I've been to Share Tea before and I was saying, maybe I didn't get the right thing. There was something off about the milk tea when I had it and I couldn't figure out how to remedy it and make it better for the next time. I was desperately looking for a spot to get bubble tea and this was the closest place so I thought I would give it another shot. I got the blended taro slush with pudding and it was a good cup of bubble tea. I would probably get less sugar in it next time. My sister had a milk tea with lychee jelly and she said it was pretty good. If you have time, order in person, apps upcharge an additional $2 per cup. I thought $9 for bubble tea was outrageous and when I got there I realized it was the app's adding on their own fees. They're pretty fast so there was no reason to need to order for pick up and be upcharged. read more

I have had ShareTea many times at many locations but this was the worst. I ordered one of the most popular drinks, strawberry blended w lychee and ice cream. I asked for boba and less sweet. This tastes like water. No strawberry flavor and not even creamy from the ice cream. So disappointing for a $9 drink. Maybe it was just the person who made it didn't know what they were doing? It was not busy, I was the only customer and if I did t have to get to work I would have gone back and had it remade. There is a parking garage during day hours you can use and the inside was small but clean w seating. Do not go here! Worst bubble tea I've ever had, and it's not the brand but this specific store. The location is horrid(no parking), the store is filthy, it was ran by 16 yr olds who were too busy on their phones and goofing off to help me. The drink was make wrong and they had difficulty figuring out what drink was even mine. Once I got my drink I took a sip and instantly knew something was off. I love everything boba and milk teas and I find that wherever I go, I can always find a Sharetea somewhere. I've had Sharetea many times but each time it's just kind of okay... I always try something new, sometimes a fruit tea or a milk tea but recently I ordered a hot wintermelon milk tea. It came to me in a regular plastic cup and it was lukewarm. I tried it and it wasn't good but I asked if they could remake it and they were so sweet and accommodating. This time it was perfectly hot but the tea flavor wasn't that strong it was more milky tasting. Also the boba is just a little too hard. Overall, I'd go to Sharetea again if it's the only boba option around but it wouldn't be my first choice. read more

I live just around the corner and have been coming here for over a year. The quality has been steadily getting worse over time. The last straw for me, however, was today when I ordered a drink with coconut milk and they obviously watered it down with actual water. So disappointing, terribly run location. I live close to this boba shop that used to be really good. I usually order through Clover and just pick up my drinks at the shop. But lately, the new staff member hasn't been very friendly. One time, she refused to make my drink because she couldn't find my order--even after I showed her the receipt, confirmation email, and order number. Turns out, she didn't even realize they accept orders through Clover. Then on my last visit, she made the wrong drink. When I pointed it out, she gave me a look like she thought I was lying. I couldn't show her what I ordered because I used their kiosk, and the receipt printed from a machine only she can access. I think it's time to find a new boba shop. That's a big bummer. I've been trying to avoid writing negative reviews during this pandemic. When I arrived at ShareTea, the line was kinda problematic as most of the customers weren't really social distancing and a bunch of customers who had received their orders were just standing around nearby without their masks on. Not sure why they decided to loiter around the store instead of clearing out of the area with a lot of foot traffic. Ended up getting the handmade taro with fresh milk. Service was friendly and explained that they were out of some toppings. When I received my drink, I was given a standard sized straw since I didn't get any toppings since they were out of the ones I wanted. I left the shop and struggled to drink it bc the chunks of ice or taro were too big and ended up clogging the straw. I ended up walking back to the store and asked for the wider boba straw. I began drinking it again and it was a bit distracting how poorly blended it was. The chunks of taro and ice were large enough that I sorta had to chew to break it up before I could swallow. At times the straw was clogged bc the drink wasn't blended smoothly enough. Considering how expensive bubble tea drinks are...I was pretty disappointed in how my drink turned out since it wasn't really that enjoyable to drink with all the large chunks in it. Seriously though the place is always pretty empty and some of that jas to do with their fast service, but I also think people aren't giving this location a try. I went for my go to, taro blended... now depending on the place if they don't have egg pudding, I go boba. This place has sweetness levels and, i won't lie, i don't come here for the health benefits. I go full sweet, and its not overly sweet, but it is overly delicious. The egg pudding is a flan/creme brule type add in amd its amazing when you love both those things! I've never been a fan of tapioca pearls, but these ones were pretty good! It took a moment to get the right order in, hard to hear with my mask on, but I'm so happy I came. I got the Hokkaido pearl milk tea, 80% sweet with creama and that was perfect mix. Highly suggest trying it out if you are in area. We have been looking for something comparable to Kung Fu Tea and this may be pretty close. We love the options they offer here. Drinks come one size which i think is a large. Maybe they had others but with one price one most items I just assumed. You can order blended drinks, milk teas, etc. once you decide you can choose levels of sweetness and even how much ice you want. You can also add things like lychee, bobas, or red beans. My wife had the blended taro and added boba and red bean. She liked it a lot. I had honey milk tea extra sweet. It was really tasty but I could have used more sweetness. Just how I like it! They have punch cards to earn free drinks. We will go back if we are near one and need to wet our whistle. read more

One thing I am very hesitant to try is boba in Portland, in general the quality is very different from the ones in California/Seattle. I am usually disappointed by boba in Portland, unfortunately this ShareTea did the same. I've been to other ShareTea's around the west coast and have been satisfied. I ordered 3 milk tea drinks: 1 classic pearl milk tea half ice 50% sugar, 1 classic milk tea half ice and 50% sugar, 1 happy family QQ milk tea half ice 50% sugar. I asked for 50% sweetness on all of them. However, each drink had a very different level of sweetness. One was not sweet at all (classic milk tea)the other one was overtly sweet (classic pearl milk tea) and the other one was in the middle but still very sweet (happy family QQ milk tea). I'm not sure if the tastes varied because three different people made each drink or something else happened. However, I do think there should be some consistency amongst the milk teas if a certain sweetness is asked. The tea flavor was not very strong in the milk tea, it was more milk than tea, all the milk teas had black tea in it. The boba was chewy and good. Lastly, another drink I got was a Strawberry Ice Blended with boba & lychee jelly and orange flavor. The people seem to not know what this order was. When I tasted it, it tasted like lemon juice, there was no strawberry or orange flavor in it. Overall, I won't be visiting this ShareTea again. read more

Drinks: - I had the Honey Lemonade with Aloe Vera it was very sweet and tart. In retrospect I would've taken the sweetness down a bit. I really liked the aloe vera, it has a nice texture similar to a crisp grape - I had the Classic Black Milk tea. The boba is okay, if it were a little more chewy and gummy I'd like it a little more. The tea flavor slightly comes through. One of my favorite boba places. Their pearls are never bad and their service never disappoints. Their drinks always hit the spot and it's never too sweet or too bland. Some places taste different even though you order the same drink all the time but not sharetea. It's always the same recipe and the consistency of tasting good is why I love it so much! read more

Tip: They have a parking structure that is for retail from 7 am to 7 pm. If you leave after 7 pm, the gates will close but all you will have to do is drive up to it. The most important part is to be careful! The gates will swing towards your car if you are too close which is odd because you have to be close for it to sense you. Overall: A great experience that now saves me the trip to Beaverton for quality bubble tea! Location/Parking: Not a lot of shops nearby as it's on a busy intersection on Burnside. If you're not familiar with the area, I would highly recommend using Google street view before leaving because it can get really confusing with all the one way streets. There is a parking structure that is really nice but make sure to read my tip above. Service/Menu: I immediately got a very pleasant greeting and the crew thanked me for coming in as I was leaving. They didn't have many customers for a Friday night but I was still shocked at how fast the drinks came out. We ordered the QQ Happy Family Milk tea which was delicious with all the different toppings for $4.95. I wouldn't recommending getting less than 100% sugar because it wasn't even that sweet - then again, I have a semi-sweet tooth. read more

Sharetea is my fav boba spot! I'm so happy they opened this location for us on the east side of town so now I don't have to drive out to beaverton for my Sharetea fix! The drinks are still just as good as any other Sharetea, it's clean and the staff are nice! It's mostly street parking but there is a parking garage around the corner that's open 7am-7pm which is convenient! It's smaller than the Beaverton location but that's ok. Keeps the noise down Anyways I love the Okinawa milk tea with boba and grass jelly! The blended coffee with vanilla ice cream and the black tea or coffee crema is also a favorite of mine! read more

Great new addition to this area! It's a little different since they ask what you want the sweetness level to be. Sometimes you want a sweet pick me up, sometimes you want the taste without the sugar. They offer 0,30,50,80,100% sweetness. I'm in love with this idea!! The variety of add-ins is crazy! So many different jellies, pudding, aloe, lychee. Yes please. Yay! A Sharetea on this side of town, but do not get too excited just yet as the location is slightly tricky. The road that Sharetea sits on is Burnside, which is a one way. Depending on the direction you are coming from, you might or might not need to loop around a few times. Once you reach Sharetea, they do have retail parking available from 7am - 7pm, FREE. You better make sure to get in and out by 7pm as the gates will CLOSE on you! Moving on to the drinks... Walked inside, was greeted by a friendly staff member. Order was quick: lots of photos on the menu and pricing is clearly marked. We opt'd for the QQ Happy Family Milk Tea; it came with mixed toppings (red bean, boba, mini boba, pudding, and jelly on top). It was pretty good; we liked the mixture of toppings. The place is clean, bright and seems like a good hangout place with friends. However, the place seems a tad small for large groups though. They have a couch, a few small tables, and small selections of board games. Wifi is available for those who needs it. read more

I want to write a book one day in my life. However, until then, I will write this review to fulfill that dream, so here is my memoir of sharetea. Acknowledgements: Thank you to the members of Hinson Baptist Church. (I will only use first names, but you know who you are). Boba ministry will always remember Holly, Anthony, Geoff, Camille, Ashley, Andy, Michael, Mark, Stephen. Introduction: Portland was always lacking boba. I came to PDX in 2019 and there was literally like less than five spots. In 2021, there are like like 20 spots in the greater portland area. However, as a california native, my boba standards are high. For (4) this reason, I cannot give this a 5. However, for portland standards, this place deserves a five star rating. In good conscience, I cannot change my rating....unless I get free boba for a year or something : ) Chapter 1: Green milk tea. This is my standard. However, you have never had boba, you get the classic black milk tea. Boba is a good chewy consistency. However, I confess, I usually do not order the boba topping. But this does not stop me from ordering the drink. Classic green milk tea or classic black milk tea are staples to your stapler. Get em. Chapter 2: I have been expanding my adventures due to my lead pastor's recommendation. So, I tried the okinawa with the boba. This might be a new favorite. I felt like I was abandoning my classic green milk tea, but sometimes you got to switch it up. Conclusion: There are many drinks to try. However, through the boba ministry, I have realized that sharetea is a really good boba spot in the greater portland area. So definitely check it out. Here again today and this sharetea is still a complete mess. Not organized at all and wait is very long. Where to line up is not marked on the floor and it's a mess. I will never come back to this sharetea again. Don't really care how the drinks are going to taste at this point. Also just saw a customer send their drink back because they did something wrong and they too his straw out, added something and sealed the cup again. I ordered 4 drinks 3 milk tea, 1 blended in the afternoon. There was no one there at the time of ordering and there were two staff present. I used the kiosk system to place my order and sat, waiting for the drinks. About 5 minutes passed and the staff didn't seem to notice there being an order, and were talking about ordering food and even attempting to call a place. I went up to ask about the order and one staff member apologized and started to work on it but with (for lack of a better phrase) little sense of urgency. It was just one person making it. They started talking about ordering food again with them having their conversation quite loud with multiple pauses in between the one staff making the order. The whole thing took about 20 minutes when there was no one there other than me the entire time. Boba was hard, drinks were watered down, and service was poor. read more

The Portland location is finally opened. This is good and bad for me... the good part is that I can easily get one during work hours... the bad part is that I can easily get one during work hours. The quality is pretty much the same as the one in Cedar Hills. They are are currently in the soft opening phase and are working on improving the efficiency of getting out the orders quickly. Yes! New Sharetea in Portland. Today is the first day of their soft opening. There wasn't a line so it didn't take long to order my drinks. The menu is a bit different from the other Sharetea. My favorite Mango Crema is not on the menu. I had to order the crema as an added topping. I was only allowed to add 2 topping per drink, even though I offered to pay extra. I'm hoping this is because of the 20% off promotion. I also ordered a mango mojito with 50% sweetness. It was still pretty sweet. Overall, the drinks are very good like the other locations. The staff go out of their way to welcome you. The drinks did take a bit longer to be completed since it's their first day. I will come back and hopefully get to add more than 2 toppings. Love sharetea! I called before coming since I was craving tea on thanksgiving day and I was glad they're opened! They were pretty busy when I got there and possibly because it was thanksgiving day so they didn't have enough people working but despite all that, everyone there was very friendly and professional. We like coming to this location of Sharetea. It's a lot closer to us than Beaverton. The staff is young, friendly and enthusiastic. They are taking covid seriously here and have blocked off areas as well as taped floors to support social distancing. The drinks and variety here is good. I wouldn't say it's always consistent though as Beaverton is in flavor and amount of toppings. Pre covid this is a great spot to catch up with friends, I wouldn't necessarily come here to study as it can get loud considering how small the cafe space is. read more

The drink was good, the oolong tea has a dense fragrance in it. The service on the other hand is not as good as expected. I was there around 630pm yesterday. While waiting for the drinks, I opened the clover app and saw they have a rewards program. So when I pick up my order, I asked the guy of I can get a code for the clover app to claim my drinks, he then gave a long sigh as if he was annoyed by my question. The milk tea is not good, if definitely water down, with no tea flavor at all, plus, the sweet syrup from the lychee jelly makes the drink tastes sweeter and weird too. This place is great because it offers fresh milk options and so many other places don't. The quality is great and the employees are nice but the prices are inconsistent. The first time I went in a bought a fresh milk tea it was $4.75. The second time was $5.25. Am I supposed to be paying extra for boba or does it come with my tea?
