner time but they do take reservations through Yelp. You can either select to have sushi plus hot pot or just hot pot. Prices are very reasonable so I hope they don't raise it. You order the sushi, appetizers and meats. The rest is self serve that includes veggies, seafood, several types of tofu, noodles. Everyone gets their own broth which is nice. One of my friends is vegetarian and she was very happy with all the non meat choices that were available. I would definitely return. read more
If you're looking for affordable and AYCE, Shabu Gen is your place! I was in the area and wanted to have hot pot for dinner so I went to Shabu Gen. I made a reservation for 7:00 PM but our table wasn't ready and usually reservations are prioritized first in the food service but we were categorized with the Yelp waitlist people...that left a bad taste in my mouth since what would be the point of making a reservation if I won't be seated at that time (give or take 5-10 mins)...? We ended up waiting until 7:30 PM for a party of 6 people. However, the food and service did make up for the extra wait time as our server was super attentive and we didn't have to flag him down too much. We opted for AYCE sushi and shabu and it was around $30 per person, such a steal! If you opt in for just shabu, it's $20, still a steal! There's an island towards the back of the restaurant with condiments, veggies, and sides for your shabu. I ordered the tonkatsu broth, and it was tasty! The meat quality was amazing too and there were a good amount of meat options. The sushi options were great too ranging from sushi rolls to carpaccio to sashimi. Around $20 per person at dinner for all you can eat ShabuShabu is a spectacular price!! It even includes wings. We enjoyed multiple orders of their honey butter wings. Their meat options are small but good. They have a bar for vegetables and sauces. Surprisingly they didn't have green onions for your sauce. There is plenty of parking, a clean restroom and we didn't have to wait when we came in on a Monday at 6. Overall, I would come back for $20 all you can eat shabushabu. read more
$19.99 for ayce hot pot. $28.99 for ayce hot pot and sushi. A great price for today's inflation. Came on Saturday around 6:30 and we waited for around 10 mins. Not too bad of a wait on a Saturday. Everyone at the table has to get the same option, either all hot pot only or all hot pot & sushi. Cannot mix. Each person gets their own pot and broth. I do not know if they offer sample of broths but I should ask them next time :) I got the sukiyaki broth. If you like sweetness in soup, you will like sukiyaki. Self serve seafood/veggies station and sauce bar. Meats ordered with servers. Meat selections is quite limited, beef, pork and chicken. They allow 10 meat items per round. The meats are thinly sliced and each plate only comes with couple pieces. Doesn't really make sense if there are more than 2 people in the group. Sushi selections are decent but mediocre in taste and quality. Service was lacking a bit but staff were friendly. read more

First time here, and we were pleasantly surprised! Everything comes with unlimited refills, which was a great bonus and definitely added value to the experience. Our server was very nice and sweet, and she provided excellent service throughout our meal. The ambiance was also great -- comfortable and welcoming. The only downside is that they don't have large tables for bigger groups. We had a party of 8 and had to split into two tables, which wasn't ideal. Desserts are also an additional charge. Another thing to note is that there is a 90-minute dining limit. We asked if we could stay an extra 10-15 minutes to cut a birthday cake, but the manager said no. Thankfully, we were able to quickly cut and finish the cake within 5 minutes. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back for the food. read more

If you enjoy being ignored, waiting forever, and paying for tiny portions, Shabu Gen is the place for you. I rarely give out 1 star reviews, but when I do, it's because the experience was truly disappointing from start to finish. I don't write this to bash the place, but to be honest about how badly it fell short I finally decided to check this place out after seeing it all over social media, and honestly, it was a huge letdown. The restaurant itself is massive with high ceilings and plenty of space, but the waiting area is tiny and cramped with only one small bench. We checked in at the iPad stand and were seated quickly, but once at the table it took over 10 minutes just to see a server even though it wasn't busy around 5:30pm. We went with the AYCE Hotpot & Sushi for $28.99, which sounded like a deal, but the meat portions were so small, just a few thin slices per plate. On top of that, sodas came in $2 cans and appetizers were served in flimsy paper boats that made the whole thing feel cheap. It's ridiculous that they don't even provide tongs for the meat and not even a ladle for the broth. Service is really what ruined the night. Our server Erin didn't even bother to introduce herself. The second time she finally showed up, I had to ask her name and instead of basic professionalism, she gave me an annoyed look like I was bothering her. The first time she came to our table she started off polite, but quickly became dismissive and disappeared for most of our meal. After our first round, it took Erin 20 minutes just to check in on us to order more meat, and then she never came back. We finally asked for the check after waiting 45 minutes for our appetizers and sashimi only for the food to show up five minutes AFTER we had already signed and paid. At that point, what's the point? Absolute joke. To make it worse, Erin served the other two tables behind us and still ignored us. We had to flag down another server just to close out. By the end of it, we had spent over an hour and a half at the table and only saw Erin twice!! The first time to take our order and the second time to refill meats. That level of neglect is unacceptable, especially for a restaurant with so many high ratings. As the place got busier, the cramped waiting area overflowed into the dining space, and people were literally next to me standing near our table, which made things even more uncomfortable. For how cheap the price is, I guess I see why people come here, but the experience was horrible for me. I'll stick to Heat Shabu or Swish! Shabu Gen needs to do much better read more

We wanted to find a spot to grub post Spartan Race in the area and Shabu Gen popped up. For the price and quality of everything, it was perfect. Staff were fast, food came out quick, and whoever was on the aux was great. The brisket and rib eye were our favorite. Beef toro was too big and fatty. Maybe if they sliced the toro shorter/smaller strips, it'd be perfect. My friend got sukiyaki and I got the miso broth, which both were delicious. For AYCE sushi, the quality was good. We liked most the salmon nigiri's, the seared salmon nigiri, Hermés Birkin roll and Lucky 7. Shoutout to Amy for hosting us and making the recommendations! read more
Went with a couple friends for a weekend brunch for the ayce hot pot and sushi. You get your personal hot pot with broth of choice. They have appetizers you can order as well and the portion really is small (which I like), so you can try things without wasting. I believe it was the hermes roll that I thought was really good! I was most impressed with the options of toppings for the hot pot and variety of noodles. I ordered the tonkatsu and thought the broth was average, but the sauce station had plenty of option to create my own dipping sauce. Service was good. It's more of a dimly lit restaurant. Have been here a few times before and it has been just an okay spot. Felt other hot pot places had better options and more variety. But since they recently a while ago switched to $20 all day it's worth it for a dinner option. You can fill up on the meats at a decent price, and you don't feel like you missed out on higher end meat and other hot pot goodies you normally would have at other places for their base price. Shabu Gen is a decent place if you're looking for both AYCE sushi and shabu. We showed up at 5:30PM thinking we would be early enough to be seated and boy was I wrong. We waited between 1.5 hours to 2 hours before being seated, but I understand as it can be very busy there. The restaurant was absolutely full to the brim and had some good vibes to it that makes you want to eat a lot. The restaurant was aesthetically pleasing and the layout design is simple. Our server Ricky quickly seated us once we were called and handed out menus for us to take a look at. We decided to opt for both AYCE sushi and shabu just so we can have a some variety for our meal! I'm a fan of individual pots for hotpot, so I was happy I could choose sukiyaki to be my broth. It had a great mix of savory and sweet and it was very light, which paired nicely with the meat. For our meat options, we went with mostly beef. We pretty much ordered all the beef options they have, but I prefer the ribeye as it was the most tender. The other cuts were a little chewy and didn't taste the best. As for sushi, I'm a huge sashimi person, so I ordered salmon, tuna and super white tuna and they all tasted great, except the temperature was weird as it was room temp and not cold like I'm used to. The self-serve area is a great feature that honestly all shabu places should have! I like that I can get up and grab sauces, vegetables, or other ingredients whenever I please, which makes things easier for both customers and servers. When it comes to hotpot, I'm a dipper, so having many options to customize a sauce is very important to me and I love how they offer that. Their vegetable and fish cake options are great and they even have kabocha pumpkin! Service here was phenomenal! Our server Ricky was very attentive and came by very often to make sure we were doing okay and asked us if we wanted to place more orders. He also paid attention to the amount of broth we had and asked us if we wanted a refill when I started thinking about it. For ordering, you are allowed to order 5 meats and 5 sushi items at a time, and it's best you max it you so you get the most value! One thing to mention, there are only 3-4 pieces of meat per plate so you need to order often if you want a good flow of food. Orders came out very fast after placing them since they have workers specifically for bringing out food. Overall, the restaurant provided an excellent experience of both sushi and shabu and the service was amazing. However, the wait time was very long and I would recommend you show up pretty early. Even though just shabu is $20, I'd rather go somewhere else and spend just a little more money for higher quality meats. read more
This is an affordable place for AYCE sushi and hot pot. The hot pot additives are buffet style, while you order the sushi from your server. It can get a bit busy here, so sometimes there's a wait or the service can be slow. The quality is good but not amazing. I think this is a great place to bring and feed the family. read more

Came in for the family week or something that was $20 for ayce hopot and sushi. Awesome deal. For the value, the meal tasted great and we also ordered some sashimi and sushi rolls. Nothing to complain and tasted great. I could tell the waiters and waitresses were getting slammed when it was busy so they couldnt attend to us as much as we needed them. This place also has our favorite korean beer Terra. The inside is also very nice and spacious. I definitely recommend this place if they are still doing the family deal. There is no lunch price and no dinner time! 20$ AYCE any time! 30$ if you want AYCE Sushi+Hot Pot. 20$ is only for hot pot!

Yes you get your own pot and you can do a sushi roll as well for $28 but if the rest of your party is all you can eat then I don't think you can do ala carte by yourself

4 pm. However, on weekends I believe they only serve the dinner menu. Since I don't eat sushi I usually skip the weekends but the hot pot...amazing

Sadly, lunch pricing is NOT available on weekends. I don't eat sushi so I'm not able to enjoy on Weekends. Other than that the place is awesome!
