My recent experience was completely unpleasant. One of the groomers slit my dog's neck in the process of grooming and had to be taken to emergency. My dog had to be put to sleep and had to get stitches. The person that actually cut my dog never came out to apologize. The owner said he was in the back still crying. After 2 weeks he has yet to apologize. However the groomer did pay the vet bill and did apologize. AnnaE did agree that once my dog did heal and stitches were removed that she would personally finish grooming my dog. Once I called the owner no longer seemed remorseful. She mentioned that she was afraid to groom my dog again because he was a puppy and they move alot. She also mentioned the co-owner Mike , who is her brother he also felt afraid for the same reason. The owner decided that she no longer wanted to do business with us because she could not afford to pay a vet bill if this happened again which was totally different from what I was told 2 weeks ago when this happened. Mike ended up calling me back and he was very argumentative. Mike said I should understand this is not a human it's a puppy and they move alot. So the bottom is they do not want to take the risk. Mike said they could not afford to pay another $800 bill. If so they would have to close their business. Mike mentioned that because they're a small business he had to go and get a full time job. The guy that cut my dog is the first person they were able to hire financially and Mike said he has not been there because he can't afford to pay himself. I ended the call when Mike threatened to get an attorney and sue me to get the money back they paid for cutting my dog. Very unprofessional. Be careful Mike did say "puppies are not human and it's not like you can make them be still". I took Boi who is 7 months old to my original groomer "OHANA Pet Grooming" formerly Holiday Pet Grooming in Rialto Ca . Natalie who is very skilled with puppy and dog grooming and Boi was taken care of!! I dont recommend Shinny Paws &Claws. Mike was rude and he was not present when my dogs neck was slit but took his sisters side. He never apologized either. read more

This is the perfect place I've been wanting to find. I was able to groom my own dog and saved a ton of money. Bears a King German shepherd with a left leg disability. He climbed into the tub with no problems. Anna was more than awesome in instructing and supplying me with the wash, desheder and blow drying. They also have full service where they do it but being able to do it yourself with all the tools needed right there made it pretty therapeutic. Kinda like when you was your own car. You nit pic. If I could give "no stars" I would have. I brought my miniature schnauzer and our morkie in because our regular groomer didn't have availability for 4 weeks. So I decided against my beliefs to try a new groomer. Needless to say, when we arrived the dogs didn't even want to walk in. I had to carry them in. I showed pictures to the groomer on how I wanted their haircuts. She called me and asked if I wanted them to leave my schnauzer's beard long and I said, "No, trim it." Then she told me my morkie was biting her. Out of my 15 years of taking my morkie to the groomer, not once has anyone told me that he had bitten them. I couldn't believe it. She told me she was near done with the morkie and that she would finish cutting him, then she would work on my schnauzer. They called to let me know that they were done. I walked in the door and when they brought my dogs out, I was in disbelief of how awful, I MEAN AWFUL they looked! I told the lady, what happened to my dogs? Why do they look like this. She continued to say that I was the one who told them to shave my schnauzer's beard. Who shaves a schnauzer's beard off? I just asked to trim it. BEWARE! Do not bring your dog here to get groomed. They butcher them. The owner offered to give me back my money so that I wouldn't leave a bad review but I don't care, I don't need my money back. I would rather help someone else so that they will not take the dog here to get groomed! BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! ** As the picture shows, my miniature schnauzer did NOT get a breed cut. I have brought 2 of my pugs here and I have been very happy with the services this location has provided. Oogie, who I have attached on this review, is usually an outside boy and his groom was excellent. The price for a regular groom is 40$ and I believe it's very affordable. Deshedding is only 10$ more. When I returned to pick up my dog, I noticed there was something wrong with my dog's eye while I was in the car. They tried to blind my dog. I asked them what happened, but they denied. Went into Shiny Paws & Claws this Saturday for an Express wash for my 35lb Siberian Husky, as well as a self wash for an even bigger 65lb husky. I used the website to arrange the appointment, which was easy and surprisingly affordable. I received a confirmation call the next day for the appointment. Anahi met me outside; she was very helpful and friendly. She handled Valor(my dog) with great care. He's a bit of a baby when it comes to bathing, but she took care of him very well. All in all, it took around 45 min to get in and out. Most of that time was actually spent drying the larger dog I was cleaning myself. When I left I was very satisfied, for a couple reasons. The dogs were serviced as advertised, treated with love and even given a nice little scarf on the way out the door! I couldn't be happier. I will definitely be returning to have Valor pampered in the future. Super grateful this place just opened. Side Note: the self wash was also very efficient. I would have had both dogs trimmed but huskys shed naturally. Long story short it was 10x easier cleaning a 65lb dog then it has EVER been in my backyard/bathroom. Just having the soaps, scrubbers, warm water, etc available would have been enough, but the little station that keeps the dog stationary was clutch. DEFINITELY GOING BACK! I have tried many groomers after my furr baby was mistreated by another groomer and mobile groomers using my water and still charging $100 plus. I somehow came across this place that's about 3 mins away from home and have taken my furr baby here twice and will continue. Anna is so kind to the animals and she will accommodate your dog and does not charge extra to pick her up a little later. She allows me to drop off my furr baby at 7 am before hrs. I then pick her up around 11 am during my break as I work from home. I love the care and attention they give the animals. Not to mention the treat bag and bandana or bow they get every time and love their loyalty card, I believe at the tenth stamp you get the grooming service for free.
