This would've been more than 5 stars if I based it purely off our dining experience and the wonderful service by the bartender (who was amazing!). Everything we ordered was delicious - white bean dip (licked clean!), chicken cutlet (crispy and well cooked), potato and pesto pizza (crust and toppings perfectly done). And the friendly bartender gave us samples of wine to try since we were not sure what we wanted and we ended up ordering a couple of glasses of wine and they were excellent too. The hiccup was getting seated. When we arrived around 8:15 on a Fri night, the hostess said it would take an hour 45 to get a table for 2 and when we asked about the bar we were told about 45 mins to an hour. Two mins later a group of three people arrive and also ask for a table and then to be seated at the bar, and the second hostess says right now we only two seats at the bar. Basically they would've gotten it if there were only two of them. And I'm like what?! I follow up with the first hostess and you can see that she very reluctantly says yes you can have those seats. Bonkers.

Service was really awesome we loved Louis. He was attentive and friendly, the manager helped with a billing question and was very responsive and helpful. Good energy to the place where it felt casual but nice at the same time. The pizzas were really delicious and we loved the dough. They had some great toppings and flavors. One was slightly overdone, but if you're into that wood fired pizza burn you'll love it!

Blood Orange Spritz & Espresso Martini

We had the most delicious meal at Si Cara! We ordered the blood orange spritz and espresso martini and they were incredible. We started with the fried mozzarella and burrata which were both so fresh and flavorful. We split the pepperoni pizza and were fighting over the last slice!

All the food here was really good! I'd recommend having them cut the slices into smaller pieces as they typically do 4 slices per pie. The garlic bread is a must try! The artichoke pizza had some lemon which I think was a little too overpowering. The potato and pesto pizza is my favorite! The tomato pie is like a classic Marg with a twist! The service was great. There's a cute bar downstairs as well if you're looking to just get some drinks!

The menu seems limited, but everything is made with fresh ingredients. The space is cozy and intimate, yet works well for a quick bite. Personal-sized and priced at $20+. the pizza dough was light and airy. Make sure to ask for the olive oil and parm to dip the crust. Portions are a little small but good enough for personal / small parties for a meal.

This has quickly become one of my favorite pizzas in Boston! Our server was great, very knowledgeable & attentive. Food comes out quick. Really great atmosphere and vibes inside, didn't get the change to go downstairs but I definitely will next time! As someone who doesn't normally go for a garlic bread on a menu, this is absolutely a must order here, it is genuinely amazing. Pizza is light and thin which I personally love.

Yum! The pizza was super delish and they used fresh ingredients and great thin crust. Food was made quickly.

You know when you're eating a kale salad and the pieces are too big and you're kind of cramming them into your mouth and then the salad dressing is all over your face? This is NOT that salad! The kale is perfectly chopped so you can enjoy it with just your fork as you talk to your friend/spouse/date or just read your book. The dressing is such perfection, and the perfect amount, no gloopiness here! Crunchy breadcrumbs add magical texture and then there's a shower of finely grated gouda cheese on top. Have you ever read a good book and as you're reading it, you're so into it that you don't want it to end? So you slow down your reading speed to make it last a little longer? That's how I feel about this salad. There are other delicious items on the menu, I saw someone eating the burger that looked so good, I also want to try the Brussels but the call of the salad siren is too strong. Everyone is super welcoming and friendly, especially Catherine, and the kitchen team even shared the dressing recipe with me. Excellent wine list, casual and cozy space with twinkle lights, a lot of bar/counter seating, great date spot. Also attached/sister company to American Provisions I believe (great spot in Southie for sandwiches, cheeses, wines, pastries, rare food items).

I absolutely ADORE this place. It's one of my top 3 places in all of Boston. The vibes, the food, the wine, the prices, EVERYTHING is 10/10. This is one of those places where I feel at peace because I feel like my money was 100% well-spent. The prices are fair, and I don't feel like I'm being taken advantage of. And the FOOD, the food is exquisite. My favorite time to go is on Tuesdays for the $1 oyster deal, definitely my favorite $1 oyster deal in the city. They mostly have small plates and a few large plates, but you seriously can't go wrong with anything on the menu. And the wine options, amazinggggggg. Gray's is a true gem!

Even though we just had drinks and an app here, I still would like to try and come back for their full menu. On a busy Saturday afternoon in Boston, walking around the Tall Ships, we stopped in at the Envoy hotel to use the restrooms. I remember this restaurant being here, but it's been quite some time. Since we could use a drink and some food, we saw 2 spots open up at the bar so we grabbed them. The place was packed! The outside was slammed. Plus, they had live music which was pretty cool. So, we decided to stay for a cocktail and an app. We ordered the guacomole which was good and I had their Clover Club cocktail, one that I have been meaning to try due to a competition bartending show on Netflix. The cocktail was excellent I had to order another. We didn't plan on staying long, but after meeting some new people and enjoying great conversations, we stayed for awhile. The bartenders looked pretty busy and very overwhelmed but they did the best they could. It was a great time! I know we will be back again for dinner or another time to try their full menu. Definitely a place to check out for sure! Cheers~

Unfortunately, this most recent visit didn't live up to the high standards I've come to expect. While a few dishes hit the mark, the majority of our order was a letdown: Tinned Octopus: Surprisingly chewy and lacked seasoning. Mushroom Toast: The texture was rubbery, and the flavor was completely drowned out by an aggressive amount of balsamic. Beets: Had a very overwhelming cumin flavor that threw the dish out of balance. Roast Beef Slider: Served cold and felt a bit uninspired. It's such a cute, intimate space, and I've had so many wonderful nights here in the past, but the execution was just off this time around. I'm hoping it was just an off night, but it was definitely disappointing given how much I usually love this place!

The wine selection is excellent and thoughtfully curated -- whites, reds, bubbles, orange wines, and more, so there's truly something for every palate. My friend and I both ordered a red, and it was absolutely perfect. Our server was super friendly and attentive, and she even offered a few samples so we could try before committing to a full glass, which we really appreciated. For food, we shared the hot dog with fried oysters to pair with the wine, and it was surprisingly delicious and a fun, elevated bar bite. Overall, the experience was fantastic -- great wine, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Pricing is definitely on the higher end, with wine glasses around $20 and the hot dog at $14, but the quality and experience justify it. I'd absolutely come back for another wine night.
