This week I had a fantastic service experience there when I brought my Mach E in for its 20K wheel rotation and alignment service, and it was so great that I decided to post this review (which I rarely do). The work was done efficiently but what was most impressive was the care and attention the Service Rep, Preston Hall, provided. He ensured that the entire process was clearly explained to me up front, that I was kept informed throughout, and - as I chose to stay at the dealership and wait for my vehicle work to be done, rather than be driven home, which Preston offered - that I was comfortable and kept informed for the 1 1/2 hours I was there. He even provided a free car wash. It was just a routine trip to the car dealership to get my a tire rotation and alignment done. It could have felt like a chore, but it turned out to be an excellent service experience, which made my day! read more

I was very disappointed at the fact that Sheehy Ford charged me $222 for a diagnostic test that resulted in the finding of a faulty spark plug and coil in cylinder #1 and subsequently attempted to get me to agree to a repair at the cost of $1650... And I guess is on me because I just don't know much about cars and trust the dealer to be fair with its assessments and services... First... Highway theft if you were to ask me... the cost of the parts alone could not surpass a $100... Second... the hardest thing to do here was to change the spark plug... a job that would only take an inexperience person like myself no more than 30 minutes (no parts were internal and everything was on top of the engine toward the back end by the oil dipstick)... and in order to get to the spark plugs, you have to remove the coils... so it f Third... $1650!!! Wao!!! To change a spark plug and a coil! No offense to our great mechanics as they are one of the hardest working professionals in the world but I got the impression that I was dealing with Brain Surgeons conducting a death or life surgical procedure or Plastic Surgeons trying to make me look as beautiful as Taylor Swift?? As I found out through YouTube, This type of job should be very easy for your mechanics to do with their eyes closed? Of course, I declined the "service" and did it myself by watching a YouTube video (again, Highway theft... perhaps some form of racketeering going on)... And the car ended up perfect even though it was repaired by me... Unequivocally the worst customer service experience I have ever had. The only reason they get 1 star is because my purchasing experience here with Max was quick and easy. Their service department is abysmal. Aside from the usual communication, cost, and timing issues you see at most dealers, they have made 2 inexcusable mistakes over the past 4 years I have been servicing my vehicle with them. 1) A couple hours after dropping my vehicle off for an oil change/routine maintenance I received a phone call saying a lube tech had dinged the door, but it was buffable and would be fixed the next day. Not really an issue. After not hearing back the next day I called to get an update: the only person who could buff it out wouldn't be back until Monday. Fine. Don't hear anything Monday, so I called Tuesday. "Well the damage is a little worse than expected and your vehicle is at the body shop down the street". Seeing red, my only option was to go to the body shop and see for myself. dents, gauges, scratches stretched from the headlight to taillight on my extended cab, full length bed, f-150. I was told Sheehy would be covering the cost of the fix (duh!), but wouldnt provide a loaner or any other sort of compensation (my vehicle had technically been in a crash now, loss of value was a concern). After repeated attempts to speak with a manager, and eventually the GM, the final settlement was the free fix (duh!!!!) and a $150 service credit. HORRIBLE. 2) Took my vehicle in for a warning light, nothing was actually wrong so clearly an electric/wiring type of issue, and was charged $500 for the fix. Fine. The moment i drove off the lot, that same warning light came back on. At the next service appointment I pointed this out and was told they would look into it. After doing their inspection of the vehicle I was informed the $500 worth of parts I was charged for were NEVER installed. Apologies for the long winded review. Cannot express enough how much you should NOT bring your vehicle to Sheehy for service. read more

Avoid getting any repairs done here at all costs. They are not honest and do not do a good job. I had to bring in my car for an air bag recall. I was also having an issue with my door handle. I was never told that there was a diagnosis fee. The estimate for the door handle replacement was $520 which is outrageous. The diagnosis fee cost me $197.45. To do it myself cost $12.71 and was completed in under 15 minutes. I asked the person at the service center for a detailed breakdown of the parts and labor for the estimate and you can see in the image what I was provided. So to summarize: my cost = $12.71 vs. Sheehy Ford cost = $720. Aside from that ripoff, the mechanics did not even properly put the door back on. There are 2 star-head screws. One goes on the side, which was only slightly screwed in. I used my fingers for about one full turn to pull it out. The screw on the bottom was missing completely. I'm guessing it was on the shop floor and is now in someone else's tire. Improperly securing a driver side door. Safety... not a priority at Sheehy Ford Springfield. Please do the research and find a small shop that is not in the business of quantity over quality. They are liars and incompetent. Would not recommend coming here if you're in the market for a car purchase. We came to this Ford location since we saw they had the car we were looking at in stock. We were super open about our budget while viewing the vehicle and how the MSRP was ~$5K+ above what we were willing to spend (and what we saw on Kelley Blue Book before coming in). They gave the whole "we'll do what we can" bit and we went inside to crunch numbers. The offer that came out was $11k ABOVE what we saw on MRSP. They included a "market adjustment" on top of MSRP. We were very clear what we were willing to spend, and they never mentioned this lil' market adjustment BS. Total waste of time and no transparency at all. He listened to me, led me through the process, explained everything very well, answered all my questions and then some, educated me on things I didn't know on the car I was buying even though the one I was buying was the same make and model (different year) as the one I had previously owned such as educating me that the one I was buying didn't have a CV transmission (which have a history of problems so thank God). I purchased a 2021 Mustang Mach 1 (photo included) from Sheehy back on May 14th. I had a good experience and got a decent deal on a vehicle that was very difficult to find. My salesman, Mike, the sales manager (forgot his name -- sorry!), and Tina in finance were all 5-star. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. I want to make special mention of Monica, who is in the title department. Boy did I mess up bigtime. For the last 4 months I was waiting for the paperwork so I could get my registration and my specialty plate for my new Mach 1. I called the dealership and then I called Ford Corporate to help me get the paperwork for the reg and the plate and after several calls, I was very flustered because I was getting nowhere. I left an angry message on Monica's voicemail to call me about all of this and about an hour later she returned my call. What I didn't realize until 9/13 after speaking with Monica was that she had already mailed me the new registration and a check for a tax overpayment back in July. I know...wtf...right? I realized right away that I gotta own this one. Keep reading to see why... Now I have to give Monica a lot of credit. I was really angry and giving her both barrels because I thought she had messed up and not sent me the paperwork but she remained calm and professional during every second of my tirade and explained that she had sent me a tax check and the completed reg back in July. I checked my bank acct and lo and behold, I had cashed the check on 7/22 without remembering having done so. She emailed me the completed reg and the memorandum title as well and it was at that moment that I felt like a slug. Yep, I was definitely wrong and there was no doubt about it. I apologized and thanked Monica for emailing me the reg and memorandum title. I was finally able to go to the BMV today and fill out the paperwork to get my specialty plate "TWI5T0R" (because the Mach 1 is twister orange and she's got a 5.0....creative, right?) Now I did mention to Monica that for a $799.00 doc fee, the dealership should be fedexing paperwork and checks vs. snailmailing them because that is what caused all of the confusion. I was always used to getting a Fedex envelope and when I received a regular snailmail envelope, I just didn't realize that that was the actual completed reg and that I could go to the BMV anytime to get my specialty plate. But none of that was Monica's fault because that is how the dealership instructed her to mail paperwork. I simply suggested that the dealership should be Fedexing docs and checks, not snailmailing. Take the $20 for the overnight out of the $799.00 and avoid these types of SNAFUs. Well...anyway...all's well that ends well. It aint Bertram and Helena, but I have my Mach 1, and i'll get the new plate for her in about 7-10 days. They purposely leave it void of price to try and fool you into paying service fees 3-4x the price it should be. Horrible mechanics that don't have tools needed to do certain jobs and will not attempt to help you. General rule of business if you can either have good service and bad prices, or bad service and good prices. This place is an absolute dumpster fire mixture of both with predatory prices and horrible service. Managers are stacked up ready with technical rules they can use to justify not refunding you the $100+ to provide a service that takes 30 seconds (that of course they didn't tell you the price of). Do not come here. Find anywhere else. I'm submitting claims to the better business bureau for price gouging and misleading the price of services but I thought I would come on here just to make sure no one continues to support this place. These guys literally only worked on my car when I'd call in and complain. Preston was my rep. If you get Preston, Request someone else. He's a liar. He told me my diagnostic would be done by end of the day Monday. by Wednesday I heard nothing so i called and got sent to voice mail twice before complaining to another department and finally getting through to Preston. I told him that he needed to share the diagnostic report with geico. 4 days pass and he doesn't send the report. so i go back the following Monday, and Preston starts blaming me for not communicating with him, even though he's the one who had done 0 work on my car unless i complained and made 0 effort to keep me informed or return my calls. Then his boss gets involved, stats telling me that the job is going to be $1,500 when the replacement part is $250 because apparently, it takes hours but I've seen people on youtube (not auto mechanics, just regular people) do the job in 10 minutes. Last time i was there I needed my turn signal part replaced - it would always fall so the left turn signal would be on. You can see it as soon as you sit in the vehicle. They wanted $1100 to fix it. I said no thank you I think thats overpriced. They came back and asked me for a dignostic fee of $200 for something that was visibly broken. I ended up getting it repaired for $125. Avoid this place. This is not my typical dealer. Traveling for work I started having front break problems. Service advisor was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Took two hours to diagnose that I needed new front brakes which should have taken a half hour. New brakes installed for a ridiculous cost, but not surprising. Problem started a few days after I drive home from the dealer. I don't use my car everyday, when I started driving I heard a metallic sound like something was loose. As I'm going down the highway it began to get louder. Stopped and turned the wheels hard passenger to see what the problem was. The mechanic left a large metal hook, probably used to hang the break caliper attached to the coil spring. Not impressed, if this had come loose it could have easily punctured my tire. Feb 2023, I spent $500 on services (to include an oil change). Since April 2002, I have driven 1700 miles. Today, I was given a quote for $3300 of "required maintenance." At 5 pm, I spoke to the service desk and declined the additional maintenance and was informed that the maintenance (Ford Factory Service) that I requested was completed and that my car would be returned to me today. They have not returned my vehicle; I called the dealership at 7:49 pm and was told that the service center closed at 7 pm; no keys were left at the main desk so I would have to get my car when the service center opens at 7 am. Bought a new car from this place. Worst mistake I ever made. I was sold a 2023 explorer timberline with a backup camera recall. Yes, I knew this going in but they were able to sell it to me because they were given the green light that the vehicle would be good to go the following week. I called every week and was given the same answer, "next week". The seller knew we were PCS'ing on a certain date and I was told over and over again that it would be ready. PCS day is tomorrow and no vehicle. After speaking to the manager, I was issued a refund for the vehicle. Unfortunately, this refund could take one business day and I can't get another loan until this situation is resolved. For future buyers...I'd really consider finding business elsewhere. I went in to get my brake pads fixed and when I got the call (from Sean) to let me know my car was done, I was told the total cost would be about $640 - a little higher than I was expecting, but not too concerning. So I go in to pick up my car a couple of days later and they tell me the total is $1,306!! I was absolutely dumbfounded and since Sean wasn't there, nobody had an answer for why the costs about doubled. These people wouldn't even look me in the eye. On the morning of July 23 2021, I went online to this dealership's website to see if they were buying cars without a trade. Their website indicated they were, so I proceeded with their We Buy Cars link. After accurately answering all the questions about my car, it displayed a "Trade-in Value" of $30,887. The follow-up email showed the lower range was $28,460. So a few hours later after multiple texts and calls from a salesman named Min, I took my car in. They offered me $25,000 for my car! The excuse was that the market is really changing. I asked how it changed since this morning?! The manager came over saying the same thing and there was no way they were honoring the price range they emailed to me. He claimed that was just KBB value. I told him it showed trade-in value and he admitted maybe it shouldn't have shown that figure. This dealership clearly wasn't acting in good faith by offering me $3,460 LESS THAN the lower price range they email to me! They wasted my time and insulted my intelligence. As a mature woman I have learned to be cautious when dealing with car salesmen - for good reason. But the blatant show of a lack of integrity by this dealership, is a real low. I recently purchased a used 2018 Toyota Tundra Limited from sheehy ford. I live three hours away. I communicated with a salesman via talk and text both who assured me multiple times the vehicle didn't have any imperfections and that it was "close to factory" condition. I also fell for the trap of "we've had a lot of people looking at that truck, we just lowered the price, we've had a ton of calls, it's gonna sell quick." (My fault). I bought the truck sight unseen. The following week I drove from Hampton Roads to pick it up. I showed up 30 minutes before the dealer opened. Upon inspection of the truck, there were razor blade scrapes around the entire perimeter of the truck where someone scraped off the pinstripe decal. The bed of the truck was beat to heck. The liner was compromised in multiple places, along with around 10-15 dents in the bed of the truck not disclosed in the ad or pics. Plastic trim piece over front bumper had a gouge. Front bumper on both corners damaged, and around another 15 scratches, dents, and imperfections on the vehicle. I met my salesman when the dealership opened, and told him not to worry about finding the keys, I wanted my money back. He said no problem I'll get my manager. The used car manager came out and asked what he could do to make me not go home without the vehicle. I told him he'd have to make the truck look "close to factory, and near perfect" like it was sold to me. His response was "what do you expect it's a used truck?" Then proceeded to laugh at me. Then he pointed at the damage and said "This? This? This is nothing!" Like I'm the a-hole for being upset about the condition of the vehicle. I got a little heated. Some words were exchanged. They tried buffing the scratches out while I waited. I got my money back. Everyone was very nice except the dick bag used car manager, who about caught a left. The store manager was very professional, didn't try to pressure me in to keeping it, and offered to send it to a body shop at no charge to me to try to make it right. I appreciated him offering me some options and exercising due diligence. In my opinion they lose a star for making me drive up three hours for a vehicle that had damage that wasn't disclosed. If I could, I would give -5 stars. The quality of service at this location is severely lacking. I took my car a couple of weeks ago to get my sun visor looked at because it kept hanging down at the hinge. After the mechanic took a look at it, they told me it was going to be over $100 for this simple job ($60 for the part, $55 for the installation). I did my research on the part and it turns out they quoted me for a part on a completely different car. "Glitch error in the system that will sometimes happen" they said. Seems like something that should be immediately addressed to me... We re-ordered the "correct" part and when I come to pick it up a week later, they ordered THE WRONG PART AGAIN. Because I did my research, I told them what part I think was needed and had them order it. I picked it up and installed it myself in ~ 5 minutes. The part that I actually needed only cost me $15 vs the $100 they originally quoted me. Overall, I really question the competency of the mechanics at this Ford location. They clearly did not know or spend the appropriate amount of time to correctly diagnosis and resolve my issue. This was supposed to be a simple fix that took weeks and they still could not correctly fix it. My advise: RESEARCH THE ISSUE YOU HAVE OR GET A SECOND OPINION BEFORE YOU WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE! read more

They lie about their inventory and their inventory specials don't trust them. Those vehicles never exist and the sales people always introduce themselves as the sales manager but when whenever its convienent for them they claim they arent a manager and that even if they were they couldnt do anything. Just another excuse for terrible service. read more

Them Boys, Them Boys, Them Boys! It was an incredibly wonderful experience. Every salesman there treated me like I was their own treasured grandma. No hype, no pushiness, no gimmicks. Lots of jokes and smack talk too (which I loved) I went back and forth for over a month. And every time I returned, them boys made me feel like I was the life of the party and they were just waiting on me to arrive and get the party started! Jake & Jacob (father & son), Jeremy, Roman, Tyler, Zach and Max. And don't forget Tina the awesome finance lady too. I've been taking my Ford F-150 to a ford dealer since I purchased the truck in 2015 for all service repairs or maintenance. Since I moved here in 2018, I continued to take my truck to the dealer. Since I've taken it to Sheehy they have always tried to upsell me on services that they claim I needed. I didn't know any better so I would always bite. A couple of years ago they told me I needed a new oil pan. Because it was still under the truck's warranty I consented. A couple of weeks ago they told me that my truck needed a new oil pan AGAIN! I've had my truck for at least 5 years before needing an oil pan replacement. I've never ever had to replace an oil pan in any of my vehicles and now I am having it to replace it twice. Either they didn't replace it the first time, or they did a crappy job replacing it the first time. On top of it all, they quoted me an outrageous amount. I took the vehicle to a repair shop nearby and paid 1/4 less. I'll never take any of my vehicles back to Sheehy again. Or even consider buying a vehicle from them. read more

Took my car in for an oil leak and it was still leaking after which was confirmed by the manager but they still would not issue a refund, only offered to try to fix it again. This was my 3rd time trying with the awful place. Terrible service. terrible management. read more

The customer service is horrible at the service center. By reading all the other reviews they do not exaggerate on their experiences. Even spoken to spoke with service managers and told me they would change. I do like my ford F150 but too bad this place give Ford a bad name. I even emailed the general manager and got no response. They do not care about the customers who keep them in business. read more

I'm still on hold with the service department as I type this review. 45 minutes! I dropped off my F-150 on Sat for fairly simple repairs - broken turn signal housing, bent running board, new bed cover. Since I dropped off the truck, I've received no status calls. I told them I'd be out of town until Thursday and they assured it would be done by then. It's Thursday, 5:30 pm. I called at 4:15 for a status report. I've been passed to 3 different people and still have not heard the status of my truck. How do you keep a customer on hold for 45 min?? Now 51 min. read more
