It was ok but for a new restaurant that's not very comforting. Pros: Gyro portion was large Both the house gyro meat and falafel were delicious Staff were very nice and polite Masks in place (yay!) Cons: Their large portion of fries is $6.50- a little overpriced in my opinion especially when they tasted only ok (see pic below) Their tzatziki sauce tastes very dill heavy (great if you looove dill) Most irritating is when you order online it says they open at noon (pic below) so we ordered to pick up at 12:10pm (pic below) and planned our morning accordingly. Then we got a text at 11:38 am that our order was ready so we had to change plans and rush to pick up. Not ok when people plan according to your posted hours of operation. With tip (posted option when ordering online) it can be pretty pricey I would come again but it won't be on our regular rotation. Shame because we love Greek food.

My wife and I were passing through the area this evening and noticed that PizzaPie was open for business. Turns out they actually opened yesterday. We had eaten earlier, but our son is always hungry, so we grabbed a pizza to take home to him. Unfortunately, it didn't make it home complete because we took a piece to try. Even though business was steady and brisk, the staff was courteous and accommodating. Because it was busy, I didn't want to take pictures inside, but I'll try to get some on our next visit, which I think will be soon, because the pizza was really good! The crust was thin, but not greasy, and the wood flavor from the oven was very noticeable. Prices are on the high side, with a 12" small starting at $13.99 and a 16" large speciality going for $24.99. That's more than most "fast food" restaurants, but based on the quality ingredients and the taste from the small piece I tried, I think it's fair. Pizza is only half the story, however, as they're actually 2 restaurants in one; they're also a gyro shop called gyro.love, and their slogan is "American Mediterranean Fusion." I've never had a gyro before, but I might have to give one a try because they looked amazing. In addition to pizza and gyros, they also offer, flatbreads, fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, salads, chicken wings plus cheesecake and regular cake for desert. Pizza by the slide is also available for those only wanting a couple pieces. While much of the business seemed to be pick up or take out, they do have inside seating available, plus they have a small patio outside that has seating for several parties. Tonight they had 3 flame style heaters going, and eating outside would have been comfortable since it wasn't very cold. In addition to all the above, they also offer catering. Overall, PizzaPie looks to have a winning combination here. Good food, quality ingredients and friendly service. Exactly the type of place I like to visit!

Went during the lunch hour on a Wednesday. The parking lot was jammed and it was hard to find a…read moreparking spot. Also, the Chick-fil-A drive thru which dominates the three restaurants in the building was jammin. So cars were coming and going like it was rush-hour on the Long Island Expressway. We ordered at the counter, and the food was delivered to us at our table. There were two televisions, going one with a football game on it from I don't know where or who is playing, and the Senate hearings were going on another television. In the background was music. It was a little busy noise wise to say the least. I ordered a lamb Gyro, , which which included tzatziki sauce, cucumber, tomato, and onion. Also included with this order, were shoestring french fries that were well seasoned, crisp, and on point. The fries reminded me of McDonald's. Also included was a fountain drink. The restaurant was slow, with one party of two just finishing up when we walked in. I saw only one other customer walk in when we were eating. So in other words, this place was dead. Jersey Mike's next-door was hopping, along with two doors down Chick-fil-A. Lunch was quite expensive at $32 for two. My friend had a cheesesteak with fries which didn't look big at all. All in all, I don't see the value here. The food was good, but really pricey. This was a destination to try once. On the way out, I did notice pizzas on the counter selling per slice. Those didn't look appetizing. With so many restaurants in Glastonbury, there are many better choices than this On a positive note, it was nice seeing the lamb carved from a spit that was going behind the counter.

They were very large, and I liked the diced cucumbers, which is not typical. The hot sauce was also very good. It reminds me of siriacha. We will definitely be back to try some of the other items on the menu.

I really wanted to like this place, I really did. However it seemed to fall short on many levels…read moreand I struggled with the 3-star rating because it really could have been better. I stopped in for a takeout lunch and grabbed four slices and a drink. Normally when I try a pizza place I go for the plain cheese slice first (b/c if you can't do that well I'm not interested in anything else) but they didn't have any available so I'll go slice by slice with this review. First up was the White Pizza, simple pie with Ricotta, Mozzarella and Parmigiano. This wasn't bad at all, but it wasn't very flavorful. Most places will use a garlic and herb base or something to give it some extra flavor but this was just ok. The Chicken-Bacon-Ranch was probably the best of the four I tried, though it was a little light on the toppings. If it had a bit more chicken and/or bacon I would have enjoyed it a lot more than I did but overall it was good, but could be much better. The Buffalo Chicken pizza was not what I am used to. I'm spoiled by the version that Hometown Pizza does where the chicken chunks are breaded and sauced and the finished pie is topped with bleu cheese dressing. This was a pizza with shredded chicken and hot sauce so, technically buffalo chicken but like the other slices, lacking on the toppings so hard to say it was anything other than just "OK". The Big Mac slice was really the biggest disappointment. First off, the Big Mac is a BURGER and there was hardly any burger on the pizza at all. Though there were some sesame seeds present there were none on the crust. The primary toppings here seem to be the 'sauce' and lettuce which tasted more like Russian dressing than "Big Mac" sauce. It's a nice enough place, cozy inside and the staff is friendly for the most part, I wouldn't mind sitting down for a nice lunch but, as many others have mentioned there are a LOT of good pizza places within a short distance so I'm not sure I'll be coming back anytime soon. I'm not sure why they're so light on the toppings but if your slice pies are that skimpy there's no way I'd order a whole pie. Barely three stars.

I thought it was weird that a pizza joint would be this quiet on a Friday night but now I know why…read more I decided to try this spot out as I was in the area and needed to grab dinner. Wanted something easy to bring home. I read about the Big Mac pizza and I just had to try it. The girl that took my order was super nice and friendly. They had one slice left and it looked like it had been sitting there for a while but I was already committed. Decided to add a Caprese salad in place of more pizza. There are seats inside, but it seems like this is more of a take out kind of vibe so I ordered everything to go. The pizza: well that was disappointing. The ratio is all wrong - needs way more meat on it. Not a fan. The salad: not quite what I was expecting. It was big but not enjoyable. Ingredients didn't seem very fresh. With so many other great places to grab pizza from in Glastonbury (Angelo's, Giovanni's, etc) I would recommend going somewhere else if you're looking for a good pie!

The inside was entirely empty, a few people stopped by to pick up their orders, but no one was dining inside. On the wall they have awards they've received from 2011 to 2025, all for being in the top 10 restaurants. It was a bit awkward being the only ones here, but there are bigger issues in the world. Their menu offers pizzas, pasta, gyros, salads and more. We first got an order of their sautéed calamari. This had a nice tender and chewy texture. This is unlike what most places offer. The sauce was also very flavorful, we actually ate it by the spoonful like a soup. Their garlic bread was great for dipping into the sauce. Not a very garlicky garlic bread but not bad. We all got some variation of the gyro, with salad, fries or rice. Mine was with the Greek Salad. This Greek Salad was very fresh and the feta cheese on it sealed it all together. Unfortunately the lamb in the gyro was very overcooked and dry. It wasn't good at all. The tzatziki sauce is always a favorite. Overall I wasn't super impressed with my meal. I might stop by sometime in the future and try something else.

Everything was exceptional, from the drinks and ambiance to the salads, entrées, and desserts. The kale salad was fresh and delicious, the Pasta alla Vodka was outstanding, and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the Chicken Parmesan (I completely forgot to take a picture because she was so excited to dig in!). The hazelnut pie was the perfect way to end the meal and cobbler pie A special shout-out to Rory, who took such great care of us. I was hoping for a Dubai Chocolate Espresso Martini, which wasn't on the menu, and she went above and beyond by checking with the bartender and putting in a special request for me. That thoughtful gesture made my evening extra special and truly reflected the outstanding hospitality. We left happy, full, and already looking forward to coming back to explore more of the menu. Highly recommend and more sensible way was giving the salads separately in two plates. We mentioned we would be sharing the salad and pasta Ella vodka which was the first time I have ever seen in a restaurant, most restaurants would give a big one and we need to portion it out. Amazing experience.
