Freddy's $11.99 they grill the flour tortilla

Short Stuff Cafe is delicious and convenient, especially when you need to get Chevron gas at the same time. Lots of variety with a meat heavy menu for protein lovers. Made to order are grilled breakfast burritos, sandwiches, burgers, and wraps. They have a few grab & go selections on their counter display. I got myself a Freddy's breakfast burrito ($12) containing eggs, mushrooms, sausage, bacon, green onions and pepper jack cheese. It was hearty and filling. Short Stuff has their own counter but you pay the gas station attendant. If the POS system is down and you don't have cash, they have one of those private ATMs for a fee. Probably better to just bring cash. Closed Monday, they have limited opening hours depending on the day, so make sure to double check before heading out. You can call ahead to pre-order too.

Fill up your tank and your tummy... one stop shop This counter-service cafe is located inside the Chevron gas station convenience store on Eureka Rd in Roseville. It is located across the street from Fat's Asia Bistro. On one section inside the store is a kitchen and they make some of the best sandwiches my palette has ever tasted, nothing fancy, just good 'ole taste-of-home kind of sammies. My cheeseburger didn't have the prettiest presentation but the thick, juicy burger was delightfully satisfying. Twice I've ordered the BLT on sourdough toast. They put lots of bacon on the sandwich. It's so good. I have yet to try their breakfast items. I've had this place bookmarked for the longest time. Business hours are limited (see photo) which makes it difficult for me to make it here and sometimes I just miss the window on when they're open. Also, it's better to call in your order so you're not waiting. Just pick up and pay at the register (not at the kitchen). Tips are appreciated. If you're a baller on a budget you would enjoy the affordable prices on their food items, very reasonable... in fact, dirt cheap! Review #2770

So confused when I pulled up because there was only a Chevron gas station. As I went inside I didn't see any signage that the worker in the cove was Short Stuff Cafe. I grabbed a paper menu and sure enough, I had found it! The menu had many more items than expected given there weren't any chairs or tables for guests. I ordered a breakfast croissant and my son ordered a Meat Lover's Breakfast Burrito. They had a ridiculous amount of salsas to choose from, enjoy playing with them! Breakfast Croissant w/ sausage and cheddar cheese: 8 - Sausage was decently flavored but the croissant was very good. I got lots of cheese and egg but this really needed mustard and Mayo or some other condiment. It wasn't greasy which is a death low to a sausage croissant...decent option I'd say. Meat Lover's Breakfast Burrito: 6 - Breakfast burrito was on the greasy side but had lots of ingredients. Bacon was great, lots of eggs and cheese...probably too much...needs potatoes and more meat to be a better option.

Great breakfast burritos but when looking on here, keep in mind they are closed on Mondays, even though it says they are opened on here.

Good spot for a breakfast burrito. I had Dave's Wrap with green chiles and it was BOMB, albeit a bit on the dry side.

A classic breakfast sounded good at the time... From the breakfast menu I chose the Juke Box Special but the friendly server suggested the Soldier Boy instead which was basically the same thing except this included grilled potatoes and only one pancake. The server urged me to try the potatoes... omgosh! it was so good, they were grilled and I love the crunchiness. Nothing fancy on the menu just good, ole' classic home cookin' and diner "comfort food." Breakfast is served all day. Chubby's Diner is a small, friendly, neighborhood diner that is as retro as it gets down from the decor and food. Friendly customer service! Review #3982

During that time, they served me a glass of water and I quickly ordered the BBQ Chicken sandwich - I had looked at the menu earlier - with a side of fruit. The sandwich was really great! They served the sandwich with the grilled, chicken breast, bacon, and BBQ sauce with the lettuce, tomatoes, and onions on the side. I'm not a fan of onions, so I did not have those, but it was nice to have the lettuce and the tomatoes have that nice taste when it hasn't been smothered in BBQ sauce or others as it's being cooked by the chicken like other places prepare them. I honestly left satisfied. This place really did live up to the recommendations and reputation it has. Our gym, Positive Impact Fitness always talks about this place and it was really worth it. I shall return in due time.

They only have 1 size so you don't have much options to choose from. After trying it, I felt like I was just drinking a whole cup of milk, it didn't have ANY espresso/coffee taste in it at all. Note they only have 1 size so its like a large size coffee cup. I brought the coffee back and had asked them to remake it and the barista informed me that it only comes with 1 shot of espresso per drink thus thats why it taste so milky. 1 shot? What? I was so shocked, in such a big cup I would expect at least two shots since the total of it was over $7. Anyways I asked them to remake it with less milk and 5-6 minutes later, it honestly ended up just being worse than earlier... Now it just taste very watery, like a diluted espresso and I can't even drink it. She was nice and helpful but I was disappointed I couldn't enjoy the coffee like I wanted to. So I just tossed the whole cup away, what a waste.
