My rep did an amazing job getting me in at 7am and out at 8:15am for a simple oil service. At $59.95 + tax they filled my Honda CRV up with synthetic oil, lubed her up, did basic checkups and eval'd her needs....plus I got a car-wash and it looks like they vacuumed and wiped up the front dash (random value assessment of $10). In the wait room are yummy fresh donuts, fruit, and a coffee machine that (get this) ACTUALLY WORKS. So far I have to say my time spent in Honda dealers in general is much more pleasant in consideration of other dealers I have dealt with. Courtesy Chevrolet would take nearly 2 hours to do the exact same job, and they of course were infamous in my eyes for not reporting my Aveo's faulty AC unit, which led for me to be AC-less for 3 years. I could not find any downside at all. They granted my appointment time, and got me out quickly. They did not oversell me, and were courteous with my needs. Avoid buying a car here . The salesmen will say anything to you to get you to sign the contract & once you do , you eventually find out that most of what was said were lies. The cars are junk and the service is poor. . I'm onto my 5th car (always buying one year old with less than 15k miles) & I've had to take this latest car that I purchased here at Showcase into the shop 4 times now within the past year. . I have bought 5 Honda's from showcase over the last 16 years. Although they are typically great cars, the dealers leave much to be desired. Sadly our last Civic was stolen. My girlfriend purchased the car from Showcase and was assured it had a fancy anti theft device on it made by rock ledge security. We paid extra for it and was assured it was superior even to LoJack. When we called the company to report the car stolen they assured us that they would pay the difference for an upgraded car that we would get to replace the Civic. Of course none of this is true. The paperwork for the security system, in the fine print, states that if a "family member or anyone in possession of the keys takes the car", the upgraded guarantee in the replacement car is void. Because it was the purse that was stolen we were out of luck. The worst part is that Showcase was unable and unwilling to help. Never returned phone calls, never an explanation why they ripped us off with a system that doesn't work and certainly I will never return here. 5 cars I have bought from here and not even a sorry we sold you a crap product that we won't stand behind. In summation, rock ledge security doesn't actually find stolen cars. They simply collect your money and pass you on to their legal department. You know, as used car dealers go this was a pretty good experience. I have been around the car business for a long time so I consider myself pretty prepared to walk in to a dealer and either get damn close to what I want or to bail. Found an 06 X3 that I was really interested in so I called ahead and got a referral to a non sleaze salesman that I could talk to. Went it, drove the car, told him where they needed to be and that if they could do it I would buy it. If not- no big deal. Long story short, they got me where I needed to be, I was actually pretty surprised- I had researched my trade value and the value of the X3 and they gave me more than I expected for my trade and I got the X3 for less than private party retail. My salesman was great (Steve Marion). Of course, when you get the big guys involved to really narrow down the deal, they can be a bit insulting to your intelligence, but like I said- It all comes down to knowing what you want and being fully prepared to walk if you don't get it. Finally had to file a complaint with the FCC against them. Despite repeated polite pleas to stop calling me, even reiterating that we have moved to a new state, I got ANOTHER phone call last night at 8:40...and that was the straw that broke the camel's back. See, it's not good enough to buy a car from them. After a year, they'll be calling you to see if you want to trade up to "this year's model" with the Honda Loyalty Program. Unbelievably, I fell for this...once. It's a complete ripoff, don't do it. Also, that MPP program they offer? Yeah, another waste of money. I took my Honda to a dealership in our new state. Great buying experience. Started on internet and got very aggressive pricing right off the top from internet sales manager, Ollie. Another dealer had exact same car, could not get them to come close to matching it even with their "we won't be undersold" and "best deal in town guarantee." Went to Showcase and Ollie got us going with with Adan who was great. They never tried to shift deals and respected out decision to not want to answer monthly payments when we were getting a quote for trade in. We finalized the deal when Roscoe approved final increase on trade in which was on high end of KBB value, specially taking tax savings into account. They are set up like a traditional dealership but if you are informed, let them know you are and you should be happy with the experience whether you buy or don't. read more

I only had a little over 4 months left on my current car when the transmission took a poop, I was planning to get another car after I paid my Nissan off......let's just say that this was not in the cards right now. I couldn't believe how hassle-free and easy the the team at Showcase Honda (ScH) made car buying. I found a used 2013 Toyota Rav4 online though my bank and within minutes a Rep from ScH called me and began coordinating the pick up. The process was all done on line and via phone, and when it came time to test drive the car, the brought it to me. when I drove it, it was so clean and well kept it truly felt like a new car. When it came time to close on the car there was no up-sale, or BS add'ons you find at other dealers simply tax, tags and title, and it came out to over $1,000 less than I had calculated!!! These guys wrote the book on slimy car sales tactics. I went to look at a Civic today, expecting it to be miserable, but Showcase really went above and beyond my wildest dreams. First they started negotiations over 5,000$ dollars above their own published sales price, and then got mad at me when I mentioned their ad. Then my sales guy disappeared for 30 minutes, only to send back the sales manager with an offer higher than the one I just refused, who rushed away as soon as I tried to open my mouth. Sales guy returned with Sad Panda routine as I tried to leave. Then they had the gaul to call and ask how my experience was, and if there was anything they could do. I told them I want to pay the published price, and I've never heard back. The worst possible experience. Steer clear. Honda should be ashamed. read more

Update!!!! I had an appointment to take my van in on Wednesday, October 10th to have another key made and programed and also Greg promised to have the floor mats for me that we not put in the vehicle. Greg called me Tuesday morning and told me his key man was out of town and wouldn't be in until next Wednesday. I spoke with my mechanic about this and he thought it was strange that they only had one person to do the keys. But I told Greg I would be there at 9:30am and did he get the mats for my vehicle. He told me he was working on it. I called Greg this morning as I realized I had another appointment at 10:30am on the 17th of October and would have to leave the dealership by 10:00am. I asked him how long it would take and he said could take up to an hour. I told him I would arrange for a sitter to get my son off to school and I would be there by 9:00am. He agreed on the time. I again asked him about the mats and I still get an answer that he's working on it. I don't know why it should be so difficult to find the mats for this vehicle until they gave them away. When it comes to a giant dealership like this you're either going to hate it, or love it. There's no medium. I would personally not hesitate to recommend SH because my experience was pleasant. They took care of me, and they put me on a car... and ultimately that's the point. This place showcases not only Hondas, but Dodge's, Mini Coopers and a bunch more. I had tried a small dealership before and that did not go so as well. that's for sure :/ But in the end, it all worked out. Manny was patient, even when I wasn't. Michael and everyone in management that worked on my deal were respectful, and I felt always working on my best interest. I have to come back for a minor fix, but I know this won't be a problem. The Good: The car I purchased has been a high quality vehicle which I have no significant complaints about. The price I negotiated was fair. The Bad: Getting numerous phone calls during the car shopping process trying to close the deal. The sales calls were intrusive and dangerously close to pushy. After buying the car the customer service has hovered around 'acceptable', at times dipping below that. The Ugly: Every few months since purchasing my car I'd receive a call from a random salesman desperate to make a sale and curious if I'd like to come back and trade in my car for a newer car. The car I bought several months ago. After the last contact I may have made it clear they should stop calling me, but only time will tell. Overall: Unless business practices have changed, be prepared to be pestered after your visit. My suggestion, don't give them your phone number. The quality of the product is high. read more

Wow. I would have never gone to Showcase Honda if I had checked Yelp first. I am also very surprised at these horror story reviews, but I trust the Yelpers. My experience was like night/day to theirs. First we slected Showcase because it's close to work, I had four cars I wanted to see and we dropped in to take them for a test drive. After meandering about the lot for a few and eyeballing the ones we wanted to see, we walked toward the entrance and the door was opened for us by our salesperson. Polite welcome, smile and a "how can I help you ladies today"? We told him what cars we wanted to test drive and he said to have a seat at his desk area while he prepared them. He brought them up front and lined them up like a real showcase. We opened the hoods, the trunks, I sat in the back, the front, and talked about features. He shared what he knew about the cars which was reinforcing what we knew about the cars and then we started our drives, one after the other. He sat in back, offered a few facts, but was mostly quiet, unless we had a questions, which he was always pretty quick on, and he was humorous. Whenever he asked those personal questions salespeople ask to strike a rapport, I gently demurred and turned them back to him. I think we know more about our salesperson than he ever learned about us. During one of our test drives we had to get gas and he came back from the gas station with waters for us. After all the test drives were over he really wanted to get working on the numbers, but we told him we weren't planning a purchase today. This part of the sales process is always my most nerve wracking, because I know they want to close a sale. We discussed what else we wanted to see in our range, but we didn't need to see anything else. We had two close contenders already, we just needed a great deal on one. So, we chose the two cars we were most interested in and did a pro and con chart at the desk to decide which one we would discuss numbers about. We selected the Honda Fit Sport over the Insight and that's when the pressure started. Normally we leave at this point, but we really did feel we'd found the right car, so I kept in mind my range from my research over what was fair pricing. His first offer to us was way too high and our first offer to him was way too low, but we had a no higher than X price in mind and whenever he was over that we said no and continued talking it out. We scratched out a deal that ended up lower than what I felt fair because the car we were considering actually had a few miles on it from a person whose financing fell through and we lowered the price to adjust for that issue. Once we had a deal we tossed in extra money down and headed over to finance. Finance is never fun, and it was getting late, but the guy who worked our paperwork promised to get us through the financing side of things in about an hour, which he did. Maybe you all will think we are suckers to buy anything that's extra in those pamphlets, but we did like some of the extended packages and we worked out the cost to where we were comfortable accepting them. At the end of the day we drove home with a car we are enjoying and with an experience which wasn't as bad as I thought it might be, and with what we considered to be a pretty sweet deal. They actually own all the shops on Camelback and will soon make construction to be the largest Honda dealership in square footage in North America. I was actually happy to go write a Yelp review about my car buying experience and was stunned with all these one stars and negative stars. Maybe they've had some sensitivity training or new management or something? Maybe it's just the sales guy I got? The best thing about this place is the product. I know that when buying a Honda, I will receive a good quality car: good on gas, trouble free and safe. showcase however is as shifty as an auto dealer gets. They pump up the prices, then knock them down to make it seem you're getting some kind of deal. In order to get me a good interest rate, they required I purchase all the extra warranties and service contracts that I didn't want. All along the way they kept begging me to give them a positive survey because if I didn't, it would cost the salesperson a part of his commission. I was told this four times at the dealer, and again in a follow up call. The cherry on top was when they asked me to come back and re sign new documents for my loan. It seems I agreed to such an inflated price, it was more than the bank was willing to finance, so they had to knock a few thousand bucks off after the fact. Again, I'd have preferred to just take the cheaper loan payment, but the only way they would do it was if I signed up for the platinum package, which netted out almost the same payment as before. I'll pay cash for used cars on craigslist before I would buy there again. I have edited this entry to say that this business has repeatedly called me to sell me another car, despite my specific request to be added to their do not call registry. This is in violation of federal law and exposes them to penalties of up to $16,000 per occurrance, and I have blocked the number from my phone. Just had the joy of getting my $68 oil change for a Honda Accord. Price is exorbitant for a simple oil change, and no car wash or any extra included. Also their is a global pandemic going on with a mandatory mask requirement by the city of Phoenix, however you would not know that by sitting in the waiting area. Out of 16 people I counted 3 were wearing masks. Management should have enforced this policy. Also during my 50min wait the parts dept staff are were heard freely throwing the F word around at high volume in front of customers and kids with no disregard. read more

This is a corporation owned dealer. Very big volume based place. We bought a new 2015 Accord today but it was a 5 hour event unfortunately. The sales rep Roger was very good. But the management is very deceptive here. They tried a bait and switch which I called out to them twice. They finally got it right reluctantly after I told them they were committing fraud by advertising a great price painted on the windshield and then tried to bump the price up $3,000. I think it's good they were forced to sell it at the marked price but they should not have tried to play games. I would not buy here again as we have a very bad taste from the experience! I have purchased two Hondas at Showcase Honda, and the most recent was a couple of years ago so I get my car serviced here, I would say the service is average. Unfortunately my last service was a complete disappointment. I was going in for an oil change and they gave me a whole list of other things my car "needed". I refused the other services, except the oil change and transmission fluid, and I asked my "advisor" to email me the diagnosis report, which he said he did and when I asked him what email he sent it to he didn't even have an email address. Therefore, I provided him with an email address. After speaking with my dad and taking my car to another auto service shop, it turns out I only needed an oil change. I am not sure what triggers a person to sell things that are not necessary but I will definitely not bring my car back and will not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Buyer beware! Multiple members of Sales & Finance teams at Showcase, lied straight to my face. I brought approved financing with me to this dealer from MY BANK. I reiterated multiple times that MY BANK was the financing party, already approved on this deal and that I was not interested in any financing they had on offer. Multiple times, I was reassured by multiple people that MY BANK was the loan holder and that I would be hearing from them shortly. I then received a call from another bank, indicating that they held my loan. Showcase Honda lied over and over, and still ran my credit with opposing banks when I already had financing available. This organization has not given me any indication that there is an honest person in their ranks... They could maybe find one in new mexico though. If so why wouldn't the dealer waiting to have this one in transit just do that? But that's neither here nor there. Later the same night i get an email from the internet director saying the vehicle was damaged and could not be sold and was just not taken off the site. There were little bit of communication gap after the purchase but overall it was a great experience. I think his name is Kyle, he showed me the car who seems to have lot of knowledge about the car and explained me lot about the after market exhaust n sound systems on which I had very little idea, It was a very good experience. WORST DEALERSHIP EVER. I would not step foot on this lot again. We bought a used Honda CR-V from them and as we were driving home (and after the sun went down) we noticed none of the panel interior lights worked. It took hell and highwater to FINALLY agree to fix it for (without charging us). It took weeks to fix and they did end up paying for our rental car, but it was the biggest pain in the butt, and took me complaining to the manager to finally resolve. 3/25/23 we called on a vehicle asked if it was available and we were told it was, asked us if we wanted to schedule an appointment so we did for 3/27/23 @11. we got to the dealer and rhinell navora took us in the back to look at it. at this time we were told that it isn't ready yet and we can't even look inside the car until it is looked over. the car was not "available" but they said if we want to be in line for this car we needed to put a contract on it with money down to hold it for us. we would then have to drive over 60 miles one way to come and take it for a test drive (we live in arizona city). we did put a contract to hold the car and since we had things planned the rest of the week we made an appointment to come back on 4/1/23 @ 8 am. 0n 3/31/23 @ 3:22 pm rhinell called us and told us we needed to come out today for the car. rhinell stated if we come out he will make sure we get a tank of gas and had a gift card for us. we didn't want to travel on i-10 @ 3:30 on a friday but we did. we did go thru purchasing the car with the help from the business manager ali har which he was very helpful and honest. i asked why was it so important to come on 3/31/23 instead of 4/1/23. ali was truthful and i did express that i was not happy with rhinell and how he treated us. this was an inconvenience as we paid for the month of march on plates by purchasing this vehicle on 3/31/23 and not the way i wanted to spend my birthday which was today! after everything was done and taken care of really by ali har only, we were walking out and rhinell walked by us and ali asked rhinell to come over. rhinell's response was "i'm with a customer right now" and kept on walking. if you plan on purchasing a vehicle from showcase honda be aware of "RHINELL NAVORA" as he is a LIAR and he doesn't care about anything but the $$$! margo read more

I called ahead to confirm that they take Arrowhead Honda coupons and the person on the phone said that they honored it. So I show up and this pompous gentleman completely denies it all. Even my "scheduled" appointment wasn't found on their hard copy listing. Finally, we agree on a price. Yet after the service, which took 3 hours for an oil change, the out-of-the-door price was significantly higher than previously agreed upon. The employee I dealt with specifically barely came out of his AC'd office to deliver serviced cars to his own customers while other employees walked circles around him. I saw the 2 star avg review for this dealership and I was puzzled because I had a great experience purchasing a 2016 Honda Accord from Juan and Atul Sharma. I actually live in San Diego but flew in to Phoenix because they were only 1 of 2 dealerships in the US that had the car I wanted. I initially spoke to Juan on the 24th and he was nothing but helpful. He even made himself available via text over Christmas. Not expected but very nice. The day after I get a call from Atul Sharma. He made the whole buying process painless. He recognized that I was an out of state buyer. So we negotiated a price over email phone and text...and had it in writing before I stepped foot on an airplane. When I arrived at the airport they picked me up and brought me to the dealership. I didnt even wait 15 minutes from the time I was off the plane til pickup. At the dealership Atul let me test drive the car before signing anything. We then waited about 45 mins before going into the title/ finance office. Archi, the finance rep, did not try to sell me anything. He mentioned an aftermarket warranty but I declined and that was that. I spent 15 mins with him and was out the door. From there Mr Sharma was waiting by the car in the delivery area. He paired my phone and briefly explained the features. That was it. Painless. I would recommend this dealer and this sales team to anyone. read more

This dealership overall deserves a bad rating. They really do try to scam you out of your money. I got a 15,000 service completed yesterday....I thought it would entail more from what the service tech had said, however, when I looked at the paper work a lot of what was done was "inspection". So I paid you $293 to look at my car? It was truly a scam and they got me. The only thing I'll be doing with my car going forward are oil changes and tire rotations. This is probably the worse Honda dealership I have ever been in my life, it's a SCAM they treat you like crap. I am not going to lie our salesman there was excellent but the financial advisor Gilbert was so rude and disrespectful, he got mad because we didn't wanna purchase any type of "coverage" etc. He was literally forcing us to do it, he has totally NO CUSTOMER SERVICE whatsoever. Well making long story short our plates never arrived home like they promised, so we went to the "MVD" found out our license plate arrived at the dealership 2 weeks before, not only that but Sr. STEVE PEÑA refused to gave it to us because according to him he STOP THEM FROM ARRIVING TO OUR HOME! He was worse because he threatening us by saying "he would cancel our plates and he knows where we live" if we do not pay some down payment that he claimed to be his money! This "man" talked so bad about the receptionist disclaiming that "she was just one of his employees but she was an idiot and had no idea what she was talking" I cannot believe this type of "jerks" are able to work as desk managers on a prestigious dealership as it is HONDA. Because this type of humans people like us prefer to do business somewhere where they actually shows respect for us. As we were leaving he said to other associate "this is how you treat Hispanics" This review is to let all of you know what kind of "Service this pieces of humans will offer you" STOP AND THINK BEFORE YOU DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Do not shop here. There are many reputable dealerships in the valley. Do not waste your time here. Now that we've had this bad experience I read through other reviews and it is common for them to lure people in to the dealership to see vehicles they do not have. We found a used Infinity and made a plan to go see it. We took two cars, drove all the way there to see the car. My husband spoke with the sales guy last night and again twice today. He said "come on down, it's here for you to see!". BTW they are making NO ATTEMPT TO SOCIAL DISTANCE. Most of the employees were wearing a mask over their mouth but not nose or, they had it hanging off their ear. They put us in a tiny cube where we were all way too close. After leaving us there for 20 minutes the guys came back and said there was no car. He got very defensive. Clearly he had played this game before. The manager then came over and tried to talk us in to looking at a Honda in the same price range. We had no interest in a honda. Isn't BAiT and SWITCH illegal?????? read more
