Was debating on leaving a review but damn for tipping the guy who did my pedi $20 and my mani guy $20 I was disappointed in the end result. I'm from OC and normally get my nails done in cypress but couldn't stand the commute anymore so I looked around Yelp for one near me and this was the closest shop. I paid the same amount that I would've at my normal place which is 110 for both mani and pedi, I usually get dip because I work on cars and the dip usually lasts me longer than gel. I told Peter this and he recommended putting nail polish on top of the dip (which I even said was odd because I've never had a tech do nail polish on top of the dip other than maybe for designs). One day later the nail polish on top is peeling and chipping away and one of my nails broke from just doing dishes. In total I spent 150 on nails that look weeks old. Getting the nails done wasn't the issue, just the quality of the nails was disappointing. read more

Open on a Sunday?!?! It's Mother's Day and all I ready wanted was a mani and pedi. It's been months due to budget constraints but I really needed it! Hubby called around and found a shop nearby that was open and taking walk-ins. I was iffy at first because trying new salons can be a hit or a miss, especially if your feet are in the condition mine were in . It took about 20 minutes to be seen which was to be expected since I was a walk-in, its mothers day, and only 4-5 people on staff. I wish that I could remember the name of the man who did my mani, but he was excellent and funny lol. But the hero of this story is Phu my pedicurist. Of course he could tell that it had been a while since my last pedicure (and I'm a dance teacher so there's that) but he was a professional and didn't make me feel bad about it. He took his time and definitely deserved a larger tip for his efforts. I got the deluxe mani and pedi which came out to $95 with gel polish on both, but the massage for both arms and legs was well worth it! I like this spot because it's 0.5 miles away and they do a good job. My only criticism is that they have a better gauge on scheduling and wait time. I have a busy schedule so I can't afford to wait 30-45 minutes after a booked appointment. I'm fine if a business is busy as it indicates their popularity but a part of running a good business is also in being able to hit your scheduled appointments rather than over committing and it risking the lost of potential long term clientele. read more

Only advise I can give you; STAY AWAY!! Unless you want your natural nails to get ruined and filed to the bone.. It took so long to grow and strengthen my nails. Nice little nail shop I stumbled upon while my son got his hair cut next door. Even the woman barber said this place is great & showed me her nails after being done for 2 weeks. They looked awesome! I HIGHLY recommend you make an appointment or you'll be waiting awhile because when I went they were a tad bit short staffed. The workers are very polite & offer bottles of water while you're being serviced/wait. My nail lady was Rachel. Not only is he work great, but she's fast & extremely polite. I needed to get my nails done right when we got to LA and this place was super close to our Air BnB! Super simple salon - with the classic pedi chairs and a few seats for manicures. Not the cleanest but thats ok! I was provided water when I sat down and I love that. A gentleman did my names and he did a great job! He understood what I wanted and normally this takes a while but he was super quick. He looked at the photo I had on my phone for reference and got all the right things. What I wanted: Coffin shaped nails with a chrome ombré and jewels on my ring nails. He did have a hard time with the ombré but hey, that is hard to do! Overall it looks great and I walked out a happy customer. I did get gel and it was a fill so in total it was $51. Not bad for all the additional things I added. I went on a Monday afternoon for a full set of acrylics. I tried to call to make an appointment but their phone wasn't even ringing. I went straight to a dial tone. When I got there they were very nice. I was upset that he didn't cut my cuticles. He went straight to the acrylics after removing my gel polish. The set of acrylics I got was really messy. The lengths of each nail weren't even. I asked for oval shape. Some looked nice but others were uneven. Also, he didn't properly file down underneath my nails even after I asked him to. I wanted silver chrome nails but ended up with purple chrome nails. They had trouble finding the correct dip jar and ended up giving me a different color. I still liked the color but it wasn't the one I pointed out from their selection. The worst part is that they started chipping 3 DAYS later. Very unhappy with the set I got. read more

I've given this place 3 chances. They are alway behind. Had a appointment waited 1 hours. Came to soak off nails and do a dip mani but they can't do it. I found this salon via Yelp, just looking for a place close to my home was the priority. I called them just after their opening on a Sunday and was able to get a same-day appointment for a regular mani-pedi. Also, it was $35.00 such a great price for the service. The staff was friendly and did a great job. The only reason I'm not giving it 5-stars is that I had to wait 15-minutes to get seated after my appointment time but that was just my luck. Others were able to walk in later and were seen almost immediately. They take all major credit cards and Zelle which made it super easy for me to pay without having to mess up my fresh manicure.
