Good food at a reasonable price. The two people set meals are enough to feed two. Sides are plentiful and refillable. Lots of people even on weekday lunches. Makes the place lively. Free parking in lot !

Great local spot for Korean BBQ! The food is always fresh, consistent, and you get a lot of food for a great price. I always get the spicy chicken bulgogi, they make it in the kitchen and it's delicious. Service is excellent and fast. Super baby/family friendly with high chairs, stroller/wheelchair access, and plenty of parking. One of our family favorites whenever we're craving KBBQ!

A no-frills KBBQ spot in Northridge for reasonably priced and delicious KBBQ. I shared the non-marinated brisket and pork belly, which was perfectly filling for 2 and quite satisfying. The banchan selection was pretty standard, and service was very efficient and they would regularly help us cook our meats too. At times, they were so efficient that we almost felt a bit rushed, but it was also a busy Saturday dinner. Of note, they do add an automatic 18% gratuity for parties of 4 or more. Plenty of parking in the parking lot.

Lots of free parking and a Bank of America nearby make this an excellent spot to eat at. It was clean and inviting upon arrival. The hostess was so kind and helpful. She told us how to order and offered us more side dishes. We got the two person beef and pork belly lunch for two and it included soup and rice. I found it to be very authentic. Order some hot roasted corn tea. It's the perfect drink when having yummy grilled meats and other Korean flavors. The bathroom was clean and you leave full and happy. I highly recommend it.

Ala carte korean bbq. They have set meals that will get you full. The servers are very friendly and attentive. We always go here whenever we are craving for korean bbq. Its authentic, most of their patrons are koreans so you know its legit.

I came here by myself a couple weeks ago because I'd been dying to try this place and finally made it in. Everything was honestly delicious and lived up to the hype. The prices are a bit high for one person, but the quality and flavors definitely make it worth it. My server was amazing and went above and beyond with service and recommendations, a little more attentive than I even expected, but still really appreciated. I did accidentally burn myself on the soup, so just be careful because it comes out really hot, but it was still so good I kept eating it anyway lol. Overall, great experience and I would definitely recommend checking it out.

If you are fortunate enough to meet Jon you will have the best experience here. He is truly what makes this place more of a gem than it already is. He gave us the authentic experience. I felt like I came into his home and he was sharing his home cooked meals with us. This is a family owned business by him and his mom. Anyway. Great place, does get busy so when it's busy -have some patience. Ps ask to try their 3 bean paste soup or their Korean version of Menudo

We went last night for dinner and again had a great experience. We ordered one of the korean bbq platters that came with cold noodles. All of the meat cuts were delicious, banchan is refillable and on point, and the cold noodles at the end were refreshing and delectable. Great service if you are able to flag down the waitresses. Great spot for families, couples, and small groups. Please note that they automatically include gratuity on all dining so make sure you check your receipt carefully so you don't double tip, unless you want to.

So many variations and lots of meat!

shik do rak (name of restaurant on Devonshire) Mr. Jon Kim was a kind server, making wonderful recommendations to create mouth watering bites. First visit: steak and pork belly. Second visit: Short ribs and brisket. So many housemade sides to add to the meats. Tasty and worthy spot to eat, more than enough in portion sizes. If it's your first time eating Korean BBQ they will help choose meats/combos. Definitely worth the visit. TIP: A nice date night place with the hot plate table experience. Hidden gem with great prices

    Do they have Bossam here?

If you are thinking of the traditional Bossam (steamed pork belly), they don't serve that here. They DO serve pork belly that you can grill at the table.

Do they have indoor seating as of Oct 2021?

Yes , it's indoor . The food is great.

What is the name of the soup that they serve with the side dishes?

I think it's the moo gook (Korean radish soup). I don't think they serve that anymore.

Anybody know the name of the bomb sauce they serve?

There are 2 sauces the they and most Korean BBQ restaurants will serve. 1) Sesame Oil with Salt & Pepper…

    Is it AYCE?

    No is not.

My coworkers ordered the Chicken Gangjeong in both the Soy Garlic and Sweet & Spicy flavors. I only had a bite of each, but both were juicy and seemed to be made with dark meat chicken. The Soy Garlic was actually sweeter than the Sweet & Spicy, which caught me off guard, while the Sweet & Spicy had more of a mild heat than an overwhelming kick. I ordered the Grandma Tteokbokki at spice level 2 and added melted cheese and ramen. Those add-ons were absolutely worth it. The cheese made the sauce extra creamy, while the ramen soaked up all of the flavor and turned it into a hearty, comforting meal. Spice level 2 had a nice kick without overpowering the dish, making it easy to enjoy from start to finish. Overall, everything we tried was satisfying, and I'd happily come back to work my way through more of the menu. If you're ordering the tteokbokki, I definitely recommend adding the cheese and ramen--you won't regret it.

The Rose was really good, but it was a little too rich for me. I personally preferred the Grandma Tteokbokki. I also liked the larger tteok over the mini tteok because it was softer and chewier. Adding ramen and cheese is a must! The cashier was also really nice. Even though he was new, he was able to answer all of our questions and provided excellent service. The restaurant was super clean, organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back the next time we make a trip to SoCal!

We stopped by on a Tuesday for lunch, and nostalgia definitely did not disappoint. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy a meal. The Jjolmyeon has always been our all-time favorite from the LA location, so ordering it was a no-brainer. And wow... it somehow tasted even better here! We also ordered the Yuk Kalguksu (육칼국수) and Gun Mandu (군만두), and everything hit the spot. The Yuk Kalguksu came with such a generous portion that I happily finished the noodles, enjoyed some of the rich, spicy broth, and still had enough soup and beef to box up for another meal. Talk about a bonus dinner! The mandu was perfectly crispy and paired so well with the refreshing, chewy jjolmyeon. For us, a restaurant earns a spot in our regular rotation only if it checks three boxes: delicious food, friendly service, and cleanliness. Hodori easily checks all three. In fact, I came back after work the very same day to pick up dinner for the family (because one visit clearly wasn't enough ). We ordered Galbi Ugeoji Haejangguk (갈비 우거지 해장국), Galbitang (갈비탕), Tteokbokki (떡볶이), Samgyetang (삼계탕), and Yukgaejang (육개장). I placed the order before leaving work, and by the time I arrived about 15 minutes later, everything was neatly packed and ready to go. As a working mom, finding a restaurant that serves delicious food, offers great service, and makes takeout this effortless feels like striking gold. It saves me time in the kitchen while keeping everyone's tummies full and happy. Safe to say, Hodori has officially earned a permanent spot on our takeout list.

The name immediately brought back memories of Koreatown, so naturally we had to see what they were all about. The place is clean, service was quick, and the menu had enough variety that everyone in the family could find something they wanted - which, if you have kids, is already a small victory. I know some people have commented that the prices are high, but honestly... what isn't expensive these days? Have you seen the price of groceries lately? Restaurants have rent, employees to pay, quality ingredients, utilities, etc., so I'm not expecting 1995 prices in 2026. If the food is good and we leave happy, I'm good. We ordered a few soups, kimchi fried rice, and tonkatsu, and everything came out pretty quickly. It was a hearty meal and we definitely didn't leave disappointed. And here's the real selling point for tired parents: they have TWO large screens. One plays Disney and the other has sports. Brilliant. Everyone gets what they want, and Mom and Dad can actually finish a meal while it's still hot. That alone deserves bonus points. They're also connected to a boba shop next door, which we didn't get a chance to check out this time. But we'll definitely be trying it on our next visit. Overall, a nice addition to the neighborhood. Good food, quick service, and Disney + sports to keep the entire family happy. Honestly, that's a win in my book.
