I have been to three Shake Shacks in NYC and NJ, the quality and taste are consistent. I went to this Shake Shack after nearly a year. I raely eat hamburgers, because they do not taste the same to me as they did when I was younger. But this experience took me back in time, the meat so good, no after taste just meat real beef flavor, the bun and the onions and pickel made me enjoy I say again enjoy my meal. Im not a major fan of thier fries but they OKay. Its the sauce that shake shack sauce that pulled it all together. That sauce oOMG that sauce!!!!!! It was good to see shack shake in nj. Because I don't have to go to all the way to new York to get this hamburger. However, price and menu got over estimate that not worthy to pay 14 dollar to get a combo set. After having quite a few burgers like 25 burgers, 5 Guys, Smashburger (the worst of the group, IMO) and In & Out out in Cali, I have to say for flavor, Shake Shake is my favorite. I get the double smash burger, cheese fries, and if you are ever craving chicken, the chicken shack is a very tasty sandwich (much tastier than the Chik Filet in Flemington). I do agree it's a bit expensive but you're getting the taste and quality. The staff is also wonderful, keep up the good work! read more

Meh. Perhaps the reason it's named "shake shack" is due to its great Shakes but I haven't had those yet. I've had their non- sweet food (burgers, hot dogs, etc). Must say the crinkle cut fries are excellent! But their burgers and hotdogs are kind of blah. Not very flavorful. The main flavor I get from the burger is salt. Very salty food! The one time i went there, it wasn't a good experience. When i ordered a mushroom burger with cheese, you would have thought i was getting A HAMBURGER..... WITH MUSHROOMS on it, but thats not what it was. When i went back to the manager, i was told that they should have informed me that they only put mushrooms on the bun. After taking a bite of my wife's regular burger, i came to the conclusion that I could have gotten the same thing at just about any other burger chain out there. I may give it a chance again in the future, but for now I'm disappointed to say the least. read more

I love Shake Shack and this particular location. Giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I feel ripped off by the prices but I can't complain about the food. No I take that back.
