Siam Station is a sweet little Thai bistro in Irvine's Corporate Park (off of Jamboree & Barranca -- but I saw on Yelp that they have several locations). My friend from China took me there last week after telling me it was fabulous and she told me right!! The food was delectable and the service was prompt, polite and attentive. I had the good ol' standard Pad Thai but theirs is really XCLNT and the Thai chicken wings were super as an apéritif'! It's a crowded place but with a great vibe and plenty of tables outside. And our wait wasn't very long at all. I'm going back as soon as possible and can truly say I recommend it highly. read more

We used to frequent the Siam station off Jamboree. We were so happy to see this one open by us! We love Siam Station. The staff are so kind (shout out to Chris who always has a smile). I was super excited to see another one of these open up as I always go to the tiny one next to the Tustin District. Its located in a more convenient area next to some other restaurants. Exact same menu but everything was just a little worse than the other irvine location. The catfish for example isnt as saucy and ended up drier. Our family always ordered take out from the other Irvine location and was so happy to find out they opened one closer to us. We ordered our usual 4 dishes but the 2 dishes that had crispy pork were so bad. It was overcooked and rock hard. Completely inedible. I was shocked they even decided to package that to go for us. The portion is very small and the food is very salty. The server took away all our utensils while we were still eating and left us only one spoon (the one that we are still using). So we had to wait till the end to use the one spoon to pack the overly salty unable to finish food. They are bad at arranging the seating. People moved around and they moved tables while you were still eating. Don't order the crispy pork. It's very hard and you can taste the old oil. read more

Food is good However Service and price are very confused and super expensive for 3 dishes. Total $65 for street food lunch. The restaurant try to confuse and trapping customers on the ordering so they make more money . They have a very little writing on the menu of what they extra charge. When we order a noodle dish with shrimp and tofu, they charge $16 (regular noodle which plain no protein at all????? ) +$3 for shrimp +$3tofu. Instead of saying nicely to customer, the worker/manager/owner here try to argue. Not worth for us putting the energy to argue over $6 ( for the 2 orders) Never comeback here again. my favorite thai place just opened up closer to where i live and im so excited! their new location off Jeffrey and Roosevelt/Trabuco is bigger and has comfortable seating. it's clean and beautifully/simply decorated. i love that there's now a consistently delicious thai restaurant within my immediate vicinity to rely on whenever i'm craving thai (which is everyday if i'm being honest) the food tastes just as delicious and service just as friendly as the location on Jamboree and Barranca. as usual, my recommendations continue to include their pad thai, the koong karee, and the papaya salad. read more

Portions are small. Their curries are all watered down. Flavorless. Would not recommend this restaurant. It is not authentic at all. It's like panda express for Thai food. I got the Pad Thai with no meat and it was $17. Nothing amazing, it tasted like a regular Pad Thai. Tasted better than most places in Irvine, but that isn't saying much. I might come back to try a curry. Not likely. read more

The service was great, but the food is a miss. Limited menu, super small portions, the curry was thin and essentially flavorless, with minimal protein and vegetables. The protein didn't get coated by the curry so it was really bland. I'd say choose any other option in the area. read more

We ate here last week for first time. Beautiful place. Food was ok. Hardly any spice though. They didn't ask how spicy. We decided to give it another shot today. We got our food to go. Still just ok. Pad Thai and pad see ewe was on the dry side. Pad see ewe was put at highest spice level but still not as spicy as expected. The main reason reason for the 2 stars was as I was eating I found a piece of hard plastic inside the pad Thai as pictured. Looks like something plastic broke off and landed in food. Tried this new location twice now, and I'm officially done. I ordered chicken pad see ew and basil eggplant with tofu for pickup, and the service was terrible both times. I even tried calling beforehand, and no one answered the phone. When I got there, there was no greeting, no smile, nothing. They forgot utensils, and when I asked for hot sauce, she shoved one packet at me without even asking how many I wanted. For a brand-new restaurant, you'd think they'd try harder to make a good impression, but there's zero customer service here. Their other location is way better -- I gave this one two chances, and I'm not coming back. Food was okay. Didn't blow me away. The customer service was such a turnoff. read more

So happy they opened another Siam Station in Irvine! I love the location on Barranca, so I was excited to try this location's menu items. There are some different items on this locations menu. I came here with my friend around 3pm on a Saturday. There was no wait and service was quick! We got the holy basil chicken, beef salad, and moo tod nam pla (crispy pork belly) to split. All the dishes were delicious, but my favorite was the moo tod nam pla. The pork was crispy, hot, and the dipping sauce was delicious and paired very well with the pork. I have tried just about everything on the menu at the Barranca location and am excited to try all the new items they have at this location! Will be back here soon. read more

Service was good, waiters were quick and attentive and food came out pretty quick. The food was underwhelming. The portions were pretty typical, taste was standard, overall nothing special. Terrible service if you're sitting outside, they insist that you sit right in front of their restaurant, even though the outdoor patio is larger than that. I haven't written a yelp review in a while, but siam station deserves on for their soft opening. Service was solid and every dish was a hit. The shrimp rolls were a fun starter. The papaya salad was the best I've had in a while. Sometimes the papaya is a little tough or limp. Not here. It was tender, crisp, and seasoned to perfection. It also avoided the overly seasoned soggy mess at the bottom. Pad see ew wasn't overly broken and had good smokiness. The duck curry is a sleeper hit for me, as duck can be too gamey in certain dishes. The mango sticky rice was a great finish, with ripe mangoes and a beautiful blue rice. I wonder if they use butterfly pea for that. My only comment there is the mango sticky rice portion is small for the price. That won't stop me from coming back again though! read more
