Cute little cafe on h st perfect for a coffee date work sesh or just a cozy book afternoon with a friend. Amazing mocha latte that's perfectly sweet and served in the coziest of mugs. Sit down and have it in a mug if you can I swear it elevates the experience when you need 2 hands to grip your bowl cup. Service so friendly auntie behind the counter makes every cup with love and care. I crave this mocha religiously!

I love! I've been exploring coffee shops/cafes in the area to find a good place to get some work done uninterrupted and hopefully enjoy a hearty lunch. This is it! It's very cozy with ambient music and smells like a warm home. There were about 3 other patrons but a couple tables open, so it wasn't hard finding a spot to settle in. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and a hot chai for lunch - chicken was served on ciabatta bread and super flavorful, very filling. Service was quick and polite, it seems like a mom & pops. I think they have a patio but it was a little chilly this day so I wasn't looking to sit outside. I was able to lock in for a few hours which was a huge plus. There's plenty of street parking with steady foot traffic but once you're inside, it's easy to block out the noise

Sidamo is a must try spot for your coffee and breakfast fix when you're on H st, especially if you've worked up a appetite shopping at Whole Foods. We needed something quick and convenient and this place hit the spot. It's a cozy, comfy place with a nice patio out back. Very friendly team. And the menu has more than enough options. We snagged coffee and a couple breakfast sandwiches (not pictured) and would absolutely return.

When I went here, the place wasn't too crowded + I can hear my friend talking. I thought the chai latte was alright... nothing too crazy. Vibes were alright. Sad to say I might not come back as there are other cafes in the area

Stopped by a few times for coffee and the lemon raspberry cake which were great. The inside later in the day can be pretty crowded, but I grabbed my orders to go. The staff could be a little more friendly.

Staff were efficient and pleasant of a busy morning. I recommend the iced vanilla latte on a hot day. Chocolate croissant was solid and the cafe was clean, smelled good and had ample seating.

It was ok. Coffee was good but the wait was long and it was so crowded inside. The tables are crammed together. Not great seating options. Might try it again in the summer when the outdoor seating is available, but probably won't be back for the indoor seating.

Refreshingly not trendy spot! Interior is eclectic and looks like it evolved organically over time (rather than styled to resemble other buzzy instagrammable coffee shops). There's a patina that's endearing and makes you want to sit and read a newspaper. My latte was great.

Great local spot for delicious coffee! The vibe is very homey and you can tell everyone that comes in is looking to relax or catch up with a friend. I didn't check if there was Wi-Fi, but I didn't notice anyone with their laptops or sitting to work. I got the jamocha which is a sweet chocolatey drink that reminded me of blended nesquik chocolate milk. It was really good and super creamy. Ive heard their chai is really good so I would love to come back and try it. It's a small space so it may be hard at times to grab a table, but if you can it's a fun vibe!

Omg. You can definitely taste the good quality of this coffee. They also roast it right in front of you so you KNOW it's good. The croissant was so flaky and buttery. And the iced caramel latte was so creamy and sweet. It also has such a cool chill vibe and they have a lovely patio to sit at. The servers are also so friendly and it was a great way to start my Saturday. I will definitely be back for more

We love a coffee shop with some WiFi! I love this quaint shop. Food is good, it's so warm and homey. I love working from here especially when I can get the table by the outlet! There's outdoor seating, the people are nice and yall it's perfect. I love the matcha.

I am AMAZED by this cafe. It was so good and I will be back again. The iced chai and iced jamocha were so rich and creamy, you could taste the individual favors in each one, not watered down by the ice or losing texture at all. The Ethiopian vegetable sandwich may have been the best thing I've eaten all month! Highly recommend.

All the way down to the mayo wallpaper in the restroom! As a Dukes Mayo fan, that's awesome! To the food and drink. We had a pickle soda and local sour beer. Both were great and tasty on a hot day. We had three various appetizers from the cool ranch onion rings to the Seattle fries with a mix of dope beet salad in there. All were good, the onion rings were definitely my favorite and judging by all the orders I saw around, it was everyone else's as well. The mains were the RPG and the fish special. The RPG was a bit heavy on the mayo, next time would ask for less mayo but it was still delicious as a char su pork fan. This hit the mark. The fish sandwich was tangy and spicy which made it delicious. It was a bit messy and the bun didn't hold up great but that didn't detract from the flavors. All in all this place is a gem of a sandwich shop / bar. Would recommend if you are in the area.

I heard good things about their sandwiches. My go to is normally Mangialardo's on Pennsylvania Ave in SE DC or Carl's Subbs on Rhode Island Ave in NE DC. I think I will stick to both of them next time. The staff was very friendly and helpful to me as a first timer but the sandwich was totally disapointing! NOT worth it, at all. I ordered a 9 inch capicola, ham, and cheese sub on the hard roll. The roll was very good and fresh but I couldn't taste the cheese or meat in the sandwich because there wasn't enough of it. I tasted the bread, the toppings of lettuce, tomato and onions. I decided to deconstruct the sandwich and found exactly 4 very thinly sliced pieces of meat and 2 very thinly sliced pieces of cheese as pictured clearly in the photographs. I also noticed that the they have different prices for the same type of meats. For example, they have a $29.99 per pound Capicola and one for $9.99 a pound. I asked which went on the sandwich and of course it was the cheaper one. That wasn't surprising and getting my sandwich back to the office. I decided not to eat the rest of the meatless sandwich and just take the loss. I wouldn't come back nor would I recommend a friend to try it

Simple and straightforward ordering process, just remember what you ordered because they don't take names. I go between the Crunchy Boi and the Marisa Tomei Eats Free, which are both great. The Crunchy Boi is probably their most popular sandwich and it's lighter than you would think considering it's filled with potato chips. I think it's worth trying once. The Marisa Tomei, on the other hand, has never failed me. It's balanced with an absurd amount of arugula against the meat, and it's never dry. The portions are generous, like you could definitely split it into two meals, but they're not so heavy that you couldn't finish a sandwich in one sitting.
