I watched this awful looking dive bar transition from an eye sore in the neighborhood, to thriving bar, restaurant and small local band venue over the past 20 years. John & his wife have succeeded in turning the local eye sore into a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating serving up some amazing food. Their burgers are out of this world! The chicken wings can hold their own over many of the people that claim to fame their own. The gyro's and other Greek dishes give a real taste of the other side of the world! I'm not a drinker, but they do have a full bar both inside and outside. They offer catering and delivery for your events! The outside venue has local bands play on certain nights and has a covered, heated patio with a cast-iron stove/fireplace. The place is always clean and the service is beyond reproach! The variety of whiskeys is unparallel to any other bar we've been in Cleveland! If you're visiting from out of town and you want a quick bite to eat that satisfies the palette, make sure you stop in and say hello! A perfect meeting place before or during a Guardians, Browns or Cavs game!

As a sour dill pickle lover, I really loved the cucumber-flavor pickles. They are great for the burger -- adds even more flavor without overwhelming like some pickles can. The pickles taste how I imagine they would when only half through pickling process -- a combo of discernible cucumber with a mild dill flavor. Very nice. I was disappointed with the octopus. It was delicious and uber tender, but only one small tentacle -- not enough to share with anyone. My husband and I can share a meatball at most places but this tentacle was too small. The gnocchi that accompanied it could be a dish all its own. The gnocchi with the potato alone would make a great app. or entree. We were really impressed with the food and are looking forward to round 2.

The setup has a wow factor as you enter the basement level of the building through a tunnel covered in plants and leading straight to your first photo opp! The circle with pink bench is a cute preview of what's inside. Once you check in with the hostess, enter through a door and welcome to the social club. Beautiful decor that mixes a level of sophistication with a little drama as you see the bright lights. Plenty of seating and even a private room that can be rented out. The drinks are phenomenal and the staff is friendly! The menu offers a mix of unique cocktails (and can be made as mocktail a too) and small bites. Upon recommendation, I tried the F.W. Marg drink. So good! The most unique aspect is the watermelon ice cube. As it melts the drink flavor changes. Creative & fun way to enjoy a cocktail. They open at 5pm, which would be a great spot for chill happy hour. Later in the evening, you'll experience more of a lounge/club vibe. Great edition to downtown CLE!

I'm so happy we did because Stella made sure we had a stellar time (she put the Stella in Stellar? Sorry, nerd status) and the food provided was super fresh and the staff was so attentive. We had a pretty large group all come in at once and they got us through quickly with our first round of drinks! The ambiance is intimate enough where you can step aside to a table for a nice convo or large enough to create a dancing space where we you're at... which was exactly what some of us did because the music was just too tempting. From a more organized event to a late night par-tay mentality, the subtle and eclectic vibes of Lost put you in the right head space. Highly recommend!

We started with "snackeries" (adorable baby daiquiris) that set the tone perfectly: fun, clever, and delicious. Each dish that followed was layered with flavor, texture, and thoughtfulness -- the kind of food that makes you slow down and appreciate every bite. Not a single plate disappointed, which is rare even at the best restaurants. This isn't just "good vegan food." It's simply excellent food that happens to be vegan. The atmosphere is moody and intimate in the best way -- dim lighting, stylish interiors, and a hum that makes you feel like you've stumbled onto one of the city's best-kept secrets. The staff only add to that energy, striking the perfect balance between professional and genuinely friendly. And let's not forget one of the most underrated perks: free street parking right outside, which in any city is practically gold. We didn't have a reservation and lucked into seats at the bar (my preferred choice anyway). From that vantage point, we got to watch the bartenders work their magic, and it only enhanced the experience. Their cocktails aren't just drinks -- they're little works of art, and each one felt just as thoughtfully crafted as the food. This is one of those rare places I almost don't want to review because I selfishly want to keep it a secret. It's unique, unforgettable, and already has me planning a return trip to Cleveland just to sit at that bar again. Do yourself a favor: don't miss this gem.

We haven't seen these friends in a bit so we were kinda eating and lounging and talking. We ordered the original corn beef to split the regular size and we got the homade potato and cole slaw. Our guests got the corn beef as well and potato pancakes as their side. One liked the potato pancakes and one did not. They are mash potato consistency not shredded. I tasted they were ok to me. The potato salad and cole slaw were both good. Better choice. The corn beef actually looked smaller than usual. It was good but I thought it had been larger in the past. Maybe not anymore. Service was good. Food came out on time. This is a good place to go. Prices are a bit high but it's a deli. You can do what we did and split the sandwich. It enough food. Bar is nice. The patio is nice too. It's a good space and they even have a party room if you want to rent it out. Slymans is an institution. We will be back at some point again.
