Found this lunch spot by total accident today. When I walked in the gas station to pay for my gas I noticed a strong, delicious smell of food cooking on a grill. I followed the smell and found two women flipping burgers and taking a few orders. The customers, who ended up being two fellow Kaiser employees (as is every other customer I'm sure) could see I was new and started raving about the food. One of them said it was the "number one lunch spot in Roseville" and "the best burger in the world". I kept quietly saying, "In a gas station?". They nodded their heads. I could tell this was heavy food but, when in Rome. I ordered the mesquite chicken sandwich on sliced wheat. I will say, on first bite I immediately could taste why those folks loved it so much. The chicken is a HUGE breast and incredibly juicy. With that that, if you love grease, you'll love it here. Personally, I have a hard time finishing a meal I know is full of fat, especially considering I have a desk job. I wiped off some of the mayo and what appeared to be a chipotle aioli (it may have just been the cheese blending with the mayo). The lettuce and tomatoe were fresh and made the sandwich even better. I was in line to place an order and the lady was helping the person ahead of me, she was finishing a burrito for him and she asked him "do you want cheese?" and he said yes, she proceeded grab the cheese bare handed with long manicured nails and finished making the burrito, next she turned her back to the line and wiped her nose with the palm of her hand. Inside a Chevron station? You've got to be kidding me! It seems that this place is not a secret anymore. Their burritos are big and delicious and probably not so good for you, but what the heck. The Firestarter and Philly are really good and the prices are cheap. After more thought, I guess this makes sense and is a great bargain, considering a gallon of gas and the price of one burrito are about the same, but a gallon of gas gets you about 20-minutes driving time. The burrito, though, will allow you to go home, and produce much more than a gallon of gas for at least 6 to 8 hours. YUM! read more

These aren't some kind of pre-packaged, frozen breakfast hot pockets, but grilled meats, eggs, cheeses, potatoes, etc, right in front of you as you wait. I highly recommend the Dan burrito, however unless you're built like a truck or training for a body-building competition, you may want to order the half-Dan (GIANT vs. normal size).
