Walking in, you can tell this is a classic neighborhood café. There's nothing overly fancy about it--just a few tables, a small pastry case, and, of course, coffee. One thing that surprised me was the music choice. They were playing what sounded like punk rock, which felt a little out of place for the atmosphere of the café, especially since many of the customers appeared to be older adults. For my order, I went with a blueberry muffin and a cappuccino. The muffin was fresh and flavorful, and the cappuccino was well made. Overall, I was happy with both items. The reason I'm taking off a star is because the employee working during my visit used a lot of profanity while speaking. I understand that casual conversation happens, but I don't think that kind of language is appropriate in a café setting where customers are trying to relax and enjoy their coffee. Overall, I would recommend this place if you're looking for a quick grab-and-go coffee or pastry. The food and drinks were good, but the atmosphere wasn't ideal for sitting down to study, work, or have a conversation with someone.

I'm glad we finally tried it. It's a small coffee shop right off Embarcadero with a simple setup. They have refrigerators with cold drinks, can make both hot and iced coffee, and also offer a small selection of pastries such as muffins, croissants, bagels, and cinnamon rolls. They also sell coffee to take home. There really isn't indoor seating, but that did not bother us at all. You're right by the coast, and there are tables outside in the breezeway along with areas near the dock where you can stand and enjoy your drink. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The menu is displayed on a TV screen near the entrance, which made ordering easy. I ordered a large iced Mexican mocha, and it was excellent. You could actually taste the spice in it rather than it just tasting like a regular mocha with a different name. I would absolutely order it again. One small thing that really stood out to me was their discount program. Near the register, they had a multicolored flag recognizing several groups including military, law enforcement, EMS, firefighters, dispatchers, and nurses. Before ringing us up, the employee pointed to it and asked whether any of those applied to us. I told her I was a nurse, and she immediately gave me 10% off. I thought that was a really nice touch. Discounts for military and first responders are common, but nurses are not always included, so I appreciated the recognition. Between the good coffee, friendly staff, convenient location, and thoughtful service, I really have nothing negative to say about this place. I would absolutely come back and would gladly try more of their drinks and pastries next time I'm in Morro Bay.

Ate it while driving so that really facilitated us getting home before the traffic. It was a very hearty burrito the rock harburrito. Gave us some green sauce to go with it. And it was just amazing. The inside is somewhat cramped with many tables and chairs. She also sells baked goods. And some random things. Like coffee mugs and other things. The interior has an inviting decor, but seating is limited. There are also outdoor tables along the side the building. The Rock Shoyu Ramen had a good amount of noodles along with three good-sized pieces of pork belly (albeit a bit fatty), pickled fresno peppers & shallots, topped with green onion, an ajitama, umami-rich egg and a sheet of nori. The broth was complex with the duck fat and togarashi; it is noted the broth contains pork, chicken and dasmi. It was excellent. Their Beef Bulgogi Bowl was quite good. It consisted of four char grilled filet mignon skewers (2 pieces per skewer), kimchi, shredded carrots & daikon, pickled red onion, avocado slices, over herbed brown rice and topped with green onions, black sesame seeds, basil and a gochujang glaze. The portion was generous and quite filling. Service was friendly, and our selections were delivered in short order from the kitchen.

If you order a drink it's self serve as well. The poki bowl was abundant and I got half rice and half greens, the cubes fish was fresh. I just wished couple of sauces were offered such as eel or teriyaki sauce, ponzu sauce, or spicy mayo sauce on the side. The sauces would have given it the extra life. Now the ramens....complete passes on both. Noodle texture was probably the best thing for both ramens. Both broth was too sweet and it didn't pass for me as a tasty ramen of any sort. Edible...sure, but I wouldn't come back to eat this.
