    Blueberry Sour + Paloma

Perfect spot for happy hour and located in Seaport Village! You'll get a clear view of the ocean, while enjoying your drinks + food. Each day, there's a happy hour cocktail special. I got the Paloma cocktail (Monday) and it's very reasonable for the price ($10, regularly $18). Also, 50% off sushi rolls! I got the Catalina Roll (yellowtail, crab mix, pickled resno chili..) -so good. Service is friendly and quick. Really can't complain about anything here. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

On our visit to San Diego we had a delightful dinner at Shorebird in Seaport Village. Service and food were top notch. We sat at a window table and had great views. The skirt steak tacos were absolutely delicious, well seasoned with a nice char. My husband loved his Chilean Sea Bass as well. We would highly recommend Shorebird.

Such a cool spot to have lunch. This was my first time but it won't be my last. The upstairs dining is awesome and gives you a great view of ocean. Absolutely beautiful. Lets get into it. Food: We had a few options like always. I mean why not right! We started with * Tempura Rock Shrimp - this was crazy good. I did not expect the flavors to punch me in the mouth like it did. Crispy, light batter, the glaze and toppings really made it a phenomenal appetizer. I would highly recommend this dish. It is small in quantity but if feeds 2 people easily. * Crab Cakes - the crab cakes are good they do have a nice crispy texture on the outside but the inside is tender and packed with your normal Crab Cakes flavors. Not a bad choice. It was fresh and the portions are above average. * Balboa Rolll - somehow this roll with so many different flavors and textures went so well together. Cuddos to the chef for this one. The scallions on top changed the entire roll. I really loved this one. Would definitely order it again. Portion size was larger than the average roll. * Overstuffed Bacon & Eggs - this one was crazy!! It's literally a tower of deviled egg yoke with bacon, bits of celery and paprika on top. This was my least favorite only because the amount of yoke compared to the actual egg you get didn't add up. Once the egg is gone you're left with a mountain of egg yoke. It's way to much for my taste. The yoke also seemed a little dry and pasty. For deviled egg lovers this is a dream come true. * Skirt Steak & Eggs - wife said it was really good and the red chimichiri complimented the steak just right. The portions were large, the steak was juicy and cooked perfecrly to her request. With skillet fried smahed potatoes and toasted buttered bread. Very good option for steak lovers. Service: The staff was great from the check-in booth to the waiter everyone did such a great job and was so polite. I couldn't help notice that everyone was smiling and super helpful. This is a great team working at that restaurant. Bar tenders were on top of drinks which was nice to get your drink shortly after ordering. Atmosphere: It's an ocean side restaurant or should I say on the ocean restaurant with wall to wall windows showing the ocean and the beautiful San Diego landscape. Really enjoyed the area and activities. Price: The appitizers were above average prices but hey!! Totally worth it. It ranged from $16-$30 per dish, its really not too bad for the quality of food and service. Location: It's located in Seaport Village which has so many different places to try and plenty of businesses to walk and find some really cool things. Parking: It's a pay to park lot but we found parking fairly easy but it is pricey to park there. I think we paid $24 for a couple of hours.

Beautiful setting for a beautiful view. We went for Happy Hour based on times posted online, but the bartender stated it was over, definitely recommend checking on official status. I hope the business updates online info, and considers extending the hours, we were there before 6PM. We ordered a couple drinks as we were trying out different spots. I still got the Passion Fruit Martini and it was good, my friend ordered the Scratch Margarita and was not impressed. I took a sip and agreed, it was not something I would order, and for the price, it fell short of taste and hype from the description.

Second time coming in. Great view definitely a place you bring ppl visiting from out of town. Love the new renovation. Both times I've come the service was ok. You kinda have to wave them down when you need something. my husband ordered a second beer they brought the bottle over and didn't open it so he had to wave someone down. For the price you're paying for the food the service should be up there as well. Food is ok nothing really stands out. Couple items on the menu were out! On the march madness weekend!?!? which I thought they would over prepare for. I ended up getting the balboa roll, my husband got the fish and chips. I was super bummed the seabass was out. I ordered a mocktail the server mentioned would be sweet but it was more on the tart side. Overall cute place, but we live somewhere with better options.

Beautiful Bay views! On top of the water! Ask for a seat on the South side next to glass. Far corner table is the best! Unobstructed views! Perfect Sunset dinner. 5 stars! Tip: ask for salt and pepper. Food was really good. I had the toasted chicken and risotto. Moist and creamy! Avocado fries were fresh and lightly fried. Needed a bit of salt Garlic Nigir was fresh and phenomenal I will literally go back for more. It was perfectly made. Fish and chips were really good. Fish was tender. I would eat it again. The coffee was amazing! They serve real coffee not some pot just sitting my Mom and I loved it and if you love carrot cake it was soooo good! Large enough piece to share. The picture does not do it justice! Large drink menu with wines. Check out my videos! Great place to take guests! Get a reservation online. It is a smaller spot. We had great service.

Perfect dinner spot for sunset on the water! We split the 2 crab cakes between 2 people which was the perfect size. The seafood was amazingly fresh. Both the sushi rolls and the nigiri were delicious. The lemon asparagus risotto and wedge salad were the perfect fresh addition to our meal. I love that they had tacos, burgers and chicken sandwiches-- truly something for everyone. Great espresso martinis!

Mother daughter day means we need lunch on the water and I had been wanting to check out this spot since it opened and it did not disappoint. It was a Sunday and then I remembered it is graduation season so it was busy and for it looking like a large space on the outside I would say it is not huge on the inside and there were less tables that I would be thought but there is a small upstairs area that had bar seating and we were able to snag a seat up there. It is a small bar only about 6 seats or so but I liked that it wasn't super packed upstairs. I saw they had a small sushi menu and that they had salmon belly so I had to get it because it is my favorite and it was soo good I honestly could have ordered multiple plates of that as my meal. We also got the avocado fries which the sauce that came with I really enjoyed and it is definitely a sharing item we took half of it home. For our meal I ended up getting the fish and chips it just sounded good and I did bbq seasoning on the fries. Everything was really food and they also have a great wine selection which is a plus. I need to go back soon it was a great experience.

This nice little restaurant on the water was amazing. We made reservations but there weren't too many people on a Friday afternoon. Service was fast and prompt. We ordered the crab cakes Benedict and chicken sandwich. I think the only thing holding this place back is the price as it averages 30 per person.

Always wanted to try this place for brunch. It's good not great, but you will have one of the best view of the harbor. Recommend making reservations, Food order: Tempura Shrimp And Snake river farm hamburger with onions rings, they forgot the bacon on our burger. A little under seasoned on the patty Service was slow for being one of the first table there in the morning

We were genuinely excited to hear that Shorebird was coming to San Diego since we've always loved their Newport location but this experience was a huge letdown. The food was honestly disappointing. The roll had no taste that we left more than half, and the oysters were shockingly small, about the size of a nail bed. It just didn't live up to the quality I was expecting at all. Service didn't help either. Our servers had little to no knowledge of the menu, which made the experience even more frustrating. We eventually moved to the bar hoping things would improve, and while the service was slightly better there (thanks to who I believe was the bar manager), it still didn't make up for everything else. Overall, really disappointed. Definitely not the experience I was hoping for.

Ambiance..cute place with amazing view. Love the decor Service..was fine..not reay excited to be there and kind of walked away before we could ask something Foos..got lemon ricotta blueberry hot cakes..they were more like pancakes more sweet and not much h lemon flavor but still good.

Came here for brunch to celebrate my friends birthday. This place was literally over the water on a pier at seaport village area and had really good photo ops nice views of the Coronado bridge. The food was really good everything we ordered was made fresh and very tasty! Our server was prompt and friendly and would check on us often.

Enter Blue Water - the reviews and pics looks great, and the weather called for seafood, so I decided to head here and check it out. This Blue Water is located on India St in Mission Hills, though they have another location in Ocean Beach. Parking can be a little tricky, as there is no parking lot they are on a main road close to a split in a residential area. The interior is pretty spacious - the fish market is towards the front, and the ordering counter is in the back. Seating is spread out between the main area where the market is, a side room, and outdoors in the front. Decor and aesthetics are casual - very seafood restaurant-esque with straightforward design. The foot traffic set up so you order first and then find a table before they serve your meal to you. The menu is extensive - they have a large selection of fish that can be prepared several ways. It's a little overwhelming to take in, but there was no pressure for us to order; if there's a line all the more time to explore. I ultimately decided to get their mini shrimp tacos - these were served on a corn tortilla and topped with cabbage, tomatoes, onions, white sauce, and cheddar cheese with a side of tomatillo sauce. The tacos were great - super fresh, they didn't skimp on the shrimp, and all the flavors and textures worked really well together. I also ordered a cup of NE clam chowder which was good - not the best one I've had but for being in Southern California it held its own. Service was good - I'm seeing reviews of long lines but I think I came at the right time; there are barely a line to order and my meal was served shortly after that. Overall, Blue Water is a yes - I had a great experience here and wouldn't hesitate to return next time I'm in SD.

But every once in a while, hubby has a special request & we make it happen. His San Diego wish? Thursday night all-you-can-eat lobster dinner at 100s Seafood Grill Buffet. And when I say seafood extravaganza, I mean it. Beyond the lobster, there were crab legs, oysters, sushi galore (maki, nigiri & sashimi), lots of Asian specialties plus plenty of American comfort-food favorites to satisfy just about everyone. Now, full disclosure: my feelings were a little mixed, but hubby? He was living his absolute best life. The lobster is served cut in half & broiled, which unfortunately made the meat sort of melt into the shell. Each half ended up being only a couple bites & you did have to wait in line to grab one when fresh trays came out (one half per person at a time). That said, credit where it is due: the kitchen brought out lobster trays pretty regularly, so the wait never felt unreasonable. Meanwhile, hubby proceeded to eat what I can only describe as his body weight in crab legs. His only critique was that he prefers them served hot rather than cold, although the hot butter on draft definitely helped make up for that. I also appreciated how many unique dishes were available beyond seafood, making the buffet feel more interesting than your standard steam-table experience. And for me, the dessert section was a standout, especially the gelato station, which I may or may not have visited more than once. At $56.99, my personal preference would probably be to spend that money at a really good sushi restaurant. But if your dream scenario involves unlimited lobster, crab legs, oysters & a seafood feast where you can try a little bit of everything, this place absolutely delivers. Final verdict? Maybe not my personal seafood fantasy but hubby was THRILLED & sometimes that's the most important review of all. NOM NOM NOM #YUM

That's a disgusting amount of money to pay for diarrhea inducing food!!! Yuck 1 out of 5 stars because YELP won't allow me to score this place any lower. Best part of my meal was the Diet Pepsi and coconut gelato.

Linguine and Clams - fresh clams with delicious sauce but I wish it could have been thicker and linguine is more al dente. Had to request for extra parmesan cheese. Paella - perfectly cooked saffron rice, fresh seafoods and generous chicken and chorizo. Calamari with honey chili lime sauce - crispy outside and soft calamari with delicious sauce. Soup of the Day/ Lobster bisque - smooth, creamy, and well seasoned soup. Glad there's not too much wine added. Some restaurants, wine overpowers the soup. Outstanding customer service from front desk to our servers. We were given a great table overlooking San Diego Bay. Thanks for the free brownies with ice cream. Highly recommended!
