Honest, professional, VERY competent and just plain nice. I will be giving this place my business for the foreseeable future.

Graham and his team are always straight shooters who will not charge an arm and a leg for great customer service.

The gentleman running the service counter in the front office was no longer employed when I came back. When they told me the problem- they said the right front strut was bad. I ordered the new part and he had communicated They would install the part. That was a inaccurate and that's an example of why he was not there or employed anymore when I came back. However, the part was not bad he had diagnosed incorrectly as a failing part. It was a completely different problem. It was a valve in my air compressor that was failing and they failed to find or diagnose the actual problem. They wouldn't install the part when I brought it to them after they diagnosed it incorrectly - I ordered the new part because they told me it was bad and it wasn't so I'll be returning the party and getting my money back for that as well. . Basically I came to the conclusion, they did not want to deal with an Air Ride suspension system at all and they didn't have or know how to diagnose the Air Ride failure correctly. To be fair, very few repair shops want to deal with these air ride suspension systems. They're complicated. They will be good for other things, but there are some things, They just can't handle it; it's outside of their realm of speciality.

State To State Transmissions - See my review. Here's a photo of a pan we needed to buy to catch all of the leaks AFTER paying Bill to rebuild the transmission.

State To State Transmissions

(26 reviews)

Headline: $50,000 in Family Business and Zero Accountability: A Warning to Diesel Owners…read more Rating: 1/5 Stars I am a mechanic of 30 years. My brother is also a certified mechanic. We trusted Bill at State to State Transmission with four of our vehicles, spending over $50,000 in total. My 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 alone accounted for $12,000 of that for what was promised to be a "bulletproof" build for my hauling business. Instead of a reliable work truck, I have been met with repeated mechanical failures, thousands in towing fees, and a complete lack of professional decency. The Mechanical Failures: My stock transmission lasted 250k miles of heavy hauling. Bill's "bulletproof" build hasn't even made it 50k miles. The truck has been back to his shop three times for the same failures. Most recently, I was stranded in Tucson with no forward gears. When I pulled the codes, they pointed directly to parts Bill claimed were "better than OEM" and "guaranteed not to fail." They failed. Furthermore, when the truck was first towed in, the ECM was perfect. When I got it back, the ECM was shorted and burnt. Bill took zero responsibility, forcing me to source a replacement myself. The Warranty & Conduct: Bill talks a big game about "standing behind his work," especially when bad-mouthing other shops, but he does not honor his own word. Every time his work fails, he becomes argumentative, dismissive, and condescending. He treated me like an "ignorant fool" despite my three decades in the industry. He demands the truck be towed back to him (from Show Low or Tucson) but refuses to cover the massive towing costs caused by his faulty workmanship. He consistently looks for excuses to void the warranty rather than fixing the problem. The Financial Toll: Between the original $12k build, the $10k spent at a previous shop (which Bill promised to rectify), and the now-estimated $7,500 to finally fix this correctly elsewhere, I will have $30,000+ into a transmission for a 2006 truck. The Verdict: Do not be fooled by the bravado or the promises of a "30-year guarantee." Bill showed no kindness or decency to a family that spent $50,000 at his shop. If you rely on your truck for your livelihood, stay away. The "bulletproof" promise is empty, and the customer service is nonexistent.

I use Bill at State to State transmissions exclusively for automatic transmission work. I would…read morenever even consider anyone else, and that is because he really knows his stuff, he has a memory and technical ability that far exceeds anyone that I know in this field. In many cases he not only replaces the wear materials during a rebuild, but he makes modifications or upgrades to fix the manufacturer's weaknesses. Of the more than 20 years that I have used State to State Transmissions I have only had one issue, it was a small thing, but Bill made it right immediately, what more can you expect?! This is a really great company, ran by an honest guy. I highly recommend State to State if you are having transmission problems with your vehicle.

I first used Revive Auto Care to replace a control arm on my Infiniti QX60. I found them on Yelp, appreciated their positive reviews, and liked that they communicated over text. That repair went well, so when my AC started blowing hot air, I decided to return. They initially charged me $100 for diagnostics and a refrigerant top-off, then told me I needed a new compressor and quoted approximately $1,200. I dropped the vehicle off on Tuesday. By Wednesday and Thursday, they still had not identified the issue, but they continued replacing parts including the compressor, condenser with receiver drier, premium line kit, secondary rear AC expansion valve, blend door actuator, cabin filter, and recharged the AC system. By Friday, the vehicle was still not repaired, and they ultimately determined that the battery was bad and not providing enough amperage to properly run the AC system. They replaced the battery and told me the issue was fixed, which naturally made me question whether all of the previously replaced parts were actually necessary. The total had also increased to approximately $2,500, and at no point during the process was I contacted for approval on the additional repairs and charges. When I picked up the vehicle Friday evening, the AC was still blowing hot air. In addition, the vehicle was revving abnormally both while driving and while sitting in neutral. It is now Tuesday, and my messages have gone unanswered. On Saturday, I brought the vehicle to Infiniti for another opinion. I was told that the AC system had been overcharged by 1.73 lbs of refrigerant, which they said was causing the issues I experienced after picking the car up. I understand that diagnosing AC problems can be difficult and unexpected issues can happen, but the lack of communication, failure to request approval for major additional repairs, and returning the vehicle in worse condition than when it was dropped off made this a very disappointing experience.
