Good customer service, and the musubi was tasty! I will probably come back for food at Shootz and beer from Brew Haven.

Didn't get to order , but the service was terrible . Whoever was at the register between 4:40pm to 4:50pm ish on 07/24/2024 was terrible at listening, and kept walking away as I was ordering. I had tried to use a 10 dollar birthday reward for my order , they kept telling me I was only able to use 49 cents unbelievable. I had shown them the Shootz app to show the reward was still there and unused. The latter still tried to dismiss me about it and walked away assuming I was gonna to pay the order in full. I ended up canceling the order ...what a disappointing exchange. read more

My favorite chicken katsu and the closest place to get a good Loco Moco. Thier in house drinks are really good just too sweet for me so I dilute with water. Price and portion could be better. I have been so excited to try this place but was sadly disappointed. Ordered the short rib plate which comes with rice and mac salad. I upgraded to a combo which came with choice of misubi and drink. The specialty drinks are also $2.50 extra on top of the $5 to make it a combo. My friend ordered the garlic shrimp plate and also upgraded to a combo. We tried both misubi's they had to offer which were the brûlée spam and coconut shrimp. Definitely do not get the coconut shrimp...this was just a piece of fried shrimp in between rice. Flavorless, cold, and a waste. The brûlée spam was honestly delicious, a bit too much rice to spam ratio though. The Mac salad that comes with the entrees is flavorless. The short ribs were okay a little tough. The shrimp had a strong garlic flavor which was good. The only thing I really enjoyed was the speciality drinks specifically the cucumber melon. The passion fruit one wasn't that good. Two entrees upgrade to a combo came out to $52. This place not only was pricey but wasn't even worth the money or time you have to wait! The concept of their sando is really good (chicken katsu patty and mac salad) but the sandwich was way too small and not spicy in any way, shape or form. This was my 1st time eating here w/ my cousin who has ordered something once before so I was nervous to see if it would please my taste buds and it did just that! Zero common courtesy. I usually order food here for lunch. Good spot close to my house but the last few times I've gone to pick up my food I go up to the counter say Hi and only get a cold stare back . I then have to proceed to let them know I'm picking up an order because they don't greet me at all. One guy will look directly at me with a blank stare and walk away. Unfortunately today is my last day having shootz for lunch. A quick hi, welcome won't hurt them but clearly is not part of their customer service. read more

Such a good place love the macaroni salad, is the best and the people are really friendly

I can't even explain how good this is, especially the breading used in both the shrimp and chicken. It's so good I've thought about eating the whole tail of the shrimp so I can have that extra breading nibble. You could fry a sock in that breading and I'd eat it. Mac salad and rice were hella good too. PLUS THE MUSUBIS ARE SO GOOD. read more

Food was good very good. But here's where the problem comes in. We found a hair in our food and notify them right away. We were not looking for a free meal or anything just wanted to let them know we found hair. Apparently the manager happened to over hear the situation and asked for the ticket number so he can give us a full refund. Lol well no that never happened and I felt like he just wanted to sweep it under the carpet and get us away from the register. So we left and a week later. I checked my bank statement. And nothing not one sent was taken out from our check. Like I said in the beginning not looking for any free meal. But don't lie to us and say your gonna do something and not do it just to get rid of us. I think he was afraid that other customers were gonna hear our complaint. This place is off the beaten path but I decided to go after receiving ads from Facebook. Overall, the food was really good. The gravy for the loco Moco was delicious but the patty was average. The rice was flavorful as well with a pleasant texture. My girlfriend enjoyed the butter katsu which is what they are known for. We received the shrimp plate for free with a promo which was 16$ for free which I can't complain. In my honest opinion that was the weakest part of our meal. Not much jalapeno going on for me and the sauce itself didn't have much flavor. However, the Mac salad was also delicious and it comes with every plate. The spam musubi was amazing I will say. I've had it at a few spots and this one is definitely up there. The cashier we had was very friendly and helpful. The specialty drinks they had were refreshing and tasty as well. It was a bit of a drive but I'm glad we decided to go. It did not disappoint. read more
