Oishi Express is the least "express" place I've been to. If you have to come here, I hope you can order ahead. They have a self serve kiosk and it's a bit hidden so you better find it because they are definitely not going to help you anytime soon. I think I saw at least 5 people behind the counter but they were all busy making food. It took us about 30 minutes to get a poke bowl, gyoza, popcorn chicken, and spam egg musubi. Every single customer in there was visibly annoyed for various reasons - no one helping at the register, getting the wrong food, taking forever to get food at all, etc. Our bag was missing the gyoza so I had to go back up and ask about it. Not to mention they charge for water cups so I had to wait again for that, because the kiosk doesn't have the ability to pay for water! Despite the lack of service and awareness, the fish in the poke bowl was decent and I liked that they didn't put too much sauce. But the whole experience was so disappointing I just don't even want to bother going back. read more

The sushi platters made by Oishi Express are so pretty and delicious! You can view all of them on their website if you click on the catering tab and it includes detailed descriptions. My family decided on Platter H because we wanted all sashimi and poke. The total for it was a little over $140 plus tax and a 3% surcharge. Our order was placed for pick up at 6PM, and it took about 8 minutes for them to hand it to us once we got there. We did not mind at all because they were probably adding some finishing touches to the platter and scooping out the miso soup. The inside of the store was clean and decorated nicely. The staff was also thoughtful because they told us to be careful and asked if we needed help with carrying the items. The sashimi and poke were fresh and yummy! I wished they gave more because we like it so much, but it was a decent amount. Underneath all the fish was a mountain of spring mix, lettuce, and cucumbers. Sushi platters have about 50 pieces per tray, and so much variety. Sushi platter K, if you know you know. Sushi trays come with ginger and edamame. Oishi also has a variety of teas and boba drinks to compliment your sushi. You can also get snacks like popcorn chicken and crispy tofu. Service is great. Staff is nice and helpful. I love their sushi. The rolls are big, fresh, and reasonably priced (even more affordable than the sushi bin at Save Mart which is in the same complex). I have gotten their yum yum roll and fusion roll multiple times and they've always been tasty and well-made. The location is a bit out of the way for me so I don't go as often as I would like. They also have boba drinks but they're on the sweeter side so I usually only get their sushi unless I'm in the mood to get a drink with my order. They have claw machines at the entrance for entertainment, but the prizes were cheaply made. I thought the quality of the sushi was okay. We ordered the yummy yummy, oishi special, lion king, and spider. I'd have to say the lion king and spider was pretty good. We also had the basil popcorn chicken and gyoza. Everything came out to be $97. Lastly I also had the fruit freeze with strawberry guava freeze with vanilla ice cream, which I thought was pretty good, almost a copy cat of the 50/50 from Gunther's. This casual sushi, poke & tea restaurant just recently opened last month. They are currently in soft opening mode and now open 7 days a week from 11 to 9 PM. These hours could change later down the line per Khin. We just stopped in today for lunch. The restaurant formerly was Snobites location & Thet & Khin are working hard to make it their own. I ordered the Chirashi Don which tasted fresh and delicious. My wife ordered Passionfruit tea drink which was very tasty. She also ordered the seaweed (sea breeze) salad & said it was excellent. Also she had the summer wrap which she thought was the most freshly made and tasted the best she ever had. On this recent visit we got to savor the sesame balls & takoyakis! They were TDF appetizers. Late post! I ordered during their soft opening on 04/20. I ordered the fruit soda, the L platter, and their California roll tray. The sushi was super fresh and it came with a lot pieces. Also, the packaging was super cute and unexpected. I only heard good reviews through sac foods so i definitely wanted to give them a try. The owners are very accommodating and kind people. The staff were helpful when trying to navigate the menu. I really want to try their poke bowls,other drinks, and sushi rolls. They look really delicious. We have a small family and this was plenty of food to serve 6-9 people. Service is fast and food is ready to be picked up on time. The rolls are nicely made. We chose some cooked rolls and some raw rolls. Which is very good for both sides. The tray was basically our add ons for the kids which they preferred more cooked rolls but also have some raw fish rolls. When we walked inside the store to pickup our order, I notice they also serve boba milk teas. I would say is a good selection on their menu. Such as Oolong, earl grey, taro, brown sugar MT. They also have some other varieties of drinks too, ie: slushies, smoothies, etc. Food tasted good. The fishy old smell, and the rice is not mushy. My milk tea tasted pretty decent.
